i would love separate quilt videos! I am a long time quilter (main love), and a newish sloooow cross stitcher - I love the prim/reproduction styles. Though I watch flosstube ocassionally, there's only so many pattern parades I can handle. But I never get tired of seeing quilts and picking up new tips and tricks!
I agree! I love cross stitch but it goes so slow! Sometimes I get so frustrated that I just toss it aside! Right now I’ve got 4 quilts in progress. 3 of them I’m finishing up for my kids. I have 4 kids and started their quilts 25 years ago! I’ve got to get them finished before I die! ❤️

I just found your channel and fell for your content. I love your delivery, all your projects and your smile. I am a quilter and machine embroidery person. We all have many projects in various stages to work on. I figure I have about 150 years to finish all mine😂. Thanks for the new quilt shops and the 9 patch challenge. I broke both arms also, right now I’m in a brace on my right arm due to the removal of my joint that connects my thumb to my wrist. No using that arm until March 29th. I really did enjoy your journey through quilting. I have been quilting since my boys were four or five and they are in their 40s now. It is such a rewarding thing to do and I just started cross stitching again this last year after many years and I'm enjoying that also. Keep doing what you doing. I love your videos. My grown kids finally got quilts in 2023. 2 of 8 grandkids have quilts. I've felt an urgency to get everything done and have now been diagnosed with a rare condition and joyfully do the things I love to do. Currently completing the last of my grandmother's blocks. So much to do, so little time. I do wool applique as well as restore old furniture. I especially love your wool quilt and house quilt. Thank you.

Hey, Katie! This video was awesome! I dabble in all types of needle art. Mostly cross stitch, but I have 2 sewing machines that I love to use for finishing my cross stitches pieces, project bags, etc. However, I feel like you are a prolific quilter and project bag maker! My aunt taught me to quilt 20 years ago and I’ve only made 2 quilts. I get the gist of it, but I need refreshing. Just last year that same aunt gave me her entire quilting cotton stash and supplies. It’s ALL civil war reproduction fabric, as well as, seasonal fabric, wool, and her collection of books. I have everything a quilter has! Now I just need to be you when I grow up! 😂 I’d LOVE to see more videos just like this, including project bag videos, tools of the trade, etc. I’d love any recommendation videos, tutorials, you name, it that you’re willing to spend time doing. I value anything you have to say ❤

I like it either way, separate or mixed. I love seeing all the crafts. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that starts things and moves along quickly. I do it with all of my crafty hobbies, so i am like a WIP queen. It was nice seeing what you're working on. You have some beautiful projects going.
Absolutely loved this video! Your quilting is amazing. Your points and piecing are perfect! Love your fabric choices! I would love instructions by you. I’ve been wanting to make project bags but have not attempted it yet. I go to two quilt retreats every year at a state park in WV. We bring our own projects so we’re all working on something different. We accomplish so much, we’re there five nights. I enjoy it so much. Everything under one roof. Cute fabrics for your cowgirl quilt. Found and ordered two of the books you showed us. Also ordering the hexie templates. Love making that type of quilt. I’ve been cutting out my own. Thank you for the kind words! Wow, 5 nights! I can’t imagine having that kind of time dedicated to sewing. Sounds incredible! I think with bags, the hardest parts are the zippers and the order of the pieces to sew together. I have to check my notes every time 😂.

I like it either way, separate or mixed. I love seeing all the crafts. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that starts things and moves along quickly. I do it with all of my crafty hobbies, so i am like a WIP queen. It was nice seeing what you're working on. You have some beautiful projects going.

Absolutely loved this video! Your quilting is amazing. Your points and piecing are perfect! Love your fabric choices! I would love instructions by you. I’ve been wanting to make project bags but have not attempted it yet. I go to two quilt retreats every year at a state park in WV. We bring our own projects so we’re all working on something different. We accomplish so much, we’re there five nights. I enjoy it so much. Everything under one roof. Cute fabrics for your cowgirl quilt. Found and ordered two of the books you showed us. Also ordering the hexie templates. Love making that type of quilt. I’ve been cutting out my own. Thanks so much for all your inspiration!
Thank you for the kind words! Wow, 5 nights! I can’t imagine having that kind of time dedicated to sewing. Sounds incredible! I think with bags, the hardest parts are the zippers and the order of the pieces to sew together. I have to check my notes every time 😂.
