O great mystery,
and wonderful sacrament,
that animals should see the new-born Lord,
lying in a manger!
Blessed is the Virgin whose womb
was worthy to bear
Christ the Lord.
Alleluia!
I had no idea there was a solo version!! 😱😱😱 This is one of my favorite pieces of music.
Yes, Lauridsen arranged it several years ago for a soprano friend of his.
Danke schön !
Wer hätt‘s gedacht , diese Meisterchorwerk als Solo zu singen !!
Wunderbar gesungen !!!
One of those performances that you want to hear over and over again, like a rare recording! BEAUTIFUL, Bryan!!
Brother, you sound heavenly. Such control! Thanks for such incredible singing.
Beautifully sung, as is always the case with this excellent singer!! Bravo!!_____
Thank you. I listen to this before bed and it brings me peace. A true gem!
I get goosebumps all over!!
This is some of the most beautiful singing I have ever heard. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
God bless you.
PS I *hope* you are a lieder singer.
So beautiful !
This is wonderful. I have a score in the original key for 4 cellos, but now I have a solo version that I can actually play as a beginner and perhaps someday sing! Thank you.
However he did it, it is beautifully done. BRAVO for BRYAN!!
What a glorious voice you have! Rock on with your talented self. I LOVE your passagio and high notes, too.
Guess the one thing that always reminds me there's a God? A beautiful male voice

C'est très beau, un grand merci!
O grand mystère,
et admirable sacrement,
que des animaux voient leur Seigneur nouveau-né,
couché dans une mangeoire!
Heureuse Vierge,
dont le sein a mérité de porter le Christ Seigneur.
Alleluia!

WHO ARE YOU?!!! You can't be from this planet! There are no actual words to describe what you did there.... nope! no words.
You are a tenor.....A beautiful one!!!
I'm glad somebody said it. Or a baryton martin, something!
@@finally_dorian maybe a dramatic in development... 😁
I respectfully disagree. That sound is way too rich and smooth to be any form of tenor..He's just got gloriously easy high places.
@@margaretvignola4366 I understand disagreement, but are you also implying that tenors can't have rich and smooth timbres and choices?
@@margaretvignola4366 I suppose some people only listen to thin, pinched, whiny tenor voices and haven't bothered to listen to the rest of the voice type. Plenty of rich, smooth voices that are 100% tenor...
