I loved the amount of humility you guys have towards climbing. Many people underestimate the mountains far too much or do not pay them the respect they deserve when you climb them. Doesnt matter if its Everest or a trekking peak, like you mentioned, If you are not humble, the mountains will humble you. I will be attempting to summit Pangarchulla this summer, my first ever peak after many years of trekking. Congrats on sumitting KY2

Thank you very much bro. You must cross verify now coz they might not allow you to climb due to the Covid situation. But if you are already in Ladakh, then I think no one can stop you. Definitely my insta is saimukunda3.
Vivek told this story to us in our summit day at Goechala trek , that was the first time I heard this name kang yatse and reliving that moment with you videography made my day 😍😍😍 , # nostalgia # congratulations # Keep trekking
Woww...from the 1second to the last, my eyes just did not seem to move anywhere else...such a fantastic piece of creation..bang on. Also...to add spice..insane humour...that is what makes Sai...Sai!...and Vivek...Vivek! In this time of lockdown, I am feeling so rejuvenated right now! Thanks for making this video...loved it! Looking for more in the future!

I can imagine that u have made this vlog in such difficult situations, hats off to you guys also great respect for you and that point where you had less amount of food made me sad 😞
Great video man 👍 Could you not get meals at the KY basecamp? Hopefully the streams are not raging like that in September, this is when I'm planning to go. And yeah, not looking forward to hauling 25kg above 5000m 😵💫🙄 I did that in 2018 carrying all my own gear up to Stok base camp.
Thank you, No that wasn't possible coz very few people were there. September might have a different kind of weather. I think it will be a good time to head to KY2.
Wow...Amazing documentary, makes me want to work so that I can do the same someday :) I was pleasantly surprised to find my trek leader of my first trek, Vivek sir, here...

Congratulations boys good job!! Very well captured too. I am thinking of doing it next year. Any suggestions? I just did everest base camp and three passes. So I wanna try a 6000er next
Bumping across this video was a beautiful coincidence. You guys made all us viewers feel and experience the journey through mere smart displays. Such experiences are rare to find and feel. More power and love to the entire team. Looking forward to living through your future journeys. All the very best! ❤😄
Such an amazing experience. Such an amazing video. I will be leaving for Kang Yatse 2 in November - December 2022 with a group. Will be training for next 2 - 3 month. First Time climbing a 6000er. Any Tips Sir!! 🙏 🙏🙏🙏
Congrats on the summit!! Enjoyed the short documentary. I wanted to know : 1. The level of fitness needed for 6000mts. 2. Did you/any of your crew use oxygen cylinder for final sumit day? Currently i can squat 60kg & bench 70kg for 10reps. Cardio is a bit weak, i can probably cover 5km in 40 mins.
No we didn't use any oxygen cylinders. Looks like carrying a backpack wouldn't be an issue for you. But you need to work on cardio. The ideal way to approach this cardio part is to concentrate on going long distances in terms of time. The level of fitness would 1) at least to complete two high altitude treks above 15000 feet. 2) It would be great if you ran/walk/hike for more than 1.5hours 3) Carry a backpack and climb stairs for 90 mins 4) work on stability, flexibility and breathwork. I think this would standard and would work best. Cheers. You can always dm me on instagram - Sai Mukunda or saimukunda3
@@saimukunda6 I have done 2 treks of 14000ft about 3yrs back. But in my current condition and based on what you described, i need to focus on stamina for long cardio. Thanks bro for the tips!!

Thank you Deepthi. Yes the landscape of Ladakh is a treat to the eyes. You should definitely try this out. We crossed the river at a time when the snow melts the most hence the high tide in the river and yes it was scary and cold.

Lovely picturization of your endurance !!! How much difficulty level did you face..like to know...were you totally prepared before going in terms of physical level
Oh that's amazing. With less than one month to go, my suggestions would be to do a lot of breathing exercises apart from Yoga. Start drinking a lot of water 10 days before you head to Leh. Are you doing it by yourself or with a trekking company?
@@saimukunda6 Going with local company.. Yes , doing cardio, yoga and started with running.. Surely have less of time on hand😑 Thanks for the tip regarding Water👍
