ZACH!!! I don’t think I’ve seen you do the Puma All-Pro Nitro yet. If you plan on doing it. Can you please do the Clyde’s Closet colorway. We know the Red with Translucent bottom has “Top Teir” traction already. Would love to see the white colorway review. Hopefully this gets to you and always appreciate your reviews over anyone’s. So much information that applies to most. And you’re unbiased. The hooper community appreciates you more than you know. 🍻
Thanks and I love your reviews! Shoe addiction is a real thing apparently….. I’m 42 years old and have made a comeback to competitive basketball. I’m short 5’7”, 68kg, quick and agile (not like 20 years ago but hey) and I bought a pair of Dame 8s, they’re so comfortable, light years above everything I tried in store. On the court though, I found my narrow foot needed something less wide… I also find them a bit dead in the forefoot compared to a Nike with an air unit, I find the spring of the Nikes so much better for quick acceleration and change of direction. I feel a lot lighter and faster in my new Nike Zoom freak 5s. My Fames are now my outdoor and practise shoes. My take on the Dames is this, if you want speed, light footed direction changes go for a Nike..
I think the midsole construction makes A LOT of sense, instead of those Nike's air zoom units at the forefoot and so on. The thing with less dense foam is obviously better shock absorption, and better control, but having tacky/grippy outsoles combined with a more dense foam at the forefoot is something better to me for both control on light jumps, and heavier response on stronger jumps. The thing with air zoom units is it peaks sooner than a denser foam unit, harder/denser foam will react as much as you want: more force to jump=higher jump, as the "compensated" forefoot units tend to peak, like a limiter (the other way to use a compressor) in music: you won't get as much as you want even with more force given. I think that bounce pro really suits energetic guards, but it won't helps for "lazy" jumpers like the heavy centers or PF/SF, that's why most of them don't use any Adidas . You have to put energy with those, but you get more rewards. Look at Anthony Edwards, Trae Young or James Harden, Adidas is meant for energetic guards who need something that won't peak when you put more force into the forefoot foam. This foam science is massively used by the Chinese National table tennis team: they use a dense/hard foam on forehand and soft foam on backhand. Why ? when you put more energy in the forehand, the ball will travel faster than softer tuned with a crazy amount of bubbles european rubbers. They use much of their body to generate power, starting from the feet (power from the floor concept), with larger strokes on forehand top spins. On the contrary, as the backhand is a much shorter stroke, they need something that will react quicker with less force. Now the thing is: the hard foam on forehand combined with tacky topsheet gives an awesome control, with light touches it's like a brick for receiving serves or short balls, so it all depends on how much you wanna put energy on it. It's more linear then.
I like the aesthetics. Reminds me of John Wall 1 stripes on the sides of shoes. Will have to go to store to try on first to see if it feels plush... looks plush
Yes its not very fast shoe, but the the impact protection is really good. especially when i accidentally landing on forefoot. Ankle feel really safe with this.
Great review. Thank you, Dr. Zach. II noticed that the other colorways have a mesh material, so that would alleviate the breathability / moisture issue, yes?
Great review love ur channel .. Breathability is becoming a real issue .. the hardens are worse in that regard .. i guess when u wear a new pair every few games or switch at halftime its not an issue .. but for reg sweaty foot ppl like Me this is a big issue ha
I like these shoes cushion but I need a shoe which is lighter with better traction. Should I get the Lebron 20 or Jordan 38? Also if you have other recommendations for lighter guards I would like to get advice from you.
I like that they put the pull tab on the ankle collar peicebecause on the regular same 8 it made it kinda hard to put on it would fol over under my foot
Man ! I loved those hexalites, I'm 51 so I had to fortune to wear late 80's, early 90's Reeboks and they were awesome, the best era for that brand. I had the Aztreks, really maximalist shoes but to me on par with the Air Max 90, then as a recreational runner in the army I had the graphlite 1, still with the HXL unit plus the awesome carbon arch shank. My siblings stole them they were too much good hahaha, and one of my sisters who was a pretty decent runner (a very short female skinny body type only 150cm height, just imagine how she could kill everyone in long distances) bought the pump version for splits training on short distances, she loved them cos' she could vary the containment depending on her feelings/sensations during the training. I agree Reebok should definitely get back to those vintage HXL/Graphlite shoes, not only the Classics. There's no boldness anymore in Reebok now, too sold and resold, since Adidas sold them it's a nightmare in Europe to get them shipped, color and size mismatches, lot of logistics issues sadly 😒.
Coming closer on grabbing a new pair doc nice vid as always! you checkin out the puma all pro nitro's? they look interesting ngl but adidas has looked very good recently
Zack I know this has nothing to do with this review; great dame review btw. But while I was watching this the New balance Coco CG1 just popped up on my feed. The all whites look like the best basketball shoe New balance has ever made. I'm partially being sarcastic becuse I loved the two way v3.. I have two pair I even have the Fresh foams.. I have no issues with mine. But I'm just wondering how versatile the Coco CG1s are becuse I feel like I could ball OUT in these the way they look. Thanks
Do these stretch well? I actually went down half a size due to the length and my normal size felt pretty roomy. Half size down is pretty snug, so wondering if they will stretch out a bit.
Grab a pair at adidas: geni.us/adidasshoes

