Crazy …. To see so many corvettes in one dealer ship at one point I’m 22 just got my 2014 stingray w 20k miles bone stock , but dam I couldn’t imagine walking or passing by a Chevy dealer and seeing more than 20 vettes
I would have highly recommended adding forged internals when supercharging it. My 2017 Grand sport had the same thing done to it. Started finding oil in the intake and found out the piston rings and oil rings were blown after 10k miles. These cars are not meant to handle boost. I had the engine completely torn down and added all new gaskets, new cam, forged internals, weapon x pully, AFM delete kit, and a Tune. It already had an upgraded cooling system, fuel system, and Afe cold air intake. I've gone back and done long tube headers, high flow cats, and x-pipe as well. making just over 600hp to the wheel. Each dyno is different but on he told me that on his Mustang dyno a zo6 typically makes about 535 whp. I honestly think he took it to a dyno Jet or something that was showing more hp than it actually has. 580hp without any other mods seems high compared to my 600hp with the mods I've done compared to his. Maybe my tuner guys sucks.. lol
Future episode request. You crank out a bunch of these videos. Can you show us a behind the scenes? Do you do all the production yourself or is there a crew (and who are those folks), how much time it takes, what equipment you're using, etc :-) We know you're passionate about this, but this might help show how passionate!

Rick this blog with the Z-51 with a Z06 supercharger added is freaky to me I have a 2016 Corvette Stingray Convertable Automatic and from day one I said I was going to do just that add a Z06 supercharger to mine as soon as my personal loan is paid for too funny. After talking to him do you think I should go with the Chevrolet Z06 supercharger or the Edelbrock supercharger kit and could you also give me some clues where I could have this done professionally I live in New Hampshire there is not many race mechanics up here that I know of whatever advice you could give me it would be appreciated. I just love your blog Rick every day I must spend at least an hour listening to you and laughing with you I just love your enthusiasm I have the bug too. So far I have put on an AFE cold air intake, Kooks long tube headers and Kooks Xpipes toped off with the same Borla attack muffler system how to prepare for the supercharger. One more problem I did not notice my stingray L3 loaded with every option you can imagine did not come with a performance exhaust and NPP So that's all changed and what really hurts is I didn't notice the car came with 18 and 19 inch wheels the same ones you put on a blog the other night that they are getting rid of. I like chrome for my wheels especially with a dark colored car. I'm going to hit you up one more time what do you suggest I put on the wheels and tires to get the best traction and handling. Love you buddy keep smiling talk to you soon.

Nothing wrong with a prius. Toyota builds decent vehicles. I own a 2012 tundra, 2006 solara, and 1962 corvette. Corvette and silverado is probably all that GM makes that I consider decent vehicles that will last. I find it frustrating when you go to buy a vehicle, Ford, GM, Chrysler, which are American brands, and they are made in foreign countries. IE, Mexico. You should buy a vehicle where you live and support your neighbors job. Rick I enjoy the show and I am a huge corvette fan!

Also forgot to mention, I toured the corvette museum and assembly plant last year and you can see the pride and passion the workers have in building corvettes. Hopefully GM does not move this to overseas.
I agree! I still own a Prius V with 100,000 miles on it...never a problem (knock on wood!) still has original brake pads!

That is a "waterfall"...All convertibles have them built in, but they do not come in the coupe...but...I think they add a nice finishing touch to the interior...I had mine made and painted from Scorpion Fiberglass creations. www.scorpionfiberglasscreations.com/

Its a waterfall as we call it, for coupes to look like a convertible but still have access to the back. Yeah it is sweet.

Around 8k all in. That includes the 1500.00 for the LT4 fuel injectors and HPFP
