Hi, I live in Ontario Canada and we have had those temps too.I'm 71 and don't remember anything like this winter.

Your turtles are really active tonight. They are moving from one side of the tank to the other. Never seen this before. I enjoyed your history about Snapping Turtles. Always interesting to listen to what you have to say about them. I am going to make another project bag or two first and then I will attempt making my first table runner. I had a land turtle when I was little, he was always wandering around the backyard! He wandered off once... took a couple of days to find him in the neighborhood! The alligator turtle looks scary!

Great video. Thank you for showing all the projects that you finished and are working on. The Flamingo floss you’re using is gorgeous, I have added the floss to my list. It makes me really upset that people would go out of their way to kill a turtle. Snapping turtles you have to be cautious with..but I’ll assist them so they can get over the curb and co to use on their way. My husband just retired from the Conservation Department I really appreciate that they have many programs to teach people about nature and the animals.

I will be playing your turtle talk for my grandchildren when they come home from school. We have an alligator turtle that comes threw our yard every year. I was cutting a quilt from Kim Dehl's new fabric as I watched your video, so enjoy seeing what you two are upto. Flamingo, turtle.

I enjoy the turtle swimming around in the background. We took a trip last Fall and visited JJ Stitches, Country Samplers, and many other shops. It was so much fun. Here in Michigan we haven't had much snow either. The trees are budding, but we'll probably get more snow since it's only February. Thank you for a great flosstube.

Excellent to know about snapping turtles…my husband would keep a hockey stick in his trunk and could use it to encourage the turtle away from the road. I love it when you two do the same stitch and they end up so different. The project bags with flamingo and turtle are fantastic.

I’m with Jeannie, I hope for some snow. There is a 60% chance we will get some this coming Monday here in southwestern Missouri. Keep your fingers crossed for us! I love English paper piecing. I’ve never seen a quilt that combined the stars and circular pieces like that, LeAnn. I really like it! I think I started one of those Star-A-Day quilt years ago. I am going to have to go dig it out. You two are gals so fun. You're into the same things as I am. Oh the quilts I need to quilt. I have tubs of them. Also have two new ones in the works. Same with cross stitch,vwhic I do while warching flosstubes. Working on a valentine sampler. Gotta hurry and get it FFO'd in the next few days. Such interesting info about the turtles. I get so irritated with people. It's ignorance that m
has them doing these things. I get on my soapbox about a few things as well. No common sense any more. Spring is getting close here (Pacific NW). Love listening to the frogs and owls at night. Don't have any flamingos around here though. All of God's creatures are special and serve a purpose.

I so enjoy your floss/ quilt tube videos ladies! It’s fun to listen to two fellow Minnesotans talking about shops that I’m familiar with. Buttermilk Basin (which I’ve never been to) and Sewing Seeds (which I’ve been to). It’s a good thing that I’m not closer to them! Love your cross stitch and quilting. The the best of both worlds! Always enjoy some stitching time while watching you Jeannie and Leanne. It has been very warm here in Alabama since our ice storm three weeks ago. Daffodils are popping up! Loved seeing all your projects. Leanne, those paper pieced quilts are beautiful. Jeannie, I always put my family names on my samplers. It just makes them so special. I love Lucy Bean...I just finished her chart, Pray for Me, I am Petty.( and that is true.lol) I also did Though He Seemeth Sleeping which is one of my favorite framed pieces. Happy Stitching!
