Am I wrong, or am I seeing similarities to Xavier Rhodes? Tall, long arms, big hands, strength, likes to get his hands on you & make you uncomfortable, etc.? Rhodes definitely regressed, but he was a menace, and a true lockdown corner in 16/17, so the similarities are exciting. Not to mention, he landed underneath one of the best DCs in the league, so he's in a great position for success. Finally some excitement in the DB room!
@@slurender Haven't been this pumped up for a Vikings season since Favre stepped off the plane! Coaching staff: ✔️. Defense: ✔️. Offense: ✔️. Free Agency: ✔️. GM/Draft: ✔️. The one thing left that I think needs attention is the interior OL. If they get that sorted, look out. What a time to be a Vikings fan!
Similar build to Xavier Rhodes, anyone? Love a long, tall, in-your-face CB who's physical & doesn't shy away from contact. Flores is going to take this guy's game to the next level, just watch.
@@JoeTholelet's go! Flores is getting some NICE pieces in this draft. Turner is going to be a day one impact, and hopefully Jackson will be, too! I'm a big fan of tall, long, strong corners who like to jam, get their hands on you, make you uncomfortable during the route, and welcome contact. The fact that he excels at tracking the ball down field and breaking up passes, in addition to those other attributes, is exciting. I'm hoping that he looks like Xavier Rhodes circa '16/'17, but for a more prolonged period. An elite receiver is fun to watch, but an elite lockdown corner is even more fun to watch, for me. I hope he does big things with the Vikings!
@@anthonytobias5459 It's safe to say that Turner will be a turnkey, day one impact starter, but I have a great feeling about Jackson. I think he and Flores will be able to clean up his problem areas & he'll quickly become the best CB on the team.
There's a lot to like about him. Tall, long, good weight, ball instincts, aggressive, willing blitzer and run defender. His aggression is a double edge sword though. He gets pretty handsy and really walks a fine line between great coverage and pass interference. If he puts the effort and mind power into being more disciplined that will be great for his game. He's in good hands with Flores too, and you know Flores can't wait to run some CB blitzes with him.
My take on this guy is that he is amazing at run support and open field tackling. However he is WAY TOO handsy on receivers after 5 yards and at the next level that will be pass interference EVERY time! The good thing is that coaching can help him get rid of that bad habit.
This bad habit of grabbing and holding receivers definitely needs to be addressed by the coaches across the board especially from a younger age so these players can mature without those terrible habits. Hopefully your guy in Buffalo will get it together ASAP.
Well the falcons just gave th3 vickings everything they draft a qb and leave jj to us and dont take dallas meaning the vickings just got 2 studs and then dont take this guy man i love the falcons right now
Don't get me wrong. I'm a big Ducks fan, but at 67 years old, 6'2" and 270 pounds.. *I COULD HAVE MADE SOME OF THOSE DEFENSIVE PASS PLAYS!* (especially the interceptions. They were thrown right to him!) _In my opinion...If these are the 'Jackson highlights'?? The Vikings only got a mediocre defensive player with Khyree._ We won't be hurt losing him this year. *HOWEVER!!* They *DID* get the best QB in the draft with JJ McCarthy! (....and yes. I'm an even bigger Wolverine fan, and JJ will be missed in the lineup this season BIG TIME.) And lastly? I'm *NOT* a big 'Bama' fan, so I don't know much about Dallas Turner, but his numbers look good.
Dude unfortunately reminds me of KJ for the cowboys. AND, He is KJ. I for the life of me, hope he isn't. Dude has effort and athletic ability to do so. You see flashes of fire with some great awareness and quick reaction times. He's got the want for the game of ball. Watch Dan Quinn pick him up in the fourth haha 😄
Khy is had superb & unique talenf the only issue with him is behind the scenes issue far as his the perception..not a good look when some of his teammates, i know of :says be not good locker RM guy yikes
Skol! We needed that length and speed. He's a Viking
Came here immediately. LFG Vikes SKOL
Same 😂😂😂

Welcome to Minnesota big dawg 💪🏽
Dudes size is insane!!! Huge find for the Vikings and he well be welcomed with open arms by Brian Flores. He will get used correctly

This is one of my sleepers in the draft. There’s a place for a 6’3 corner that can find the ball on every team.
Steelers
Welcome to the Vikings 🫡

I’m glad they got defensive line help before getting a CB. I don’t like 1st round CB’s most of them end up being busts.

