I do a lot of the same things as you :) I use the RX Voice Denoise instead of the spectral one. I compress the signal first (also using Broadcast) and then I use the limiter to bring up the level. For EQ I use the FabFilter Pro-Q 3, which is also crazy expensive, but just sounds great and has a gorgeous interface. At the Mix bus in Premiere I use the mastering plugin with the 'Subtle Clarity' preset with the reverb turned down. When I am done I export the audio as a WAV and load it in the RX 8 Audio Editor and use the Loudness Control with the 'Video Streaming Delivery' and the processing set to 'High accuracy', then I load the finished mixed track back into Premiere and mute all the other sound sources :)
This man does so much for people everything for free , other day i saw one RUclipsr selling course on what setup and editing he does and on the other hand this guy is doing it for free. 🙌
You are absolutely unmatched at explaining things in a way that is not only clear and understandable, but goes one step further - You teach us the fundamentals, and how to think about and approach the problems we encounter. Thank you so much for this, I've learned more in this one video than I did in the entire past year.
Man! You as a photoshop professional just delivered the most complete and basically best basic audio editing course for podcasts that I have yet to see from audio editing pros!
Other people reveal their setup and what kinda setup they use on their studio tour But Unmesh sir you are just a legend. You tried something else and teached us something very special to us and unique Thanks a lot sir this is what real teachers do🥰
I'm always impressed on how the most complicated problems are explained in such a magnificent way to be perfectly clear even for the dumbest of the dumbest. A natural born teacher. Congratulations one more time!
Oh my god, I was getting started on voice acting with a not so expensive microphone and I was looking for ways to fix problems in my recording and for thank god I found your video. It saved me hours worth of contents just condensed down to half an hour in just a regular piximperfect teaching style, love it!
Thank you, Unmesh. You keep a calm and relaxing voice tone throughout your videos, you go slow, no hypes, no squeaks or booms and your explanations are sublime. I’m very grateful for the time you dedicate to teaching us and sharing your know-how.
Your didactic keeps us from beginning to end of each video, no matter how long it is. I wouldn't expect less from you. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Wonderful video! A couple(ish) observations. 1. If you have an international audience, it's vitally important to have clean audio. If your regional accent doesn't match that of the listener, adding poor audio on top of that is a deal killer. I hear every word Umesh says perfectly, despite having a stronger American accent than his Indian one. 2. For those who don't have the fabulous plugins Unmesh does, a trick I like is to use Audition's Dynamics Processing effect as a noise gate, ahead of Audition's own noise reducer. Every little bit helps. 3. Room acoustics and control of environmental noise for the win!. Listen to Unmesh here. He speaks the truth. 4. My effects rack has turned out pretty similar to Unmesh's. Makes me feel validated. Doesn't mean that what I say makes any sense, just that you can probably hear it :-)
I hope Izotope see's this and should consider sponsoring you. Excellent work, sincere and honest. Thankyou for sharing. You are probably one of best content creators out there and all the best for all your videos.
Yup. That guy can explain anything. If all teachers were like him , the world would be in a better place. I almost never comment but damn , you have my respect sir. Keep up the teachings please , we need it !
I bought some mic which looks similar to yours, no research, I just saw it in a shop and I bought it to emulate ur setup for a clean audio. But when I recorded, my phone mic was better. Then I researched to add Phantom power to that, even then it didn't make a ton of difference. I thought, I just wasted my money down the drains and moved on. But after watching this video today, I understand that mic is just 10% important, and my cheap mic could be made to work like his. This video is incredible. People who have failed at audio will recognise how valuable his tutorial is and the effort he has put up just for this video..

Omg thank you so much for this video! Just a week ago I watched all day long many videos about it. I constructed about 5 presets for Adobe audition. I watch a lot of video from sound engineer/music producer on RUclips, and a lot (even world class professional) don't have that quality of sound you have. And sure, you got a great mic, great room, and also a great voice, but seeing how treat it, I see where the difference is.
