I use sonar a lot in my carp fishing and I can definitely agree you need to be fishing 1-2ft off the bottom in the colder months unless you can get enough attraction for them to drop down on your bait

Awesome video mate! You said location is key, but how do you find the carp out there? Just fishing for liners? 🐟👍

to be fair, bolloks, hes going on about how to locate the fish and look where the shallow meets the deep etc etc, hes using a drone, how easy do you want it, he located a huge shoal, hes bound to catch loads, hes fishing where they have seen hundreds of them, a noob would bag up

Hi mate, I actually filmed this piece and to be honest, brad was already set- up on the fish and catching before I arrived. Granted, we did use the drone, but that was for the purpose of highlighting the points that brad mate; it is all well and good saying it, but when you can see it for yourself, well thats just proof.

Say if your using strong hook lengths and strong mainlines you know you can put lots of pressure on when fishing the fish cause adjustable zig rig and 10lb hook length and I play them with barleys any pressure, ps I’m new to this zig fishing

Genuine question. When you guys make a video like this, is it a case of you've tagged onto Brads session and took an opportunity to film or has Brad been asked to present a specific peice? No malicious intentions or anything like that im just genuinely inquisitive

I knowcthis is a year old but yes it does work. Zigs mimic larvae that carp eat.

Another dumping of leads for no reason. Brilliant advise 🙈

      How was there no reason

What reason was there. Use leads that cut through weed easier if needed. And thinking dropping a lead brings a fish to the surface is comical. I fish a mega weedy lake as landed the last 10/10 fish with no leads dumped.

You lads are reccing carp lakes across the country . What nutrients and bulk are the carp getting from that nothing . No more the quite days fishing . Spomb after spomb all day long . Band on most well known syndicate lakes hum I wonder why .
