My sister and I are catching up since Christmas video and loving everything. Leann, my heart is with you and your husband. Jeanne, love all your stitching. We also love the quilting. Before Covid I did lots of quilting. I moved and haven’t got the quilting groove back. I cross stitch with my sister daily.

You are so lucky to have a sister to stitch with daily. Do you travel together to retreats or your LNS too?

@@jeanniebergdahl1901we used to go all over the place for quilt shows: Paducah, Daytona, Raleigh NC, Nashville, Asheville, WVa and lots of quilt shows in NC. Quilting was our passion. Several quilting retreats or weekend adventures to quilt shops. Sister found floss tube and a new adventure started. We are caught up with your videos and loved every minute! Wips and Sips and Two Needles sent us your way.

You have beautiful stitches and finishes, Jeannie! I am blown away!! Justine, from Welcome Stitchery, is stitching the Reindeer Feedsack by the way. I am, also, making the BOM quilt from FQS, LeAnn. I need to get my 4 baskets made. I found the turtle information fascinating! My mom loved turtles. I am amazed any baby turtles survive. Maybe this will help you and your husband with his aphasia. My husband had a stroke, and it affected his speech. The physical therapist gave us helpful hints to understand him better. A lot of times Dale can spell the word but can’t say it. Also, if you ask questions like what room of the house are we in, does this have to do with food? Is it about a pet? Are we outside? I hope this helps. Unfortunately, if Dale is tired. it’s even harder. Good luck! Happy stitching ladies!

I was happy to see that you ladies had made a new video. Your description of your weather sounds like what we are used to in North Texas. We have wind, heat, drought etc. most summers. This year we have been having some rain and we are very thankful for rain. Many times before July we are well into the 100’s and that heat usually stays until September or October. This weather has been our pattern since the 1900’s and probably before. I think Texas invented global warming.😀
