I think the reason for they're manners is because in heaven angels are treated all nice and in hell people are put in their place, it explains their attitudes during the entire time

I think they knew from the very beginning considering Scanty was posing as Brief’s fiancé at the end before he rejected her for Panty, also they were helping Corset, so yeah also they aren’t really bad people that and they prolly did know Brief was the key which is why they prolly didn’t just kill him and be done with it (though Scanty prolly could’ve killed him since we know Panty’s Heavenly weapons can’t hurt Humans I refuse to believe Scanty’s can’t considering the bad guys usually Always have better weapons or powers than the heroes) or just knock him out. If I was as well mannered as Scanty and Kneesocks then instead of killing Brief I would’ve just knocked him out
