Absolutely brilliantly captured, brother. I was there in May 2023, and was hunting for a video that could completely capture the essence and thrill of this challenging trek. After going through piles of RUclips garbage where people were more interested in talking and focusing the camera on themselves, I finally found this gem. Super cinematography and brilliant drone shots. Take a bow! This is clearly the gold standard for anyone who wants to know everyday, every route, and every camp of the stunning Bali pass trek!
Krishanji, nice video. it took me to my bali pass trek days of Sept. 2015. difference between ur trek and ours is that we descended towards Yamunotri and it was a deadly descent, but yes Bholenath made it possibke and smoothly.
Great Video! Reminded me of my Bali Pass Trek which I did in 2022. Looks like weather gods were in your favor after Ruinsara tal and Snow Condition was great.
Damn, the video was absolutely amazing. One of the hardest thing is to capture these unfathomable mountains. Which most people fail to do, you did it just the right way. Cheers man.
it's a cheap lightweight aluminium tripod which i bought from amazon, nothing fancy. I modified it later with a ball head and wrapping some braided rope for cold times as the metal gets cold while carrying it. 😅 hope that helps!
damn bro i love your work its a peice of art. btw by which organization you go ??? i also want to go to trek i have never done a trek before i am almost 18 my boards are gonaa end soon suggest me some good treks i love you bro (gulabi dil)

Brilliant one sirji. This would have taken so much hard work and patience, but the final cut is insanely beautiful. The drone shots particularly are just mind blowing. Waiting for your KGL vlog now 🙂
Hello, thank you for this amazing video. I want to know a few things- 1. Which shoe should I use for this kind of treks? Please suggest a good one. 2. Which polarised sunglass should I use? 3. What about the toilet part in snow capped campsites? What are the toiletries that I should keep with me?
1) For shoes you can go for trek 100 from decathlon..it's a really good shoe..just you need to wear it once in a while else the sole breaks away 2) I personally will recommend not to use polarised glasses use any Cat 3 or Cat 4 if it's really high altitude..that will be more helpful
3) I generally keel tissue paper, a small hand wash and sometimes a small water bottle which I can crush and store with me ... If there is snow then you'll have to use just tissue only..or you can wet the tissue and then use it for optimal cleaning
This is peak cinematography 🔥 thank you for putting it out here 🙌 I literally jaw-dropped for 40 effin' minutes. The video healed me in a manner i cant comprehend ❤
Thanks bro for this scenic cinematography of Bali Pass trek.💕 I'm going also for this trek on Sept this year with IndiaHikes. Will there be any permission to carry drone or not, coz IH always imposing conditions..please let me know asap. It'll be more interesting if it was happy ending.😊
@@krishanbanerjee Thanks for your reply but I was not asking those.😊 I've done many treks with IH, so well known about those things. Actually I'm asking about drone permissions or restrictions not from IH but forest area or so, during hiking!! If you let me know.
Amazing one Krishnan.. Please please have your voice over in between.. this will give a different approach over period.. I have a question for you sir, You were using camera plus drone plus mobile and/or go pro.. How you are able to manage the power backup? whether you were carrying any solar charging or carrying power bank? Can you please provide the power bank details i.e. company and total mah you were carrying? Looking forward for your next video.. Thank you..
hello, thanks for watching, I carry 4-5 powerbanks(80k maH) with me, it gets heavy believe me, i prefer the MI powerbanks, they are the lightest i found. Voiceover, i thought about it to be honest, but i feel i am not good at talking 😅
@@krishanbanerjee everything will have day one, you will do great job in explaining the feeling also.. if video is of 10-15 minutes only music will be good... Will wait for your next video.. Thank you for your revert...
Having completed 3 treks till now, I know how difficult it is to shoot while trekking in harsh weather. I dont have any word to explain how awestruck I am after 41mins of pure nature at its peak... I have three questions. 1. How on earth did you get thoose clothes dry during trek? Or did you carry them all along wet in the rucksack? 2. I cant imagine being all drenched in rain while trekking, coz if u catch slightest cold.. U will be gone for good as far as i know. So did u take the risk? How did sleep after being drenched at lower campsites? 3. And of course, video cam specs please? With tripod or gorillapod?
Hello Raj, 1) I generally wear raincoat/shell jacket all the time, it acts as a good wind blocker as well as give protection from rain. My trek pants are quick dry so somehow it worked out you can say. ( i carry dry bags where i put old or wet cloths as it makes it compact and doesn't let my other stuff get wet) 2) after reaching camp site i changed my cloths, wore layers as soon as possible, and most importantly did not go to sleep, if you walk around or do any activity, its better that way, and also drink a lot of water. 3) i carry 3 cameras 1)sony ZVE10 with lens Sony 18-135mm f3.5 and Sony 11mm f1.8, 2) gopro hero 11 and 3) dji osmo action 1 4) dji mini 2 drone also. I carry a cheap tripod which i customized (i am kinda proud about the customization...lol 😅😅). Hope that helps bro!
Hey Man so beautiful ❤️ just one thing I wanted to ask, is it possible to do it without any trekking company? Have you done it without them? Or have you seen anyone doing it on their own?
Actually for permits you need some one local, if you can get hold of a local person..then you might. long back for har ki dun I have seen people do it like 5 years back, but I know for a fact if a Forrest official catches you without a permit they will force you to go back.
The most underrated trek vlog i have ever seen I just loved your shots and editing skill Wish you all the best for the upcoming treks Looking forward to watch new videos
Mainly because there was no slot at that time, secondly because I wanted to try out all the big organisations..and how are they different from one another. PS: the yellow tents were of Bikat adventures, IH didn't have a batch running at that time. 🙂

Great presentation. Just one question Which shoe you used during the trek , how good is the grip in wet surface ?
I used SH500, pretty good grip wise and good waterproofing, and for snow I used microspikes over it so no problem grip wise on snow
Amazing
