I still don't get why folks are 💩 on the turbo 4. Toyota has a lineage of amazing turbo 4s and 6s in the past. Similarly, do folks love getting only 18mpg with their truck? The v6 was archaic, ga guzzling, and overall just a meh engine. My issue is that in the US we get only US specified vehicles. Import over the bullet proof Hilux and similar vehicles. US design team needs to let Japan do their thing.
