Welcome. There’s a great set of videos courtesy of Andy, most of them with his cheerfully laid-back self giving us a great camp out ride along. He seems fond of Monty Python so he’s alright.
As I've written under other of your video's, I'm one of thousands of frequent and older viewers. I find your videos both informative and relaxing. I love to sit back every night and watch your videos before bed. May I propose an evening chat held on RUclips sometimes between you, and we fans? A moment to reflect on your videos, answer questions and simply say hello? I'd also like to propose a group for some of us called "grannies for Andy!" This group consisting of older gals who can't camp as you do but love that you do! Seriously, thank you for the videos. I very much enjoy them.
I’m 75 and am ready for a camping trip any day. Just helpful to have someone fit enough to help with the baggage😅. Otherwise I watch camping videos every night for hours on end. It’s addictive. I can almost smell the campfire and the steak on the charcoal grill. Then I go to sleep happy.
As an ex jungle soldier from the Aussie Army may I give you a tip? Don't wear a tight raincoat. It overheats and restricts you. It soon lets the wet through, both as rain and sweat. It doesn't keep your pack or sleeping gear dry. Rather sling a light, wide, plastic sheet like a cloak over your back and fasten it around your neck. This leaves your arms free and lets your body breathe. It also keeps your gear nice and dry. It can later be used to cover stuff at your camp that you need to leave outside your shelter. Cheers.
Yeah travel light.Dont leave the plug at home for the kitchen sink.Shame to here about soft boys in the army maybe pommys snuck in.Tip put salt dubbin on your boots minimise leaches
One think i love about you videos Andy (along with others like Simon and Mark) is that you dont try to hide your mistakes or problems. It adds an element of 'realness' and hepps others, like myself, to learn and not expect perfection when we try to emulate you. Thank you for your honesty! 👍

My current camping knives are a Mora Companion and one that I made myself. I would love to add a BPS to my outdoor itinerary. (Just saying')
Hi Andy, don’t stress about us when your videos don’t go to plan. It doesn’t bother us whatsoever, we’re grateful with whatever you produce. Keep up the amazing work! Love from Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺🐨🍻
I'm in. Kind of a funny story actually, my cat loves watching your videos with me. She comes and stares at my laptop and follows you on screen. Bird sounds, leaves rustling and such are a great bonus but I think she's just very interested in learning 😅🤣 I'm scared that if she ever gets lost, she won't come back home because she learned from you how to start a fire, make shelter and prepare food. Love from Poland ☺

