I consume a lot of RUclips and I am always looking for tutorials for various things. This has to be one of the best and most useful tutorials I have ever seen. Genuine tutorial with clear and replicable steps. Thank you so much.
Fantastic, and I have looked at a LOT of Podcast You Tube Videos. Thank fully I have have used Premier Pro in a past life at Capital TV (albeit not the latest version). Thanks, great video.
You didn't cover the step in which you filled L/R respectively for each audio channel? At one point in the video you can hear each subject's voice coming only from one channel and in the end that's different. What did you do for this? Thanks!
I got to the switch and cut part . Where I was pressing one , two and three for different angles to change the camera shot. But by the time I was done with the video it doesn’t save the angle change. What am I doing wrong 😢
On Windows I dragged and dropped from Windows Explorer into the media panel in Premiere. The dragged the elements into the timeline. The file format of the captured video can impact whether this works smoothly.
I can't see all of my videos when I put it in multi-cam mode. It just has the first video 2 times side by side. The number keys don't flip to the other video. What am I doing wrong??
Great video, but here's a question: How can we make the overall volume/eq/processing the same across the entire sequences after it's been chopped up? For _each_ person. I just have not found a video that shows or explains that well. Thanks for the video. 👍
Ooo. That’s an exciting question! Premiere has wonderful features for that. I will have to make a video about that. There’s an audio mixer panel that lets you insert plugins on each ‘track’ or ‘channel’. There’s also a stereo channel where you can apply limiters to the entire mix. Premiere comes with some EQ and Compression plugins, but an even better option are waves plugins and they are super easy to install and use with premiere. I’ll keep you posted if and when I make a video about this. Thanks for the question.
@@podsoundschool Thank you for replying. 💯 I use a few wave plugins in Audition, which I'm more proficient at. But couldn't figure this out in Premiere. I'll go have a look. 👍 _edit: I think I know what you mean. Apply the chain in the mixer for individual people and then have one master chain at the end._
How about the audio, in my case you can here the speaker 1's voice from the speaker 2's audio and vice versa. Is there a way to edit it fast and easy without the voice echoing on each other's mic/audio?
Hey I have a question. What lens and camera did you use for the video your editing? When I zoom in on person who is talking its starts to get blurry and out of focus. Using a 16mm 2.8 Sony lens. Also should I set the camera to manual. Because the auto focus keeps going in out like it can't focus on two people talking
Hey Chris, good questions. We use the 35 mm Sony lens for this video and with the auto focus we use the flexible spot setting, which creates a little square frame that you can select a very small area to keep in focus, and when there’s two of us on camera together, I will just choose one of our faces(usually Veronica’s) to focus on. It can be a struggle cropping in or zooming in, are you recording in 4K?
Did anyone else have a problem where you can't hear sound at all when done adding all the effects? I've made sure all channels aren't muted and all of that. Wondering if it's a bandwidth problem on my laptop.
You are going to save me so much time that I feel like I owe you money .Thank you for this straight forward and efficient tutorial. If there’s any links where I can purchase anything to support your channel or products I’m definitely doing so right now.
Love this. I'm a new Podcaster with no editing experience. I was worried about getting camera angles but your video showed me very clever ways of using one camera set up which is awesome. I'll definetly use your full tutorial to edit my first Podcast. I'll come back and let you know how I go on.
I love this video, please can you do one specifically geared at video interviews which are recorded in Zoom as you end up with 2 audio files one for each speaker and 1 video file. How would you do the multi cam switch and cut in this scenario? It would be great to see how its all done in Filmora 12 or canva pro too. Thanks so much Have a wonderful day :)
Just when I thought I knew all the tricks in Adobe's bag, this video proved that even old dogs can learn new commands! 🐶💻 Thanks for the fresh insights!
I went through all the steps 1 by 1 even to creating a multi-camera clip with my 3 videos not the duplicates. What happened was I did not get a multi-camera clip I got a bin folder, what did I do wrong please, I was using a duplicate original file not the original file to start the whole process. Thank you for your wonderful videos they are a great help .
I agree it’s great content. And it only took me nine hours to get to the seven minute mark in the video. Lol there were a couple details left out that made this shit very difficult. There needs to be a video of adobe pro for computer illiterate dumb dumbs like myself. However, we’re up and going. Thank you
is there a setting Called Program*, its default is set to *Agressive TEwNice tutorialch is making that sNice tutorialtty static soft, change that one, once to
That’s pretty much ch what I do…however you can save a step and sync the audio when you create Multicam sequence. Just select the audio file along with the video files on the “create Multicam sequence” step. 😊
Thank you so much! I have a question, it is not allowing me to change the position from my cursor, I can only input numbers to change the position of the video to zoom in, how do I do it with my cursor instead like how you did it?

On Windows I dragged and dropped from Windows Explorer into the media panel in Premiere. The dragged the elements into the timeline. The file format of the captured video can impact whether this works smoothly.
