My sister and I are catching up since Christmas video and loving everything. Leann, my heart is with you and your husband. Jeanne, love all your stitching. We also love the quilting. Before Covid I did lots of quilting. I moved and haven’t got the quilting groove back. I cross stitch with my sister daily.
@@jeanniebergdahl1901we used to go all over the place for quilt shows: Paducah, Daytona, Raleigh NC, Nashville, Asheville, WVa and lots of quilt shows in NC. Quilting was our passion. Several quilting retreats or weekend adventures to quilt shops. Sister found floss tube and a new adventure started. We are caught up with your videos and loved every minute! Wips and Sips and Two Needles sent us your way.
Love watching you both. Beautiful stitches and quilt!! Leanne…. I am a Leanne too!! Keeping your husband in my prayers! Love your turtle tips! And I agree it is fascinating!
Loved your turtle fact today, amazing creatures for sure. I learned a lot. Jeanie, your finishes are gorgeous. Wish I had your energy to get mine fully finished! I love doing small wool projects. Your kits are so cute, Leann. Prayers for Tom and since it’s 7 days after you filmed this I hope once that side got turned on he fared well! Happy stitching to you both🪡
So good to see you both! Jeannie you must have some dandy callouses on your fingers after all the wonderful stitching and finishing! Leanne, so sorry to hear about your husband’s challenges, hopefully there will be some improvement soon. Thankfully you have your stitching to help calm the stress and worry some. Looking forward to seeing you again!
Always so excited to see a new video from the two of you! I enjoy all of your beautiful work. Prayers that Tom's MRI went well and that the surgery was successful. ❤
I understand how retail therapy isn't fun when you are stressed. I hope for good news in your next flosstube. Your flosstubes are so enjoyable. The turtle facts really are fascinating, I never knew any of that and I've loved turtles (from a distance) all my life.
Best wishes Leanne on your husband’s progress. Jeannie I love the sampler quilt. You are both truly an inspiration to all of us! I enjoy your videos very much. ❤
Good to see you both back again. Love your work. Just beautiful stitching and quilting! I wish I had your knowledge of changing colors to work on the different fabrics. Hope your husband improves. Have fun in Iowa!❤❤
You have beautiful stitches and finishes, Jeannie! I am blown away!! Justine, from Welcome Stitchery, is stitching the Reindeer Feedsack by the way. I am, also, making the BOM quilt from FQS, LeAnn. I need to get my 4 baskets made. I found the turtle information fascinating! My mom loved turtles. I am amazed any baby turtles survive. Maybe this will help you and your husband with his aphasia. My husband had a stroke, and it affected his speech. The physical therapist gave us helpful hints to understand him better. A lot of times Dale can spell the word but can’t say it. Also, if you ask questions like what room of the house are we in, does this have to do with food? Is it about a pet? Are we outside? I hope this helps. Unfortunately, if Dale is tired. it’s even harder. Good luck! Happy stitching ladies!
Thank you so much, Joyce. The doctor just ordered physical therapy to get his strength back and also occupational therapy which sounds like what you suggested!
Hi!! LeAnn I really find your turtles fascinating. Keep teaching us about them. I sure hope Tom keeps improving. Jeannie, you amaze me at how many projects you get completely finished. You are good motivation to me to not procrastinate the final step of finishing my stitching... I have the same problem with my quilts! I have tops but no quilts. Enjoy your summer and stitching time!
Great to see you Ladies! Your stitching and quilting are beautiful!!! Good luck to Tom. We have a pond up the road with many turtles. Mostly snappers. Had one in back yard laying her eggs. We go up most night to see them laying there eggs. We need rain here in Caton New York too!
Beautiful finishes, Jeannie. So inspiring! Leann, I’m sorry for the struggle you and your husband are going through. I hope and pray for a good outcome and that the MRI shows no stroke. Loved hearing so much about the turtles..fascinating! ❤️ Suzette
Wow.. Jeannie’s needle sure was on fire. Such cute finishes. Sending healing thoughts to your husband Leanne. So glad to hear that your sampler stitching has given you some comfort. And I found your turtle facts fascinating too!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful stitching. Sending prayers for continuing recovery for your husband, LeAnn. I appreciate hearing about your turtles- pretty amazing process. 😊
Great to see you two! Jeannie your finishes are awesome! LeAnn I pray that all goes well for your husband. Thank you for the information on turtles it was fun to learn about when they lay their eggs.
I’m always fascinated by the turtle information. I love learning fun facts. Good thoughts for your husband, Jeannie. I hope your retail therapy as payment for nursing duties picks up. The quilt in progress on the back wall is gorgeous!
I was happy to see that you ladies had made a new video. Your description of your weather sounds like what we are used to in North Texas. We have wind, heat, drought etc. most summers. This year we have been having some rain and we are very thankful for rain. Many times before July we are well into the 100’s and that heat usually stays until September or October. This weather has been our pattern since the 1900’s and probably before. I think Texas invented global warming.😀
Thanks, Linda! This year has been the worst we've had. Long, hard winter and now dry, and high heat! I hope we get back to four seasons instead of two!
I love the projects you share but the turtle tips are my favorite. I just learned we had snapping turtles here in Rapid City SD. Thank you both for sharing everything.
Jeannie, LOVE your feedback finishing! Now that I’ve seen your finishes I’m encouraged to do some 😊. Also, love that you’re using the neodymium magnets in the back of your pieces. I love these magnets and use them to keep my ultra folded working charts attached to my stitching!
LeAnn, I loved the turtle info. How fascinating! Jeannie, have you considered making a tutorial on your flats? I, for one, would appreciate it. Loved this flosstube. From another Minnesotan, I appreciate all you do, even quilting, of which I have no desire to do myself. Take care.
YOU GUYS!!!!!! Your (both of you) stitching & finishing are above & beyond amazing & gorgeous!!!! 🤩😂 My goodness! Cannot wait for your next Foster to see what you’ve been up to. Prayers for Tom. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you so much for another fun video. Your Turtle Time facts are fascinating too. I was wondering how you got involved and interested in turtles. I hope your husband’s recovery goes well.
🎉Congratulations on your upcoming half year (1.5) anniversary🎉 Jeannie are you sure your needles did not 🌋melt? At least they are probably smoking!! Great job on your finishes, they are beautiful. LeAnn those colors in the Quaker are really beautiful. Gosh I need to buy some Valdani threads. What size is the thread? Great video ladies, it’s always fun to watch you two.
Leanne, I really hope for the best results with your husbands electrode implantation. Hopefully as research continues the results will get better. This could really help Parkinson’s disease sufferers 😊

You are so lucky to have a sister to stitch with daily. Do you travel together to retreats or your LNS too?
