The issue of the M95 ammo is not only the brass is hard to find, but also you need a .330 projectile for the accuracy. And as far as I know, only the PPU is making them.
I believe Steinel Ammo recently started producing it as well, but you’d have to order from their website. Never tried their 8mm Steyr but they make excellent vintage Italian and Japanese ammo
@@GreatNorthwestWeaponry If they sell projectiles, I will go have a look, I’m in another country and impossible to get the live ammo by myself. Anyway appreciate for your info. For styer, I prefer the original 8x50R, easier to get the brass from Russian rounds and long rifle always give a better accuracy. And in my country, the original m95 can be certified as “ Antique “, which is good 😊
Man, that mannlicher threw some serious fireballs. I have an M.95 carbine, as well as a K11, I just gotta find some 8x56mmR for the mannlicher and I’m golden
I’m definitely biased when I say this but I without a doubt adore the Mannlicher 95. I’ve got a Steyr long rifle that got converted in Bulgaria, all matching and is a beauty, plus the action is just too smooth for my own good kek.
Haven’t had the chance to make any videos in a while unfortunately. Took January off intentionally, got injured after and couldn’t hold a rifle for a couple months, then the Oregon weather just sucked. Hoping to get out and make some new content soon 👍🏻
