Going on your same journey now: December 2023. Before stumbling across your video's I have narrowed down my search to the same 2 units you started evaluating. I have been doing woodworking for many years (too many to count) and getting ready to retire in Jan 2024. I am looking to expand my knowledge base and tool set to include CNC. I appreciate all your videos, I have watched almost all of them, newer ones included. Thanks for your work and time. Question: what would you do differently now?
I subscribed just so I can see how you get your vacuum system set up. I have the longmill so I'm looking for a way to cleanup. It gets messy.. While it is good and stiff I think you made the right choice. It looks like you tackled your shopping list like it was a military recon mission! Great job.
I have followed your videos on this. You had talked about sharing the true cost with required accessories. Were you able to figure that out or is that a rabbit hole I should not be asking about. 😂

I build a table out of 2x6 to hold mine. got the machine built the table and made my first cut all in 48 hrs. you will love that CNC
