just to beat you to it, yes i should be wearing my chainsaw trousers and no.. i no longer fit in them 😂 should have checked that first haha. Enjoy the vid.
I missed this originally. The art of cabin building is fascinating. From the world around you, construct a rock-solid shelter that withstands falling trees, hurricanes and storms. Grats too Andy on your sub numbers, that's astonishingly good! Atb x
Wow, Real life Lincoln logs! This is Incredible and I can't wait to see you finish this shelter. You had to be exhausted after this stage of the build. Thanks for sharing this video Andy. Love what you do Mate!!
This video and the whole process is just amazing to watch, combined with the fact that in all of your videos, you make your audience feel part of the experience and your happy, friendly presentation style makes all of your videos a joy to watch. Thank you for posting and please keep it up.
Utter genius ANDY. The time, skill and effort involved just to start a build like this in itself are to be commended. Your back must have been breaking? Really enjoyed this video, onto number two now.
Thanks for sharing a great video Andy the shelter will look absolutely amazing when it's finished I'll be watching part 1 to the finish can't wait to see the finished shelter , thanks Andy for sharing your video 👍 👏
Wow. You are a man of many God given talents. One of the things I like about you is, you don't mind sharing them to help someone else be better. That says a lot about you sir. That's why I love watching your videos and telling other people about your shows. Many props from me sir Andy!
Always a joy to watch Andy.. much talent in his camping cooking and hut building.. when my son reaches a age he can watch and understand what he's looking at, I want him to watch Andy at work.
Great video.. Even greater when watching this with my kids during our Aidilfitri celebration for us Muslims all over the world, after a month of fasting.. Thanks a lot Andy.. Greetings from Malaysia...
It's just incredible what beauty, what atmosphere you were able to create. This is truly a meditative experience watching you. I myself started making videos about my adventures, so I'm interested in everything. Grretings from Belarus tourist. ✌️
epic mate.....hope its not far away from the smoker!!!......a much underused build for a food lover lol......cant wait for part 2 next week and all that's to come in the future👍👍
Love this build already! I've spent so much time in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern NY State, so the Adirondack in the title had me excited right from the start. Although, your videos are pretty much always great no matter what. When you clean out those notches, save that wood it's awesome for re igniting a shouldering fire.
I saw your cabin in a thumbnail for what must have been part 3 but when it mentioned part one and two, I immediately clicked to watch part one because I wanted to see it from the ground up so to speak. First time seeing your work. Your skill with the timbers is certainly impressive, but what I want to comment on is your video making. I make music videos and we can do as many takes as it takes to get the shots we want. I've also made some vids showing how I built a shop, a shed, a recording studio editing suite etc. but each time I did those I was in a hurry to finish the buildings so I could use them so the video suffered as a result compared to my music vids which I don't rush. I only said that because it helps you understand why I watch for someone's skill in editing and story telling etc. You did an excellent job on this video. Your changing of angles and points of interest and the flow involved in the story telling, just excellent. I'm constantly balancing my ADD with my OCD lol. But you kept my attention the entire 28 minutes the way you let it evolve. Kudos my friend. New sub here.
This is bloody brilliant Andy liking the way you’re just getting on with it, no dialogue and just thinking about the job. I slept in an Adirondack in Finnish Lapland woke up the next morning half eaten by mossies. Looking forward to part 2 really enjoy your videos.
Been waiting for this build Andy. Can't wait to see your progress but looking really good so far. And yes I was going to mention you should wearing the correct PPE but only cos I want to see the project finished! LOL
A fantastic video as always and it is nice to see something a little different. As you are using a chainsaw, I don't think anyone would mind you using a battery drill for drilling the holes😂. Huge respect though, this looks like hard work!
Wow Andy!! What a great build . It takes alot of work and knowledge to build a cabin like this . Putting thos logs together must be so satisfying. I cant wait to see what's next . Great video as always Andy! Take care and stay safe my friend !
Andy, this is/was interesting to watch, informative for us, and very well edited. Nice work. We are informed by, and accept the safety notes that have appeared, too.
Oh Yes that is gonna be a fantastic build project and all credit to you. Really looking forward to viewing your progress. Roll on the your mega camp fire cook ups, they are always brilliant. Best Wishes From Chester 👍
This can lead to so many videos, during and after and really show off your skills, good call here, extensions, hot tub, smoke house, log shed, fireplace, wood carving etc etc etc
just to beat you to it, yes i should be wearing my chainsaw trousers and no.. i no longer fit in them 😂 should have checked that first haha. Enjoy the vid.
I burst my belt today, the shame, I know where you're coming from😅😅
no, safety is out
Takes a big man to admit his chainsaw trousers no longer fit....LOL. I love your Videos Andy
Why did you make the initial 2 little cuts first before cutting out what was needed
And a full face safety mask !!
Him cracking the wood is so satisfying!
You had me hyped up for this one Andy! I'm looking forward to following the progress.
Cheers Dave.. me too haha
Watching you build my favorite camping shelter is truly an honor!! ❤
I missed this originally. The art of cabin building is fascinating. From the world around you, construct a rock-solid shelter that withstands falling trees, hurricanes and storms. Grats too Andy on your sub numbers, that's astonishingly good! Atb x
Fantastic! I love watching this type of video. Self explanatory, no commentary needed!
Wow, Real life Lincoln logs! This is Incredible and I can't wait to see you finish this shelter. You had to be exhausted after this stage of the build. Thanks for sharing this video Andy. Love what you do Mate!!
protective glasses would be nice azwell
This video and the whole process is just amazing to watch, combined with the fact that in all of your videos, you make your audience feel part of the experience and your happy, friendly presentation style makes all of your videos a joy to watch. Thank you for posting and please keep it up.
Love all critics. Me I think you did a great job and I trust that someone who can build knows what they are doing and I trust your judgement.
This looks really good Andy. I cannot wait to see part two :) Nothing beats an old school shelter in the woods. Cheers from Denmark!
Thank you Martin

Wow. You are a man of many God given talents. One of the things I like about you is, you don't mind sharing them to help someone else be better. That says a lot about you sir. That's why I love watching your videos and telling other people about your shows. Many props from me sir Andy!