I've been gradually building my wild camping gear so when my son and granddaughter visit in the New Year, we will do some wild camping in Devon and Cornwall 🙏❤
Been watching this channel for a couple of weeks now, I definitely enjoy it. And I must say, it's been giving me strong urges to get out of the suburbs and go camping again after a couple of years having not done so.
Same here! Now that I am older I can't find any friends who want to go camping. Unfortunately I have never been camping but hopefully when spring arrives I can drag one of my friends along that won't complain too much. I have to at least try this out a few times. 😊
I love your videos. I'm older and probably past the age where I can go camping myself without suffering joint pain for a month afterwards, so I live vicariously through your relaxing videos. Thanks so much. :)
Your vids are so calming and is making me miss camping so bad. Currently exam season for me so I don't have a lot of free time, so this is my camping escape
I'm in! Love your videos Sir! My lady and I watch them often and go back and watch older videos as well. You have inspired my lady to get out and give the woods a go. So thank you for that!
Hey andy. Just subscribed. Loving ya channel.. especially now its winter and ive been 'forced' to use my holidays! lol. A number of years ago, i was homeless for a year. I'm thinking of doing a few overnight videos to show how and where i used to sleep n how so many ppl are still doing! You could say you've inspired me brother! Keep up the good work.
IM IN! Good video. Very inspiring. I too have a little storm lantern like yours. I use citronella oil, as it burns well, but also keeps the bugs away in warmer months. Damn this hot snow we keep getting lately! All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧😉
Pick your site with the weather in mind. Choose an area with a down slope or dig a Shillong trench to divert the water for drainage. I only camp out with a couple of poncho’s and some para cord. My Bergen has room for rations, dry clothing in a bin liner, a sleeping mat, some old mess tins and mug, a bivvy bag, a machete and a lamp. I do like your saw though, so I may invest in one. Ok, I’m an ex squaddie and used to making the best in the area I camp out in. My Bergen ‘ go bag ‘ never changes. Snow storms, rain or hot summer days? It’s all the same to me. I’m now 70 years old and I camp out like I did in my 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. I camp out when I go sea fishing, or just to get back to nature. Have I had the odd cold night, the odd wet night? Of course I have, but that was due to bad camp site choice on my behalf. Anything I do, like heat reflectors gets dismantled so I leave no imprint on the land. I can’t understand using space in my Bergen for things like fire pits and saucepans. I love camping out. But when I change from roughing it to luxury I will knock it on the head.
IM IN ,loving the content and reviews of the items and gear you use , that does really help getting someone's honest opinion on thing's, if I had my license I'd be out and about travelling around the country trying different area's 👍🏻 keep up the good work ,oh and ps your meals look amazing 😁👍🏻 happy camping .
@@joseph1144-e6f thank you for the reply it means alot, just as I've seen this I'm watching another lol, great seeing you trying all these different item's and honest reviews,I've had a couple of wild camps local just with a tarp fire and perhaps some alcohol lol, great nights like we used to always do, I'd be happy to sit there all night warm cozy but my friend was a little drunk and wanted home so a late freezing wet walk home ,that fire was an all nighter nice n toasty a wish I spent the night ,saying that outside that it turned frosty without us knowing and really unexpected, really creepy tbh. Because when we got to grown lvl it was mild again no fog no ice and I'm talking only maybe metre's,all the years of camping I've never seen such conditions, still loved it if course .happy camping n thank you
You're just as much fun to watch as Les Stroud (Man vs Wild). You don't complain as much. We just have many dangerous animals to watch out for here in the U.S.
I just love your videos, especially the hot tenting. But i look forward to all of them? Simon & Mark, especially you are always having a laph, carry on camping together . It's much more exciting than watching repeats on the TV. 😂....

I'm in. That torch idea is slick. I need to try that.
Thanks Andy for amazing video enjoy watching you out Bushcraft and camping thanks Andy for sharing,
Thank you for taking us camping! Enjoy the outdoors and of course I'm in!

Love your videos Sir! My lady and I watch them often and go back and watch older videos as well. You have inspired my lady to get out and give the woods a go. So thank you for that!
I'm in ... Canada! Great content, Andy. I really enjoy your videos and seeing your marvelous country. Keep them coming!
Im in! Thx for the great vids Andy. I just recently found your channel and I'm really enjoying it.
Great work Andy. Love you work.
I'm in. Definitely could use that knife in March for my bushcraft outing.😮
Great looking knives. I'm in.
Thank you again for an excellent time out in the motherland! Great stuff - Cheers!
IM IN!
Good video. Very inspiring. I too have a little storm lantern like yours. I use citronella oil, as it burns well, but also keeps the bugs away in warmer months.
Damn this hot snow we keep getting lately!
All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧😉

Totally hooked on your videos.... So relaxing

Love watching your channel it’s my go to when I need cheering up
thank you for the video, excellent camping, nice food
Bless you; have a nice w/end ..... here's hoping u can camp sometime soon
Because when we got to grown lvl it was mild again no fog no ice and I'm talking only maybe metre's,all the years of camping I've never seen such conditions, still loved it if course .happy camping n thank you
I'm in. Hi Andy ,I am a big fan of BPS Knives and enjoy your videos. Thank you for your content. 🎯
You're just as much fun to watch as Les Stroud (Man vs Wild). You don't complain as much. We just have many dangerous animals to watch out for here in the U.S.
Bear Grylls 😊
I'm in. Me and my son love your videos.
And I'm his son.
I am in. I like the look of the knife. We do need to support our Ukrainian brother's and sisters.
I just love your videos, especially the hot tenting. But i look forward to all of them? Simon & Mark, especially you are always having a laph, carry on camping together . It's much more exciting than watching repeats on the TV. 😂....
