4:23. I didn't realize this at first but have you noticed how Finn doesn't even try to swim back up, he was fine with dying after losing his dad.
He did so much to find him (heck it involved Prismo getting killed) and it was all pretty much for nothing. This kid needs a break. He's been through so much recently :(

I think it's gone down in quality steadily since about season 4 or so. It does have a few decent ones here and there, but most of them are completely bland and forgettable at best, and awful at worst. It's just gotten tonedeaf. It tries to be somewhat serious, but also just a little bit goofy like it used to be, and ends up at this awkward, boring in-between. As sad as it is to say, it needs to just die at this point (actually should have ended a couple years ago before it fell so far from grace)

Adventure Time shouldn't end abruptly, just because cartoon network starts a new era. This show needs its proper run time to further unfold the story with much more detail and story. I don't want to see this show end because less people watch it now, I've grown up with this show and it haunts me to think this will later this year.
Yeah I was SO dissapointed when they rushed the regular show ending I felt really sad because it was one of my favourite shows and deserved a fleshed out ending. It really isn't an exaggeration when people say cartoons these days are bad sure you'd find some gems in the pile but there isn't a wide selection *sigh*

When you realize there will be a point where Finn will die and the rest of the world including the candy kingdom will continue to develop until the world ends again. Finns tree house will grow forever, the candy kingdom will grow into a city, marceline will live forever to the point of forgetting everything that's not relevant, and the ice king will go about his business.

That part with finn, he broke his right arm, but when he fell into the water, his left arm was the one that was gone.
He just stayed there because he lost motivation. He had nothing to lose, nothing to gain. He didnt just lose his arm, he lost his inspirations. First it was bubblegum, then flame Princess, but when both didn't work out, he finds inspiration in finding his biological father, who ran away and caused his arm to break off.

All that I thought of in one small song. Because the Land of Ooo is a wonderful, magical place. Full of life after a large amount of death. So what happened to them? What wiped them out?

She's deathless as a vampire. She ages as a demon, suuuuuuuuper slowly, but doesn't have any healing powers. As a vampire she has super healing 'cause she absorbed it from the moon, who couldn't even die to staking. Marceline can only die to sunlight and starving to death from a lack of red, 'blood', because vampire. We've seen her suffer to those before so we know those work.
She could have absorbed souls to survive though, I guess.

im crying right now. adventure time is everything to me… it may seem like a kid show but it's so much more than that. it's deep and meaningful and really just beautiful - in a sad kind of way. i'm going to miss it so much. i love finn and jake and the land of oo. i always will ♥︎
This show was deep and revolutionary on another level. Unlike really any other show that I know, it grew with you and got more deep and mature as the children watching did too. When we were young we enjoyed the crazy silly adventures, when we were teens we understood princess cookies reasoning for wanting to end it, when we were near adults, we could fully appreciate how good of a character ice king was and how his craziness was the shows way of trying to shed lite on people affected by mental illnesses. There will never be another show quite on the same level adventure time was, and I know I was born in the right generation because I got to experience this. ❤️😢

Simon’s crisis from a sane man of science to a magical insane warlock is so complex for a Cartoon Network show. The transformation was subtle and humane for its situation, losing his grip on humanity... it was really depressing. Marcie desperately trying to at least bring a little bit of him back was so surreal, like trying to relate to a long lost friend or loved-one gripping their memory with a disease or something. I’m thoroughly impressed that the creators of this show made such an effort and you can tell this has meaning. What an amazing show.

Honestly, I’ve always found Martin to be a sad character. He’s incapable of remembering his past and who his son and wife are, and Finn and Minerva continue believing he abandoned them when he was out at sea, when really he was trying to protect them
The LSP moment and Martin no longer caring about his son due to brain damage were really depressing, but nothing beats Simon's entire character arc.

He just seems way to self-serving and antisocial for me to connect with. Even princess Bubblegum herself, who has many quasi-sociopathic tendencies, still care about others and tries to connect with them, i.e. the Lemonhope song.
IceKing’s life is so damn messed up. I really hated that Betty died and Simon got alone again. He never got a break. 😭

Ice king is such a good character. And after thinking about it I think his obsession with princess stemmed from his nickname for Betty which was princess, and although he didn’t remember her he internalized it. He is so complex.

The Saddest moment Is when it all Ended
For the 7-15 year olds saying in the comments saying “why are you crying to a kids show you’re so stupid” no we aren’t, one theme from this show is two survivors from WW3, trying to survive the post apocalyptic landscape they live in. Sounds like such a good story for kids.

I actually feel a little bad for that woman,(I’m talking about PB’s actress, Hynden Walch.) because with the crazy amount people on the Internet saying that Princess Bubblegum is evil and hating her, it must’ve been a pretty rough ride for Hynden. Because she says that she isn’t evil, but they all completely deny what she says, most infamously Carl Lucas. This guy just cannot respect opinions. He never understood why she actually did these things. He misses the point of Fubblegum and calls her a groomer, and claims that Gumbald did nothing wrong, which is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Since he is a villain. Also, he says that as of Distant Lands, she “learned nothing” which is bogus, I’m gonna list some signs she has changed:
1. She chooses to live with Marceline instead of her kingdom.
2. She doesn’t commit genocide anymore. (the reason she killed all of the Rattleballs is because they were becoming to violent.)
3. Her mean attitude lowered down.
4. The real reason she spies on her friends and kingdom is because she wants them to be safe.
And to make matters worse, Ooo Investigator made a video defending Princess Bubblegum (My favorite video on his channel.) and debunk Carl’s video. Now, I really want to address this part to you because it shows you that Carl Lucas can’t handle criticism. In the comment section of that video, you can see Carl Lucas pelting people in the comment section, along with Ooo Investigator, with rude comments, and said that we’re “defending genocide” and never shuts up about his video, and his comments actually made me angry. Because he was TROLLING THOSE PEOPLE WHO DISAGREED WITH HIS VIDEO!!!!
Carl refuses to admit that he was wrong about Princess Bubblegum. And writes one EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL comment saying:
“Good luck looking unhinged defending her”, which is so heartless and disrespectful of him so say. This show has made me cry and cry about the love between Simon and Marceline and it then makes me more sad that they loved each other so much and since marceline spent so long trying to take the crown of him, and when she’s failed he can’t remember her when she finds him in pure happiness. And later in the series he turns into his original self for 1 hour and Marceline never leaves him. That is what I call true happiness towards Simon

I actually created a character that was a kid like marcy before the war and survived and met simon and marcy. His father worked with simon and he accquired means to learn and use magic and gained immortality. He spends his life trying to attain knowledge and power and it becomes his curse for a thousand years. Its a fan fiction character. He eventually creates a kingdom that teaches everything from human knowledge and magic as well with a council represented by all kingdoms and major factions.
