Thanks buddy for commenting here 🙌 it was great meeting you after this expedition. Cheers.
I loved the amount of humility you guys have towards climbing. Many people underestimate the mountains far too much or do not pay them the respect they deserve when you climb them. Doesnt matter if its Everest or a trekking peak, like you mentioned, If you are not humble, the mountains will humble you. I will be attempting to summit Pangarchulla this summer, my first ever peak after many years of trekking. Congrats on sumitting KY2
Hello, thank you very much. We have always wondered how tiny we are in front of these gigantic mountains.
Happy climbing and all the best for Pangarchulla.
And not when I'd come to die, discover that I'd not lived. 🙌
Thank you very much 🙏🙌
Doing Expedition with Group or Guides is Different thing,But making an Own Expedition is Different and Made Successful is Totally Next Level thing.......Making Each and Every elements in Proper way. Really Appreciate your Journey & Was So informative.

Thank you very much 👍
This is the single best trek documentation I’ve ever seen on RUclips. Amazing. Thank you so much. I’m planning to climb KYII next month. Extremely helpful. Also, big congratulations on your highest climb! I’d love to follow you on insta if y’all share your trek stories there as well
Thank you very much bro. You must cross verify now coz they might not allow you to climb due to the Covid situation. But if you are already in Ladakh, then I think no one can stop you. Definitely my insta is saimukunda3.
This is insane treak route
You're taking me next time you go. Amazing job guys! Exploration done right! :D
Congrats buddy !!!!
Thank you
Congrats on the summit!! Enjoyed the short documentary.
I wanted to know :
1. The level of fitness needed for 6000mts.
2. Did you/any of your crew use oxygen cylinder for final sumit day?
Currently i can squat 60kg & bench 70kg for 10reps. Cardio is a bit weak, i can probably cover 5km in 40 mins.
No we didn't use any oxygen cylinders. Looks like carrying a backpack wouldn't be an issue for you. But you need to work on cardio. The ideal way to approach this cardio part is to concentrate on going long distances in terms of time.
The level of fitness would
1) at least to complete two high altitude treks above 15000 feet.
2) It would be great if you ran/walk/hike for more than 1.5hours
3) Carry a backpack and climb stairs for 90 mins
4) work on stability, flexibility and breathwork. I think this would standard and would work best. Cheers. You can always dm me on instagram - Sai Mukunda or saimukunda3
@@saimukunda6 I have done 2 treks of 14000ft about 3yrs back.
But in my current condition and based on what you described, i need to focus on stamina for long cardio.
Thanks bro for the tips!!
Wow! just wow! The video portrays pure experience you had lived through while climbing freagging 20000ft! And beautifully edited to show that! great work man!
Sir nimma ashirwada jenukallalli sigithu. 🙌that's why I could do it.
Amazing guys....wow..!!! How to do this trek..if u can provide little insight
Congratulations! And what a wonderful film!
Thank you very much
Congratulations u done it in alpine style
I motivated a lot after ur alpine style
Thanks man. Cheers
Great video man 👍 Could you not get meals at the KY basecamp?
Hopefully the streams are not raging like that in September, this is when I'm planning to go. And yeah, not looking forward to hauling 25kg above 5000m 😵💫🙄 I did that in 2018 carrying all my own gear up to Stok base camp.
Thank you, No that wasn't possible coz very few people were there. September might have a different kind of weather. I think it will be a good time to head to KY2.
Amazing sai beautiful man to see those mountains wow just no words to express the feeling thank you again congrats to whole team wonderful bro Abhinav amazing editing man 😊👍
Thanks Vishwas. Yeah this wouldn't have been the same without Abhinav and Abhinandan.
Humility👌🌄
Wow..nothing like experiencing it first hand... and watching the experience is the best preparation.. Thanks a lot bro.. KY II is next on my list and your video has helped a lot... Cheers...

Thanks man. Oh all the very best. Well just prepare well and acclimatize. Drink lots of water. Work on breath control with weighted backpack.
Nicely edited. What all gear did you take to shoot? congratulations!!! definitely inspiring
Thank you. I had a Nikon D5300 , NikonP900 , GoPro Hero 7 Black.

