You can tell just how much fun Jeremy Jordan had playing Lucifer
One thing worth noting about just how powerful Lucifer is... lol he was hovering in the air with Charlie in his arms and, IN LESS THAN A SINGLE FRAME, he was straddling Adam while punching with both hands and was about to nuke him point blank with that fireball before Charlie stopped him. That is INCREDIBLE dexterity. Adam didn't stand a chance.

Lucifer's "More than Anything" song, notice the part when those arrows of light were pointed at him, he had a look of acceptance, when they were pointed at Charlie, his eyes widened and he pulled her towards him so that he would take the brunt.
Not only that, it was sort of a light coming from "heaven" shining through the windows, he kept her in the darkness so they wouldn't touch her.
And when his eyes widen they widen in fear :(

The embodiment of evil in this show is actually a different being we are supposed to meet later down the line. You see her in the first shot smiling when they first explain what heaven is to the side
