ALL logos are ugly. They ruin the look. Manufacturers should be banned from putting logos on their products. Or: you give the customer the choice. Either without a logo at full price or much cheaper with the logo on it.
I used to remove all decals from my bike,get all the components in black spray paint my tire logos literally made it all black and the only color was my golden hubs it looks so simple and sweet ngl 😌
So companies cant put logos on there products unless there giving the person riding sponsorship? So basically all companies wouldn’t have logos except on there sponsored riders. You know how hard it would be to have a small company start up without flashing a cool logo on their products. Ontop of quality having a cool logo whether you like it or not brings the attention. How would companies survive if they just sponsored everyone because you feel like your repping there name you should be paid? How would bike brands sell bikes without logos?
I see this as a double edge sword hack. In one hand keeping the logo show you aren't driving $15 tires... On the other the logo show expensive tires to steal. In my opinion, hiding the logo make them look cheap brand. Which, i guess... like i said above make it less attractive to thieves.
Let's be real. This hack is for people running budget Continentals or Kendas. People running Maxxis rubber don't usually mind having that logo on their bikes.
Ever sinse i found that MAXXIS tire thrown away in the trash. I've seen cheap tires like absolute garbage. Why? Because i installed this half-worn out MAXXIS tire on my front wheel and it lasted me a whole 8+ years through winter and blazing hot summer and not a single crack appeared. But last year i had to change it before winter because the threads were literally gone in the center.
I have a video on removing rim branding so im happy to see there's options besides taking a dremel to your tires (which i did. Very lightly. And those tires were definitely torture tested afterwards.)
