Fact, cut my own hair last week for first time took me 3 hrs to give myself a afro taper. Came out pretty good. People was shock I cut my hair so well.
Been cutting my own hair since I was 17, I’m now 27 and it’s been one of the best things I’ve learned. I encourage anyone that wants to try it to just buckle down and learn, of course there’s going to be some mess ups but this mans tutorials are clutch. Keep grinding everyone 💪🏾🏆
I'm with you @Beal Reactionz....I'm 43 years old and my cousin was is a barber taught me when I was 17....I used to make money in the dorms when I was in college. I have cut plenty of my friends over the years. More just me and my son now, but a skill that is necessary to have. Keep doing your thing💯

I'm 39. Been cutting my hair since I was about 10. You will definitely mess up but you'll learn so much. It's actually rather peaceful usually. Spiritual connection almost.
the most important thing i learned after cutting hair at home for the past 8 months is to take it slow and dont rush it...us all the guards slowly...i start with the 5 and slowly go to 0

Should’ve learned this skill during Covid was at its peak.
During the covid lockdowns was when I learned how to cut my hair, so many baldies lol.
I went thru that during the pandemic lmao, had to go bald twice 😂 (it was unredeemable). But practice makes perfect, I was rushing too much I guess, now I’m better at it. My side fades been valid since day 1 tho. I still cut my own hair since now a haircut is $30 and save that bag.

Thanks to you I started cutting my hair August 2020 and now a year later I'm pretty good at doing my cuts and fades. The hardest part to me now is lining up my temples. Getting that perfect angle is tough.
