Wow, we're coming up on 3 years of this show running, and there's still more to come! Which was your favorite thing this time? 😄
It's so sad that your channel is inactive. Is there a chance of a revival with TOTK combat clips?
Hi
Can you do another combat compliction? There so sick!
Can you do a tutorial on how to get the op master sword?
hhk
the audio work its amazing, it makes me want to play the games with headphones just to see how much the audio changes between the materials and sizes of the different areas
Had no idea the sound design went that deep. It's difficult to express how impressive it is the game is running these algorithms in real time without ray tracing tech to support it.
And that it’s running these sound calculations on the Switch’s meager CPU alongside all the other game logic and systems. Truly mind blowing.
fuf
Sony like, "We built a whole audio ray tracing engine into the PS5!" But Nintendo is doing it on a tablet somehow.
@@nicknonamenobody too be fair to sony tears of the kingdom isn't exactly the smoothest running game.
They even thinked about echoes and complex sound effects. That's amazing!
The camera tricks are super useful! I can't wait to practice them.
You can easily activate them with minure hold smuggle which is way more convenient than the method mentioned
Hi Bread!
How’s the ship captain?
х
Hi bread! i LOVE your vids!
I love this series! I watch them all as soon as I see them!
SAMEE
Slow motion bokoblins are a wonderful sight
slowmoblins
No matter how impressive I already think this game is, there's always more I didn’t know about.
The fact that they added a whole dynamic echo system is insane, the code of this game must be a beauty to look at
Man I miss the Guardians
I do too! I thought the devs would expound upon the idea and maybe make guardians interact with Link kind of like constructs do. Or have monsters ride and control them! Wouldnt that be exciting?
I wish there was a secret remnant population somewhere in the depths. Ir even a colesseum not unlike the Lynel colesseum where you have to fight 5 types of guardians. Decayed, turret, scout, sky watcher and finally stalker!
@JeromyBranch and @MrSuperleobros totally agree with you, that would have been so cool. What a wasted potential.
@@Pratendo shame as dlc is off the tables. I'm hoping guardians may make a return some day. Something about not having guardians in totk doesn't sit right with me and I have to admit, it's kinda sad the guardians provided Hyrule with so much hope and the calamity basically gave them a bad name.
While gloom hands make a good replacement, I think it would have been cool to have both.
@@MrSuperleobros My guess is, Nintendo just had so many gameplay ideas but had to „forcefully“ create the story and the lore around it. That’s why the story and lore have become so inconsistent and dry. It kinda makes me sad, that Totk suffers from high expectations, but these are totally valid.
A sequel is a good one by seemingly continuing the story from the first one and by answering questions we had in the first one. They barely did that..
Thank you for continuing the series, guys! Totk is a slow burner for me: enyoing it more and more with time, and am happy whenever you resease new content on it 😊
The Zelda cycle at its finest
fufu
absolutely astounding how the switch runs TotK especially considering the ray tracing sound design??? and yet people still blame Scarlet/Violet’s lag, 3 frame animations, and horrible render distance/graphics on the fact that the switch is a bad console
i didnt see one lie man
Evermeans scared me when I first encountered one. I did not expect the trees to move.
I never paid attention to the complex sound system.
Upon seeing the evermean fact I can only think of 1 thing..... *CAN YOU PARRY THAT*
BLUE SPARKS MEAN PARRY
Did you really watch the video
This is my absolute favorite series on RUclips thank you so much Gamespot❤️
All those details are amazing! 🤩
Hey Waikuteru! Love your mods!

I’m pretty sure the new echo system has been done because of the whole underground situation and caves too
The reason for the "Guardian" label is that the game works by having objects literally "emit terror". It comes in different levels and most enemies are only level 2, but in their respective games, Guardians and Gloom Spawn/Phantom Ganon are the only things that emit terror at level 5, the highest level, and this is tied to the Guardian text labels. I guess they're objectively the scariest things in Hyrule.
If I saw a figure that looked just like the Demon King that spawned every bit of evil in Hyrule, I'd run away as fast as with a Guardian too.
5:36 Evermean logs also give more firewood than normal logs when chopped
The sword swing "shwwingg" sound effect was added in TotK (as opposed to BotW's abruptly paused sword swinging sound)
5:23 I did actually; I accidentally flurry rushed one and then realized I could probably also parry them
That attention to detail on the sounds of link is crazy
It’s always a great day when one of these comes out!
And people think this is botw dlc which it is clearly not the case at all
There are still some people saying stuff like that? LOL! So they think the last "new" game came out in 2017. Guess they'll have to wait over a decade for the next "new" game while the rest of us enjoy TotK. Their loss.
Yeah some dude who never played the game but saw clips of it calls it DLC...
Meanwhile I spend over 300 hours in the game and _I'm_ the one who's wrong? Pfff... this is a new game 100%
Thank you
Every time I hear someone says that it make me want to say “ did you ever play the game?”
@@michaelgarner4423ye and almost every response is “no but I saw it online and could just tell”
fu
Audio Algoritiums!!??! That's just crazy.
an interesting fact is that wearing the full glide suit and gliding from the room of awakening will place you right at the temple of time.hope this gets to your videos
Gliding from the platform behind the Temple of Time also takes you straight to Lookout Landing.
can we get a full tuturial for the master sword trick
Keep this series going! It is a 10 billion percent must watch every time.
0:07 Yoo it's the elevator I freed!
Sound echoing is so underappreciated, the world becomes 10x more believable, love it.
Still waiting for a way to get powered up master sword without creating a new save
These will never get old
This sound part was impressive!
wow that stuff about the audio is really cool
I noticed that sounds echoed more or less depending on the surroundings, but I just assumed that was manually set on a case by case basis, sort of like how different surface types have their different footstep sounds manually chosen. I absolutely did not think echo levels were dynamically calculated in-engine.