Vickin lucky enough to got him, he 'll be a pro baller. This Draft the football gods 're on the Vikes side.
A 25 year old 6’4” 200lbs CB is a steal in the 3rd round🗣🗣🗣💯
4th round. Even bigger steal.
This guy gonna be great on brian flores’ defense! SKOL💜💛💜💛
He completely relies on cheating, Richard Sherman jr
WELCOME TO MINNESOTA!
He's extremely aggressive with his hands. Length and speed. Love it #SKOL😈
Love to see him intercept Penix. SKOL
VIKING
Let’s Goooooo SKOL 😈
What’s that music at the end called?

i want this guy to go on the other side of Terrell in Atlanta so bad
Let's go Pats!
I’m liking how physical he is. What he lacks in foot quickness he makes up for in strength and ball skills
He’s a Raider!! 🤞🏽

Yeah that’s the problem we’re having with Kaiir Elam in Buffalo. Coaches have him wear boxing gloves in practice

Yea I agree, first 3 highlights would a been P.I. in NFL
Vikings DC Brian Flores will coach that out of him.
Skol!!!!!!!
i want atlanta to draft him with one of their 3rds
Well the falcons just gave th3 vickings everything they draft a qb and leave jj to us and dont take dallas meaning the vickings just got 2 studs and then dont take this guy man i love the falcons right now
Go gt em Pittsburgh
Vikings got a CB that can blitz. He's a big-time game changer and disruptive in the back field
Yeah he’s a Patriot alongside with with Christian Gonzalez 🔥👏🏾
SKOL!!!!
Coming to Atlanta
Minnesotaaaaaaa
Broken up by Khyreen Jackson! 👍 🏈
2:50 he got beat and recovered nicely. Under thrown pass but size helped him make that play
He needs to not get penalized in the nfl and he should succeed
The real Travis Hunter
I need him in Washington
Love the physicality but he is a little extra handsy Flores will sharpen him up! Going to be a nice addition to the scheme Skol!
SKOL got a baller
This guy will be put in blitz packages in Flores defense his first year until he can get his holding under control. Dude is sneaky?
Can we get Micah Abraham
Reddy Streward
Jairus Munroe
Rico Payton 11
He a Lil to hands on for me lol, that sh*t gonna get called in the league everytime. Hope we can clean that up
That's exactly what I was thinking! Some never unlearn that and fail miserably.
Steelers please dont sleep!!! Either Khyree or TJ Tampa!
Skol!!!
Excellent against the run, little handsy tho

Raven
Quack quack skol
He will have lot of penalties with his hands. Flores need to fix this. Very good though with his size and vision.
I love this pick but geeze he is handsy. He’s gonna get called for holding and PI all day in the nfl
love that hes a vikings, looks like he has the tools. Needs to work on holding from what it looks like though, NFL refs may call some of that stuff
He gets grabby but the talent is there Flores work with him he could be good
raiders in 4ht
Holds a lot but I hope he pans out for the Vikings
Dude unfortunately reminds me of KJ for the cowboys.

Nice to see we’re gonna be getting a ton of PI calls going for us…
Let's hope that in the NFL he learns not to be mugging receivers the entire length of the field...

Raiders round 2
I absolutely hate how handsy he is.
#bust
he is immature trash. Always in the penalty box. flags flags flags
Nice size. Ballhawk, great tackler. Only worry he might have a lot of holding calls and DPI calls in NFL. Skol Vikings Vikings