Which one for outdoor and wide foot? 8 or 8.5?
These or harden 6?
Not the highest grit sandpaper sweater 😂🔥
7:58 There it goes again!! 😆🤭

I fell in love with the Dame 8. I wish they did the ankle collar with the certified. Would make that the ultimate outdoor killer.
Which version should I get for outdoors?
Got these in blue and have played in them twice. They have great cushion

Just in time! I literally just ordered this exact shoe & colorway yesterday 😂😂😂

What do you think about them so far?
Got these in the black/blue colorway! More support than the 8's!!! Although i dont like the strap! Thinkin of cutting the strap off these...

You know Zach really loves a shoe when he doesn’t cut them in half to keep playing in them 😂
Haha - just no reason - already had the midsole why waste a shoe
Been waiting for this review. Thanks doc. 😊
Pity about the breathability and moisture retention. I have hot sweaty feet... so not good for me.
Love your videos and work, Doc, keep it going!!! Congrats
Please, Doc, do another video testing the Jordam 11 now that your ankle is better

Wait until the Lebron 21 comes out because the 20 might go on discount
Jordan 38 feels good.. and true to size for 2E wide feet.
Another great video Dr. Zach!! Can you please review the AJ 11 and AJ 11 Low IE (available soon) using the URS?
I like that they put the pull tab on the ankle collar peicebecause on the regular same 8 it made it kinda hard to put on it would fol over under my foot
What about the shoes Dennis Schröder won the World Cup in 😎
Love the Reebok content! Wish Reebok would bring back the REAL Hexalite!!!

I Edit the Dame 8 remove the 3 stripes put a Nike Swoosh, it transform into Kyrie 6 😅
Would you get these over the harden 7’s for a heavier player?
Just personal preference
Can't wait for the review of the new kt9 !!
What are these foam shoes at 2:07 ?
Hi Doctor Foot!!! would this have more spacious toe area, for the wide feets, than the certified 2?
Great review.
Im still waiting review on puma all pro nitro😅😅😅
I'm telling you, each time someone asks this he puts the review back another week!
Is it just me or does the higher density foam in the forefoot look darker. I wonder if that was done on purpose or it just happened naturally 🤔
Would you say the felt is the same as the Harden Vol 6?
Could you review the jordan 12 for basketball?
Need to see a review of the cocos tennis 🎾 green ones
Already did
The problem with the Dame 8 was the lockdown. I hope they have improved that with the EXTPLY.
Zack let’s break open the ZION 3. Love ya man.
Hello , I like your vidéos . Can you make a review for the Wade city 11 V2 . Please ?!
is the dame 8 extply more durable than the CU3s for outdoors since it has a higher durometer?
Guys I bought this Dame 8 Exply. It is heavy and hard. Please advise how do I "break in" the shoe. I did not have the same trouble with my Dame 6
Wear it
Hi Doc Zac, will you release a vid for Puma Mb 03?
🤷♂️
Would you say that these are a swifter version of the Adizero Select?
Not really
Can you feel the strap while jumping? Like does it hurt?
is it good for outdoor?
yes
Can u review the puma court rider chaos

What is the size? True?
Hi , what about size ?
Any Film of this basketball player in a game...
Do these stretch well? I actually went down half a size due to the length and my normal size felt pretty roomy. Half size down is pretty snug, so wondering if they will stretch out a bit.
Yeah I wear these to see patients a lot and they have loosened up a lot
Did they ever make the pump up Charles Barkley 😮
I bought them for 70$. Cop or nah?
Did u?
Is it possible to use this shoe in combination with a Zamst A2-Dx Ankle brace?
I don’t see why not
@@FootDoctorZachtnx grabbed a pair in the color mint. Thanks for your reply and content.
Noooo, hate the strap af.
It must be considered that the other models breathe better and have greater durability
These or harden 6
