Several times we say "7 years" in this video. We bought our Pursuit in 2017 and the Flint the year after. The Flint was released in 2018 and we've had it for 6 years, not 7. Let us know what you think or if you have any questions about the boat!
Fellow Flint owner here! Definitely love it! It’s easy to manage and I’ve been taking it on so many different trips! River, lakes, adding a trolling motor, duck hunting, deer hunting, camping, fishing c swimming with two dogs, everything!
@@Beyondthebite2024 many factors are playing here. I'm about 160lb and I'm not worried about it at all. I can imagine that it will be tippy for a bigger guy. It also depends on your skill level and what you do in it. You can't stand on one edge of it, unlike U10. But hey, they are packing lots of bags and going through rapids in the video. Besides, you always should secure your gear to the boat on a river trip, regardless of whether you think you have a chance of tipping over. There are many other ways you can lose your gear than tipping over.
Is it also a small/medium person? How much gear you taking? What kind of rivers? We try to keep away from the top 15% of boats' capacity to maintain stability. Generally, yes; the Flint is an awesome boat for stuff like that, but if you have any concerns about capacity or stability, consider getting into a U10
No experience on Crescent boats. I've read they are some of the nicest paddling fishing kayak, but there's no way to better balance a boat with camping gear or whatnot than NUC's track system for the seats.
I also like that Nucanoe has 4 mold-in rod holders, the seat can move forward and back, and it has a more open deck. You can’t find those on other kayaks at all.
This was an good video man . Thanks you for showing us how you was fixing up the kayak 🛶 . Not a lot of people show that . Your sandals are awesome man . What kind are they cuz i would like to get me a pair of those? Thanks you for sharing this video buddy.
@@OzarkMediaCo O OK Merrell . Man that suck that they broke man . I am looking for a good pair of sandals to wear . I have to wear flip flops 🩴which I really really love wearing cuz it's the only footwear that will barely and I mean barely fit on my feet 🦶 because I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe . My foot outgrow shoes , socks , & boots because of how evenly straight across my toes are . My toes are not at a 45° Degrees angle like your toes are & like footwear are made . My toes are Evenly straight across so when I try to fit my foot into a shoes my 4/5 toes get crushed which really really hurts when you are a chubby fat dude at 385Ibs . I hope you find another pair of sandals to wear . Please let me know if you do please .
If our Pursuit tips, it gets gallons in the hull and must be drained. We've never had water in any other NUC as many times as they've been rolled over in current or stored outside on rain. 🤷

It's been a great boat for us! Many more years of enjoyment to come!
A lot of people say its so tippy. You are not concerned tipping with all gear?

The flint has been on my list for a while now. Been trying to decide between this and the crescent shoalie or the bonafide RVR.

Merrell. They just broke on the last trip. I can't seem to get them to last.

Great video! 👍
Thank you! 👍
The gaskets around the rod holders and hatch need silicon sealant. They leak terribly

@OzarkMediaCo I left my Flint outside in the rain and it filled up with water. After sealing the rodholders and hatch no more water.
It'll be fine 😂
This is why you're not in charge.
She’s a sleeper indeed!
Great boats!
