hands down the best teacher along with the barber academy channel but david explains the process during a tutorial better than anybody !got me starting to really fade people up now 😉
David I always seem to get carried away when I’m blending say a come over on the blended side when I’m dealing with fine light Colored hair it’s like I keep chasing the weight line then take to much off. Any tips or tricks ?
@@DavidEscamilla153 ty bro i do flipped trimmer under 0 to blend shaver then clipper open then bump up with soft trimmer and under that i do trimmer normal way up to blend the flipped trimmer line to the soft trimmer then i do the middle open close to erase it, a lot of steps back n forth but that’s what separates good from great i guess, does that 0 to 0.5 make sense?
Great vid David. Really helpful. Question tho: why did u basically just go over the steps twice? Like when u were doing open no guard and open 1 guard again, I was kinda confused cus u did it already. Even the "fading up" after you just "faded down." Whats the purpose? Here to learn, not tryna be a smartass. Thank you! -barber student
That’s how it is with everything bro. Cutting hair, starting something new. It’s all scary but what’s more scary is regret and not attempting things you want to do.
@@DavidEscamilla153 I'm 17 years old, I'm thinking of starting to cut my family's hair, and I have a question, can I make a fade only with a guard because I don't have a machine with a lever

Basically making sure you blend every hair
Is there a difference from a drop fade vs a regular fade?
Just more dropped for a drop fade and mid fade is a lil higher in the baxk
