Very cool experiment. And thank you for including the various fails, this makes the video much more instructive. Question: how high was the zig above the bottom?
Unieke opnames mannen!👍🏻 Ik zou graag eens i.p.v. dogbiscuits een sloppy spodmix over de zig willen zien, en kijken wat dan het gedrag van de karpers is.
@@Underfishing that hook is way too big in my opinion. For 2 reasons: 1. you unnecessarily hurt their very delicate 'muzzles' because smaller hook will work perfectly fine and 2. lower hook size has much less chance of spooking them ; Use 12 (or even 14 for such small carps as these), the point is your hook needs to be strong and solid. Trust me with this one and try it, I fish since 23 years, mostly with feeders 😜
Thanks god you did this!!! Well done and thank you for your job guys! I've been waiting for such content for ages, i hope you keep going Zig
Wonder how many fish get foul hooked from Zigs after seeing this!?

Thanks Jerome, around 30 cm below the surface with a depth of 2 meters.

This was interesting, thanks for posting it.
How many did you catch on the zigs? Looks like a lot of fish not getting hooked.
Great insight to how carp react to Zigs, thanks for the footage ❤
Have you guys noticed that you catch more when they come from below the zig or above? It would help with setting the depth.
They seem more confident with the white bait
It's interesting that the fish ignored the red baits.
Usually red maggots and pinkies are more attractive than white maggots so yes, it's interesting why red bait is ignored 🤔
Indeed interesting, maybe something to dig deeper into.
I think this was because they were smashing the dog biscuits when the red was in the water
@@Underfishing what was the weather? If its cloudy, shiny baits are better, if its sunny, dark colors are better (also white) 🙄

Excellent job. What time of year was this? depth of the zig? Big lake/small lake?
Some great footage there!
Thnx Martyn👊
would like to see the reaction of a total black pop/up the most popular color
Good idea!
Looks like a lot of carp completely ignore zigs..
moon phase effects what colour the fish are attracted to on that particular day.
They really want it but spook off last minute. Out of curiosity what size hook and line did you use.
Hooksize 8 and a really thin line above the adjustable zig. I don't know the exact diameter, need to check that later.

He’d love the vintage Carp r us long shank nailer size 4 on a withy then 😂
Love to see you do some big baits, 25mm, double 20mm, long hairs etc…
Good ideas
yeah good idea !!
Amazing 🎉
Thanks 😄
good fishing..
Thanks 👍
Nice movie😊🎉❗
Hi,very nice...
Thanks for this, proves exactly why so many fish get foul hooked and damaged by zigs....
Fish get foul hooked and caught on any rig you’re preaching
Any data on this revelation? Never had an issue..
So according to this footage zigrigs suck?
I see multiple takes, so I would say it can definitely be a good strategy.
Good way to foul hook a fish or take their eye out.
Nou het vangt wel maar het is wel de slechtse rig kwa inhaking volgens mij
Kwestie van andere haak en misschien iets dieper moeten zetten
