Incoming! is one of my favorite tracks in XB2 so I'm glad you heard that right away. I love the sheer aggression of it while still managing to have those uplifting sections too.
A battle theme that even when you’re fighting enemies you don’t Think You Can Take, the game will make it so you Don’t forget. You’ll probably continue to listen to it, even when Yer Done with the game.
People tend to say Counterattack is the best XB2 theme, but I will fight tooth and nail for Incoming!. Genuinely my favorite track in the game especially when that string segment comes. Doesn't help that the track is played with the intro to my favorite character from 2 lol making that scene so much better.
When people say Counterattack is the best theme, you kick down the door -Incoming starts playing - and you shout “Think you can take me!?” In a Scottish accent!
@@SuperHexer123 Honestly, I have a really hard time choosing my favorite track. I have a hard time narrowing it down to a top 30 even. I do have some special appreciation for “Elysium in the Blue Sky” even if it is very short, it just feels so magical, mysterious and majestic, with a hint of melancholy. No I didn’t plan for every word to start with an “M”. 😂
For battle themes, I'd say Torna Battle then Still, Move Forward for me Also Battle in the Skies Above is underrated, but unfortunately it plays like only 3 times before the final boss?
The music is genuinely one of the reasons I highly recommend this franchise - Monolith's head recently made a statement too that they are committed to constantly outdoing themselves - they will not settle for less, and I love them for it. Easily the best RPG developer out there, always have been since their SquareSOFT days making Chrono Trigger and others.
I still think Xenoblade 2 has the best soundtrack in the series. 1 is very good, and 3 is good, but 2 is special in a way not many other game OSTs are.
after seeing your recent VOD, I just wanna add: I love this game, but its tutorials are REALLY bad and cannot be reread. don't be afraid to look up guides or ask someone you know who has played the game. the game has pretty complex combat mechanics, so you'll want the help.
The tutorials being so bad in 2 are the reason they are so much better in DE and 3. Pretty much universally hated by everyone, and they don’t stop, new tutorials keep coming until damn near the end. It’s amazing that with how much support and post launch free updates 2 got, they never bothered to try and improve the tutorials in it beyond them not showing up at all in new game+ runs, which is also not great if it’s been a long enough time since you played
The first battle theme for Xenoblade 2 is probably one of my favorite battle themes for any RPG. And yes, the game has several different themes for normal encounters. Battle! is the first of three or four (depending on how you count certain tracks).
Battle is one the 4 battle themed the zenoblade 2 while incoming is the main boss battle theme for the game and there are othe boss battle themes in the gome as well
The battle theme is so sick. I've mentioned this before but it honestly has Roundball Rock (NBA on NBC) vibes. It's a weird comparison but if you listen to both songs it's 100% there, lol.
I know you won't read this but yes xenoblade 2 tutorials are the worst in the series. Definitive edition came after so it has a lot of quality of life improvements. Don't be afraid of looking for help if you don't understand some mechanics. It's a really good game even with the bad tutorials.
Am I the only one who can't stand him constantly moving in battles? He is constantly interrupting auto attacks and does no damage, I hope he realizes his mistakes soon, otherwise he is going to suffer a lot.
How far are you in? He’s playing pretty well for a beginner imo, it’s natural for beginners to not realise you have to stand still to properly auto attack.
@@FrancisYorkMorganFBI Even in 1 he kept constantly running around like a madman in combat. Most people learn to stop doing that if it's not necessary so they can focus on timing their arts properly, but he never stopped. Well, at least the 2nd game will force him from that bad habit. He treats it like an ARPG, but the combat's not quite an action type system. It's essentially an ATB combat system which is still a mix of turn-based combat and realtime combat.
I wish you would turn on comments in your gameplay, it feels empty without people's opinions. I started watching it and you are playing it in English, It has very good nuances in the voices. I hope you continue like this and take into account the first thing I told you.
I can't unhear the battle theme without hearing the "Don't forget me" guard remix
Me too , it's burned into every Xenoblade player's memory 😂
literally the first thing that pop'd into my mind once it started.
It would have been the funniest thing if they sent him that version
yer done, yer done, yer done
It's so good, but ah... side effect is that it sorta ruins the song forever. You'll never forget it.
"don't forget me" "yer done" "behave"
THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME?!
"DON'T FORGET ME!"
“This will shut you up!”
*_"HERE'S HOW WE DO THINGS!!"_*
PIPSQUEAK!
Incoming! is one of my favorite tracks in XB2 so I'm glad you heard that right away. I love the sheer aggression of it while still managing to have those uplifting sections too.
As soon as "Incoming!" started I KNEW he would've instantly love it 💯🤣
"DONT FORGET ME!"
"THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME?!"
"YER DONE!!!"
these words will forever haunt the battle theme and our collective memory.
You forgot "BEHAVE!"
A battle theme that even when you’re fighting enemies you don’t Think You Can Take, the game will make it so you Don’t forget. You’ll probably continue to listen to it, even when Yer Done with the game.
Oh Behave! 😂
He wot understand all thiese comments on this vid 🤣
So true, it might seem Harsh, but This Is How We Do Things
[DON’T FEHRGET MEH” intensifies]

