This is to Guinness book of records THE largest RC plane. It has a span of 8.9m, 4 X 160cc engine, weight: 210 kg and is built on scale 1/5 of the B29 "Dina Might"

Beautiful job. The shot where she's flying in the silhouette of clouds & sun rays, was stunning, and extremely realistic. That landing gear looks really well made and sturdy, damn near like the real gear. The only thing I'd really LOVE to see/hear? 4 MOKI's on that beauty. They have a slightly deeper, throatier sound, and you don't really ever get the "missing" sound in the timing of the engines. I guess, from one of the posts I read, the Owner has passed? Very sorry to hear that, but he left at least one wonderful creation behind. If the lucky person, who may have inherited this bird ever gets her up again, and with MOKI Engines on her? I'll be back in a flash. Wonderful video guys.
Twenty years ago I attended a model airshow in Ida Grove Ia by Byron model aircraft. he built a b-29 approx the same size. he also built a B-17 and couple other very large scale A/c. he also needed several people to operate all the controls. I got the see it and the others fly several time. Just like this one. It was very impressive and worth the whole trip in it self. Great Job. and Thank You for showing it.
Very sorry to hear that Mr. Pieter passed. But if this big beauty gets airborne again, it really needs a paved runway. What an outstanding achievement you guys have made.
OMG, those guy are still using the older type transmitter. Looks like old stuff is still reliable. Awesome flying! Most of my Rc friend are already switching to 2.4Ghz radio with double redundancies RF signal .
I'd love to see someone build a carrier boat put in in a pond and watch how skillfully they could take off and land on it ,but that's just me thinking how cool it would be with the smaller model plans
Great video. One thing lacking in some of these big RC model plans, is the more realistic engine sounds of 5 or 7 cylinder engines. Noting like the sound of a radial aircraft engine.
Could antennas on 72mhz transmitters be any bigger? I remember flying with those radios. Always kept a spare antenna to in my toolbox because, no matter how careful you were, they got bent or broken regularly.
Very impressive! Not sure that I would like the responsibility of operating such a monster though - I like to fly for fun! Have been doing so for fifty years now... Time flies!
I'm not a RC enthusiast but I seriously admire the work involved in building and flying something like this. The scream from the little 2 strokes spoil the effect a little for me though. It would probably end up on top of the wardrobe gathering dust.
A small suitcase nuke can be loaded into the bomb bay for added realism. They are a modest 3 to 5 kiloton yield. Thus, it will not kill a city. It will just level a few neighbourhoods.
The reason for not having four blade props mounted was at the time of this RC model aircraft's construction two blade props was all that was available since this aircraft's first flight RC model engine technology has advanced significantly I'm confident that the owners of this craft will probably go ahead and conduct an upgrade of engines along with a modification of the props...
Sadly Pieter died in an ultralight crash on this very airfield in januari 2008. It was a bright and gentle young man, missed and not forgotten. R.I.P. Pieter. The B-29 has to my knowledge never been flown again.

you can put some Hamsters or Rats or even a little man ( The magnificent RcJongleur) give him a camera and he make fotos for you. You could start a new airline for minimen. ( just give them your Futaba). Great vid!
That is the most greatest plane i've seen! I bet that took a ton of time and a ton of money! How much fuel does that thing burn in one flight like that? God bless!
My Grandfather flew the B29 out of Guam in
WW2. Nice Job!! It looks just like the real thing in the air and flies very well! Thanks for the video!!
One of my first RC plane vids i watched as a kid.
Thank you once again, Orville and Wilbur Wright. None of this would have been possible without you.

What a show!! That RC B29 is stunning to look at and just as much to see it fly.

Dude you are like a expert at driving that thing and i could tell right away when you started it up you ROCK
Awsome plane I'm impressed! That has to structurally sound to handle this bumpy runway.
One of the best vids I have seen. Most impressive-TM
what an achievement. so sad the very talented gentleman is not with us.
An outstanding model...thank you for allowing us to enjoy it.

Absolutely Brilliant ! - not ONLY building it, but to co-ordinate TWO pilots !! - Incredible !!!

Outstanding to watch, really loved the landing. Super video.
Fantastic!! Excellent job guys!
The guy who built this b-29 RC plane is an expert and gave me some nice entertainment thanks
Avro Lancaster, such a beautiful aircraft. Most beautiful plane I have ever seen in real life.
This isn’t a Lancaster, Lancasters are ten times better than this lol.

Beautiful B29 love the size. Can some tell me way the need for to CONTROLS to operate this plain.Great take off nice landing .
Just a great plane and great pilots

Extraordinary real aircraft model when flying over the sky..

You need a giant Folkwolf tailing it! Very cool!!!!
Frickin monster plane. Did you notify the FAA prior to take off?

Take off and landing said it all, wonderful.
Superb RC plane !
Cool plane. Very detailed would make a great movie prop.
Totally awesome. Thanks.
great! So much effort. Very impressive.
PS - why does each probeller have two blades, not four?
Remarkable job keeping the ball reasonably centered. How do you do it?
Great work!

Dang thats a big plane! I'll bet it costs thousands of dollars! Im subscribing!
Very nice landing!

Great landing! little bags of flower bombs would have been very cool.
it looked like it needed a Real run way. jess, that' model looked damn real...
in 2:19 is look like real B-29
great job :-)
Back in my day I used to fly RC remote control gliders but this is a whole new way of saying wow
We couldnt afford remote control we had to tether it with a string and go round and round. We thought that was fun!

I remember it making me dizzy, I had a tough time walking straight after a flight, lol.
I think the 1/6th scale Concorde takes the honours as largest RC model, at over 6m in length! Beautiful B-29 model, though.
This video is "today" 12 years old.
Has anybody heard of the, "Aluminum Overcast?" It is a B-17. It, too, is an enormous model.

This just never gets old.
It's amazing how real it looks when it's flying! How cool would it be to have a couple 1/5 scale ME-109's chasing it around??
it would be historically incorrect, the B29, and the 109 were not in the same theatre