Wow...Awesome job.. sai , vivek and Nishanth... Watching the experience was just beautiful...!!!
Saab! Jai Hind! Thanks buddy. 🙌
Beautiful Video and climb. I feel every step en route to the summit. How did you guys managed the navigation aspect. I mean did you followed a map or had a local guide with you.
Thank you very much. We had a map with us plus we used offline maps.
Woow just awesome 😱😱 the views are breathtaking and mesmerizing .... every trekker should try it once in their lifetime.....😊😊 Btw, the initial river crossing was a bit scary😓
Thank you Deepthi. Yes the landscape of Ladakh is a treat to the eyes. You should definitely try this out. We crossed the river at a time when the snow melts the most hence the high tide in the river and yes it was scary and cold.
Inspiring brother
And well shot and edited
And poetry at last totally next level ✌
Thank you very much. Really appreciate the kind words.
Bumping across this video was a beautiful coincidence. You guys made all us viewers feel and experience the journey through mere smart displays. Such experiences are rare to find and feel.
More power and love to the entire team. Looking forward to living through your future journeys. All the very best! ❤😄

@@saimukunda6 keep the awesome videos coming bro!
Awesome.. Very Inspiring👌
Thanks again brother. 🙌
Brother I'd like to connect with you as I'll be doing the summit this year
well done guys.........did you have experience of climbing before you done this trek?
Thank you. Yes we had prior training in mountaineering.
Hey! This was really nice, thanks.
I have two questions:
1. Which month did you do this climb? Was very interesting to see the area beyond Chogdo filled with streams. When I went 6 years ago, the stream was dried up.
2. I think you mentioned in the beginning that you also climbed stok. In your experience, which among the two was harder?
Thank you.
This was in the month of August 2019. That's insane. At our time of approach, there was massive glacier flow.
I definitely feel KY2. Because of the approach. But Stok had a toughness to it as the mountain wasn't visible from the base camp itself.
@@saimukunda6 Interesting! Also, can you tell me the specifications of the camera you used? Looks very cool. I will be doing KY2 next month and want to get something like this. Thanks!
Ya sure! All the best for your climb.
For the night photography? Shutter - 30sec , F 2.8, ISO - 640.
If you want to climb Mount Yunam, you can join us.
@@saimukunda6 Hey, no. I haven't really filmed my treks before so I am curious about the camera. Was it a go-pro?
And thanks for the invitation. Unfortunately, just one trek this year. Maybe another time :)
GoPro Hero 7 , Nikon D5300 and Nikon P900, iPhone SE.
No problem. Next time.
Can I know how yu shoot the whole video what yu used 🥺🥺nd also.plz tell me the budget required to climb this 🥺
Congrats on the journey you guys.. Loved every second of the movie
Thanks Chirag. We really appreciate the words man. Thank you.
Awesome guys 👍
Anvesh bro, thank you. 🙌
Lovely picturization of your endurance !!! How much difficulty level did you face..like to know...were you totally prepared before going in terms of physical level
Thank you 🙏 It was pretty tough. Yes we were well prepared and well acclimatized.
@@saimukunda6 I'm planning for 17 th July.... reason why i asked. Anything you recommend i can do right now.thanx
Oh that's amazing. With less than one month to go, my suggestions would be to do a lot of breathing exercises apart from Yoga. Start drinking a lot of water 10 days before you head to Leh. Are you doing it by yourself or with a trekking company?
@@saimukunda6 Going with local company..
Yes , doing cardio, yoga and started with running.. Surely have less of time on hand😑
Thanks for the tip regarding Water👍
Congratulations! What was the altitude when you wore the crampons?
Thanks mate! Roughly 5750m
Good sai👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Prince bhai 🙌 Next time if any climbing projects are there for shooting, please recommend me 😂
Kudos!
Dr! Learnt all the medicines from you only and how to survive if I get loose motions 😂🤘
Killer sir. 👍
Thank you sir, you have been an inspiration in this journey.
