Secret stone symbols seems to be based on kanji for their element. 風 (wind) for Tulin 火 (fire) or maybe 炎 (flame) for Yunobo 水 (water) for Sidon 雷 (thunder) for Riju 魂 (spirit) for Mineru 闇 (darkness) for Ganondorf
Unkown fact: in lookout landing, as you recruit sages, each one will add a flag with its people's emblem on it where Purah usually stands. For example, if you have Yunobo and Sidon unlocked, there will be a Goron and Zora flag on Purah's platform !

worth mentioning that while construct parts can be thrown into the zonai dispenser, they will always only ever give 1, regardless of how valuable it is, so it's best to use just the cheap ones
I assumed everyone knew about this, since at the time you get to the first dispenser one barely has five different items, and the energy things don't last
And here I'm sitting around telling myself "Roughly enough time has pass that a new episode of "things you didn't know about TotK" is due" and here it is. Thanks, I gotta get this game eventually.
Yeah. There is a main story mission telling you to follow them to find something and besides lightroots (which were probably on the path to be nice) you find the mines.
5:21 This is my fave one this time. I can really see it being temporary invincibility bcuz of what you mentioned, but also how in wind waker, eating grandma's soup 🍲 does something similar. I really wish it had been added as it could've really impacted the game 🎮 & allowed for another cool armor set 😒 I guess we'll have to wait until the next entry in 2026 though
the statue one isn't a hidden secret, it's something intended in the games story that you find out on the quest to find the great abandoned central mine. they lead the major mines that kogah is located
the first time I did an proper exploration of the Depths I figured out I should follow the statues I started following the purple path (2:43), missed the central mine and followed the entire orange path no wonder I couldn't find Auto Build until 60h into the game
in the zelda error fact, one of the speech bubbles is near the place where in botw was a non cell-shaded place that it was partially fixed in totk, maybe the footage is posibly when they were to fix it
I imagine given the icon that Emergency Avoid was probably a survive-next-lethal-hit-with-half-a-heart buff. Makes the most sense given the game's mechanics, the icon (since it also doubles as a good failsafe for new players) and even the placeholder name (literally helps you avoid emergencies)
There was this glitch I found with trapped bananas placed by yigas. Wear the full yiga outfit and grab it by pressing A, grab it with ultra hand, and hit it with a weapon. After this, feel free to take of part of your outfit and take the banana and the yiga won’t attack you
I know there are a lot of discussions around whether it should be TOTK or BG3 who win the GOTY, but lemme just say it here that after playing TOTK and also 30 hours of BG3, TOTK really got its rival this year. It would have been easily the GOTY if BG3 wasn't out. This is only 3 years into the decade, but I'm pretty confident both of them are my GOTDs.
Not only is that stabilizer trick effective going up, it can be good to launch yourself side-ways too when angled a certain way, perhaps as a way to get to the next Shrine or Lightroot as fast as possible.
Fun fact: Phantom Ganon actually has a secret stone on his head, since his appearance mimic's Ganondorf's decayed appearance. Edit: Also, did you know you could recall the cannon zonai device's cannonballs? (both of these facts may have been covered, but ears) Edit 2: You can also take pictures of the Yiga Blademaster and Yiga Footsoldier through the window of the base on the Great Plateau, this might be known, or have been covered, but its still cool. Edit 3: you can also Tulin Gust with a cuccoo
I recently discovered that if you shield surf with the lynel armor containing spikes, Link just falls over, because the spikes get stuck in the ground. What an incredible detail.😂
I know something that you don’t know about totk. If you eat a food or elixir with the glow effect and go to the dye shop with the effect still active the materials you hold while dye with also glow. COOL
I know I’m very late, but I just found a message whilst I was tp-ing that said “shrine walls are too steep or slick to climb etc” however this was changed in this game I don’t think you have already said it, and I don’t think I’m on the wrong version or something, but it may just be smthing wrong with me/my game
Goes to show you how much they have to reach and scrape for "things you didn't know about TotK." Even toward the end of BotW there were still more frequent videos with things you actually didn't know. It's like they're trying hard to make it seem like TotK is bringing a lot new small details but really much of what's to offer has already been explored in BotW. This game is dying out faster as well. From casual to speed running I've noticed people playing it less and less.
If you stand at 0672 - 0793 - 0001 in the well there is flashing red smoke I suspect there is a clipped camp fire here because it is nowhere else in the cave.
Well i may be late but did you know totk my home is similar to shop song in oot it look so cool idea Edit: no wait it was come from link house from oot. Correct me if I wrong

Am I crazy or isn't the statues pointing the way, a huge part of the depths exploration?
Yeah. There is a main story mission telling you to follow them to find something and besides lightroots (which were probably on the path to be nice) you find the mines.
You can also deflect the Flame Gleeok Fireball with a Spring Shield, no parry is required.
Maybe we'll see the Poison Water being restored (in a future Custom Dungeon), who knows! 😀
cheeky
I would love to see that
another thing is the way Link holds the master sword. He holds it so the "sharp" parts are horizontal, not vertical like all other 1 handed weapons
Well it’s a big sword
Can't say I would've thought to fuse something water-related to a Zora sword. Talk about sneaky. 😄
