Any one, and every one, aught to listen to O Magnum Mysterium, at the very least, once in their life time, thanks for sharing the music.

Usually I don't listen to songs with religious meanings but the melody is so beautiful, yet a little sad, and I can't stop listen to it.❤

This is a beautiful accompaniment to prayer. I find my focus on Our Lord is greatly enhanced and my prayer life more meaningful. God bless you.

A lovely rendition, but I still feel that the human voices of a choir are really what give this works such a special meaning and resonance. The words are important. The sound of human voices are what give it the most meaning and reverence. It is the prayer and praise of Mary herself as she has given birth to the saviour of the world, knowing also what he must do to complete his mission.

I had the honor of singing this piece before it went out for publication. That took place in the mid-1990s. And every time I hear this piece, I still feel the same love and serenity I felt years ago when I sang it the first piece. What a masterpiece. I hope that some day this piece will be revered like the Mozart Ave Verum Corpus.

O great mystery and wonderful sacrament that the animals might see the Lord, born, lying in a manger.

    Un grand merci, c'est magnifique!
    O grand mystère,
    et admirable sacrement,
que des animaux voient leur Seigneur nouveau-né,
    couché dans une mangeoire!
    Heureuse Vierge,
dont le sein a mérité de porter le Christ Seigneur.
    Alleluia!

Where can one find an all-cello arrangement of this piece?