TotK and BotW both had amazing sound design. It really helped to pull you into the world they created.
Found something I dunno if you guys have covered or not; if you sneak past Riju and go into the back entrance of the gerudo shelter, there is a special cutscene that plays.
The audio can be experienced really well by simply walking the main path through gerudo canyon on foot, the rushing water in the distance is buetiful
In TotK, there are npc in Woodland Stable and his name is Molo, also you can find npc called Tie (no Twin Ion Engine from SW) and other names example Kaneli that are from Finnish language. Im finnish but I guess that Idk why?
There are more things that are unknown facts in this game. QWR 42m but 100% are over than 200h to playing.
Evermeans have diamond shaped marks in the middle of their trunk where eyes might be. I haven’t seen these on normal trees. I also just recently noticed that they shake randomly if they haven’t spotted you yet, giving away which trees are evermeans.
7:37 link made a SAW trap, it’s amazing how Nintendo allows you to let your creative mind flourish 😊
0:27 One extra for the Ultrahand Reference. Mario Power Tennis. Wario uses the Ultra-Hand as one of his special moves.
I love TOTK!
It was truly an amazing game.
I bought switch solely for these two games BoTW and ToTK and I don't regret it at all, although after those two I bought a few more games too.
Gotta love how so many characters have been programmed to respond differently to different stuff.
RIP that one Construct you dragged over to the Gloom Hands XD
I'm unsure if anyone has done this one yet but I just figured out you can use a star fragment to completely bypass where you need a mirror and light beam on the light sensor like in shrines
Weird fact, not sure if y'all know this. If you fuse a Giant Boomerang with a Luminous Talus heart, and throw it, the weapon will fall to the ground before coming back.
(I haven't tried it with other boomerangs or Talus hearts)
U can attach a rock and stone talus heart and probably other stuff to ur shield to smash ore deposits instead of using one of your weapon slots for a hammer
It's a must to play TOTK with 5.1 surround system.
I can't remember where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure there was a complicated glitch that let you "use" the camera in third person. Best part is that it was super goofy.
That's strange, my master sword has the glow to it. It also has symbols on the blade. I've also got 2 msg masterswords from 1.1.1. They also glow but don't have the symbols on the blade like the original one.
Also the echo effect is more pronounced in low gravity.
5:30 I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH
i will watch these forever
Of course there are annoying bugs that are still not fixed. Their only major concern was to patch dup glitches that removed a lot of the grind.
Ah, Nintendo, never change.
Here’s a fact: fusing the big water globs from the water temple onto the zora swords, you’ll get the damage boost passive.
I used to carry a second fire weapon specifically for killing evermeans. They got one over on me too many times.
Light raytracing ❌ sound raytracing ✅
Just know that Gleeoks have a tail swipe attack, and tumbleweeds can damage you.
Love the videos, keep them coming
I love these videos. If I could personally pay for the dude who makes these salary i would help fr
This game is amazing... they should take the chance of give 2 gotys instead 1 in the same year for once, it would be historycal and totally legit
knew 6 of em
I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY ABOUT THE AUDIO! MOST OF MY FRIENDS THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY WHEN I SAID THE ECHOES FELT REALISTIC IN THIS GAME
Question. What is the location of the lynel at fact number 4?
It looks desert-ish, so I'm guessing somewhere near Gerudo territory.
@@janeenschultz8502 okay
7:37 WHAT IS THIS MACHINE?
The last one is a heck of a thing. Kudos Nintendo for making the real 2023 GOTY.
I'm 70 hours into totk and still haven't killed a gleeok or a lynel.
Unbelievable
Now that Gamespot has covered that annoying master sword durability bug, hopefully Nintendo will finally patch it. 🤞
Another Max Blumenthal (the other being the Grayzone journalist)?! The irony there...
🎉
If you go to one of the main towns before the first blood moon, a blood moon will happen immediately.
The devs spending hours and hours creating complex audio systems to create sound dampening and echo effects
Me with my sound off:)
Love the names of these exploits.😂
Cool
I still dont know where the master cycle is.
Truly amazed, how well-made this game really is. Zelda should’ve won game of the year not incel gate 3
#Gamimg #Zelda
{Triple AAA Gaming Executive yelling at his programmers}: Nintendo did this in, in real time, in a cave, with 10 year old hardware that can fit in your pocket! Why can't you do this on next gen systems?!
{Programmers}: Well sir... we're not Nintendo.
I would like to see Nintendo give a little more attention to this game though
All this and they still won’t fix the Master Sword
#8. Gleoks are kinda cute…?
I think the series is over.
0:52 Pretty sure Nintendo recognizes this as intended behavior if they haven't patched it out yet.
They made raytrace audio....
You still can’t pet dogs in this game.
I want my money back
Oh yeah, it hasn't been patched because it's an easy to occur, non game breaking bug that has no benefit.
jesus christ, no wonder this game took so long to code
link blogs
They perfected the sounds and physics of this game to a tee instead of actually adding anything in the depths of sky islands💀
hehe taking the master sword to its limmit I ALREADY KNOW AND I HAVE NOT WATCHED VID YET THAT UR TALKING BOUT THE UNBREAKABLE MASTER SWORD GLITCH
ight so Baldur's Gate 3 won why?
6th
Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuf
ur so tuiori ur so madmon alex
love it
that's cool that they did all that with the sound design, but I think we would have preferred real dungeons and story.
Nice little details, but the game itself is too messy and slow compared to BotW.
Is totk combat dead?
No I don’t think so.
uffu
Honestly I think botw combat was much better than totk combat
