    What is the use of soaked pumpkin seeds and then roasted it dry? Gone are the nutrients and the wasted time in preparing it.

    It has also pangamic acid (vitamin B15) and laetril (vitamin B17) in high amount with respect to the human body. But these substances are considered controversial and are not justified as useful medications such that they are banned in many countries. (For more information, see Wikipedia.) However, some natural healers say that pumpkin seeds can be useful nutrients for cancer patients given in a moderate dosage.

    One shouldn't hasitate to buy salted pumpkin sheeds once he intends to soak them in luke-warm water for 6 hours before eating them. Salt is necessary for preservation against microbes.

    "Ask yoiur DOCTOR???"Are you for real? Medical students, if they are lucky, get maybe one half hour lecture on vitamins and nutrients throuout their training. Just look at the slop they serve in hospitals. They know less about nutrients tha the average health minded person. Any question on nutritients or healthy eating habits usually get the same response "Anything in moderation." Even if they DO know, they are usually reluctant to give such advice for fear of losing their license by not rigorously following "Commonly accepted standards of medical practice."

    What about pumpkin seed oil taken internally and/ or externally, used on hair?

    • @HealthyHealingLife
      @HealthyHealingLife  2 часа назад

      Great question! Pumpkin seed oil is rich in nutrients like zinc and essential fatty acids, which can promote hair health when taken internally. Applied externally, it may help moisturize the scalp, reduce dryness, and enhance shine. It’s a versatile oil that can be beneficial for both hair and overall wellness!

      @HealthyHealingLife  16 дней назад +1

      That’s awesome you include pumpkin seeds in your diet! Roasted seeds are fine too, just try to avoid adding too much salt or oil. Roasting can slightly reduce nutrients, but it makes them tasty and easier to digest, so it’s a good trade-off. Keep it up!

    So roasted seeds is bad then......🙄🙄

    • @HealthyHealingLife
      @HealthyHealingLife  16 дней назад +3

      Great question! Roasting seeds can reduce some nutrients, but it also enhances flavor and makes them easier to digest. Moderation is key, raw seeds often retain more nutrients, but roasted ones are still beneficial if not overly salted or processed!

  • @JohnWatson-p2h
    @JohnWatson-p2h 14 дней назад +3

    This video is false..... zinc is an essential nutrient found between the shell and the kernel of pumpkin seed.

    • @HealthyHealingLife
      @HealthyHealingLife  14 дней назад +2

      Thank you for your comment! To clarify, the majority of zinc in pumpkin seeds is concentrated in the kernel, not the shell. According to studies, the kernel (the edible part inside) is rich in zinc, magnesium, and other essential nutrients. While the shell does contain some fiber, it is not nutrient-dense and can be difficult to digest for many people.
      Eating shelled seeds ensures better nutrient absorption and avoids potential digestive discomfort caused by the fibrous shell. This is why I recommend eating pumpkin seeds without the shell for optimal health benefits. I appreciate your input and encourage further discussion backed by facts!

    Can this hurt your kidney if you have kidney problem?

    • @HealthyHealingLife
      @HealthyHealingLife  19 дней назад +3

      Great question! Pumpkin seeds are packed with nutrients, but if you have kidney issues, it’s important to be cautious. They are high in potassium and phosphorus, which might not be suitable for certain kidney conditions. I recommend consulting with your doctor or dietitian to determine the right amount for your specific health needs. Your health always comes first!
