Super Shelter Building Under the Rock, Camping in the Rain, Bushcraft, Underground House

- Hello everyone!
This video is about how I dug a shelter under a rock and made walls out of split logs. To build the shelter, I used simple hand tools such as an axe, saw, shovel and hammer. You will also see how I used a natural hole in the rock where I made an excellent oven, and prepared a nice meal outdoors. My stay in the forest lasted 3 days, spending the night in a shelter with light rain was another interesting adventure. The dog and I had a great time.

Watching your videos is the perfect way to relax. I always love watching people build things, but not having to talk about everything they do. Makes it easier for me to relax, when I get all hyper from my adhd. Would have loved to do this myself, but due to different illnesses, I will just dream through your building instead

Reminds me of the time some buddies and I went camping at rocks like those. I pitched a tent in a flat spot, while they started their fire and just put their sleeping bags under the rocks. Halfway through the night a boulder that probably weighed several hundred pounds broke loose and landed right in their fire. Luckily, no one was hurt. I'm always wary of building a fire under rocks.
I'm glad you didn't get hurt! I pay attention to such things, and the stone I used for the wall had fallen off, so he made me pay attention to that.

Ancient people used these overhangs as well. I have found arrow heads, knives , and spear points, sifting through the dirt under them.

This was a fabulous building under the rock ledge. Can be used lots of times. Protection from the rain, snow and wild animals. Great job!!

@@luxonbushcraft thought it was a fantastic idea. Building under a rock ledge. Do you ever worry about sasquatch/Sabe' while traveling through old growth forest? They are real living beings. They can hear the hammering you do during construction of the bushcraft shelters.

To be honest, when I first saw the video and came to it, I was amazed at what you're doing. Then as an American, I began to wonder as to whether the camo pants were a sign that you might be one of the crazies we have here. Not crazy that they do bushcraft, but that they and their fans are religious and military psychos. I am SO glad I researched your channel and fans before deciding to leave. I don't want to give views and support to people who actually want to kill me because I'm a liberal pacifist, who like you loves building shelters and cool stuff in the woods.

Love the shelter and how it fits in with surrounding area. The one thing you didn't do was vacate all the critters before you built. I would have gotten some sticks, dry weeds, etc and lit them on fire with some green stuff for lots of smoke and drove everything out of there. Could be a huge nest of black widow or anything actually. Location is outstanding with fresh water etc. Nice job on shelter.

Used to work at Homestake gold mine in Lead, SD. Your timber job was not only practical but would probably withstand that huge rock breaking loose. Did some timber stoping at the 4400 ft level but spent most of my years on the 7400. Very good job of thinking it thru.