After Despair and Hope, Praetor Amalthus , Uraya Night, and Jin beg to differ. (And Incoming, of course)
It's Leftherian Archipelago

Incoming is one of the best battle themes in the game known for all it's battle themes
2:27 I've always loved this distortion leading into the strings 😩
今ちょうどジェシーさんはゼノブレ2やってる最中ですね!
I love your reaction at the beginning of "Incoming!"
You can actually hear the bass in Incoming during that section where the lead instruments drop out, just before the half time section.
I still think Xenoblade 2 has the best soundtrack in the series. 1 is very good, and 3 is good, but 2 is special in a way not many other game OSTs are.
Agreed
You will love this soundtrack, wish I was hearing it for the first time :)
The immediate smirk with Incoming tells all lol
I like how he laughs at the start of incoming like "context! I have context! I've heard where this plays!" Or at least that's how he comes across 😂
He recorded this before playing the game. It's more like he's reacting to the electric guitar being absolutely nasty from the start lol.
incoming is one of my fave themes to come out of the xenoblade series

I have been waiting for Incoming! My favourite battle theme from this game. You'll be amazed with the good music that XC2 has.
Incoming! Is definitely my favorite battle theme from 2. It just goes so hard!
Battle is one the 4 battle themed the zenoblade 2 while incoming is the main boss battle theme for the game and there are othe boss battle themes in the gome as well
Always hoped you would listen to incoming eventually. Since you are playing XC2 you are in for a fantastic musical ride.
ITS FINALLY TIME FOR INCOMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God I love this game
i yes battle, also know as THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME
This is soo wered i have never spesifikky gone out of the wey to listen to this song, but I know this song by heart🥳🥳
youre gonna love the music of this game cause its way more guitar heavy than xenoblade 1 ever was
YER DONE
DONT FORGET ME
I think sometimes they reuse a boss theme to 'borrow' the feelings of fighting the other ones with the same tune by reminding you.
Dont' forget me
Whats the theme thats playing at 16:30 its so good
Its from Hades. Search flashback/narrator theme and you will find it probably
It never occured to me before this video but Incoming! gives me a lot of Blazblue vibes
Hello, welcome to the basic early game songs. Enjoy you stay!
Another victim of torna dlc
Yo let him discover the songs naturally! Spoilers...

he is still used to the auto attacks from 1. give him some time.
The game doesn’t tell you a lot about that, I think he‘ll get it at some point, so far he‘s not doing too bad though imo
It takes time to get used to the auto attack stuff in that game, it behaves strangely with how easy it is to cancel an animation

Jesse's playing in dub though. Hard pass for me.

So many fun little elements in these tracks, so energetic and cheeky.
