I met Mark a few years ago on a lake in France, it was a bitterly cold March session with only a few carp caught by a few anglers. Mark hooked and landed both carp and catfish on 13 foot zigs in 26 foot of water. Great guy and very helpful.
Incredibly instructional video. Here in the States, Zig fishing is rare to say the least so finding someone to guide you in the beginning of your learning process is critical! Mark is a wonderful angler as well as a teacher!!!
This boy is a top carp angler no nonsenses no over technical analysis just tells you plain and simple how to go about it and his way of dealing with zig fishing nice one lad some great advice 👍

it depends on the difficulty of the venue, but if you think you are in the right area and the zig is close to the fish, if you have not had a bite after a few hours it is worth changing the depth slightly
Did he mention how he finds the depth at say 70 yards,? Running leads give screamers on zigs
My lake is 12 to 14ft bit ov weed what depth would you start at ... thanks
If you can find the depth of the weed, about a fort over that can be devastating.

You lads are reccing carp lakes across the country . What nutrients and bulk are the carp getting from that nothing . No more the quite days fishing . Spomb after spomb all day long . Band on most well known syndicate lakes hum I wonder why .
