    I have to agree with Sneaker fiend. I've watched a lot of RUclips fade tutorials and this is by far the best and most simplest. For the "so called professional barbers'' just remember K.I.S.S
    KEEP
    IT
    SIMPLE
    STUPID!

    Solid step by step directions. I've seen mad videos on channels with 10 times as many subs just running through the cut without clarifying, or just skipping steps altogether. I subbed.
    Thanks!

    Yo, thank you for this video bruh.....I been cutting my own hair since I was a teenager but it be taking me maddddd long to finish yo. Use to be in the bathroom for hours. I tried yo technique today and it cut my cutting time down tremendously. I like how you broke it all the way down with the step-by-step instructions, and which guards to use & everything. I learned more from watching yo video than I have all this time I been cutting my hair myself. I been cutting it wrong all these years. I always wondered how to do certain fades and what angles to use but, its not like I could have gone into a barber shop and been like, "yo dog, how you do that?" Them barbers would've looked at me crazy and been like, "Nahhhh son, get outta here yo, go get cha 1500 hours" so this video man, was very helpful....thank you man, thank you again....keep doing what you do. ~ Peace.

    • @SugarShaneCuts

      +Jabali Simpson same for all, Andis Ultra Adjustable but any brand is good as long as the blade can go all the way flush and come up about a good 3/4 cm

    I wanna learn to do taper fades and this really helped alot (: thanks but does it matter how long you cut your hair? I cut mine with the 3 on top and 0 on the bottom which is the sides and the bottom of the back of my head? Plz help

    • @SugarShaneCuts
      @SugarShaneCuts  10 лет назад +1

      yeah u would start out like i start in this video with just the clippers and no guard on, and then you would increment the guard length up until it is double what you cut it at...for example if you cut the sides with a 0, then you would go from bare clippers up to a 1

    I have a question though ..lets say I want to leave my hair an 8 at the top and fade the sides just like you will it still look good or will I have to use a 3 guard or even 4 to blend it in to the 8? Thanks in advance

    • @SugarShaneCuts
      @SugarShaneCuts  10 лет назад

      If your hair is that long, you may have to use a higher guard like a #3, but you may be good with just the 2 or 2.5. You will have to lower the sides right above the fade like I do around time 7:30 in this video...but to make it work with longer hair like yours u will have to use like a number 7 and number 6 and 5 to make the transition from the long hair down to the faded part.

    • @SugarShaneCuts

      Yes just use the technique at 9:15 to blend it. You can also use the 1 guard to blend it this way also by using the corner of the blade.

    temple fade is the same as taper fade? and if you have short hair and get a temple fade do you have to tell the barber not to cut the top?

    • @SugarShaneCuts
      @SugarShaneCuts  8 лет назад

      they are used to mean the same thing. just have to make sure to tell barber to fade the neck area also if you want that. and if you don't want the top cut down you have to say that alsi
