As a former dollar tree manager, holy cow that is a clean and organized one. I will also offer some tips for shopping there. - If you ever consider the plastic travel cups from there, almost none of it is BPA free, if you have concerns for that. - The magnets you saw while cute, are very weak for what a cruise would need. - They occasionally carry brand name makeup!!! E.L.F. and L.A. Color are the two brands you'll be most likely to find. I picked up a ton of e.l.f. eyeshadow brushes when I worked there, and I still have some unused ones five years later. (I straight up discard them after a year). - If driving to port and buying snacks, please check exp dates. Before I moved up to management there, my store's candy aisle had product that had been out for TWO YEARS. Be wary. - In summer time they have some awesome beach toys! If you like to pack sandcastle buckets for beach days, go there! - Summer stuff is also super great for door decorations! - Seasonal merch: look about 4-6 weeks in advance. Any earlier and you're getting last year's stock at this year's prices. Any later and it's all sold out. and by all my biggest tip.... YOU CAN ORDER ONLINE and even ship to the store. Items will have minimum order quantities, but if you are going in a large group (currently planning a cruise wedding omg) you can order bulk items still for $1 a piece. And if anything is broken on arrival they will refund or replace it.
I've done the online ordering and it works perfectly! We needed a bunch of plain white mugs for a mug-decorating activity for a large group and ordered dozens of them. Was awesome. :D
We took our first cruise in 2016 and got one of those magnetic dry erase boards. We wrote on it “our first cruise” and stuck it on the outside of our stateroom door with the pen. Passers by signed it, wished us well, promised us it wouldn’t be our last, it was so much fun coming back to our room to find more messages each day. We saved it and it’s still in tact as a very happy memory of our first cruise. I snapped a picture of it, too, just in case it got rubbed off before we got home.
I would personally use the word "inexpensive" instead of the word "cheapo". Your viewers may appreciate that. Thorough video though. Thanks. Hope you had a great trip.
We bought a 7 day pill planner with extra large sections, and use it for our traveling medicine kit. Each section has things we may need, like Tylenol, Advil, Pepto, Antacids, etc. It was much less expensive to stock it from our large bottles at home vs buying single packets of a medicine.
Found door decorations at our Dollar tree to help with finding our room late at night or after a few to many! Also tap on night lights, Glow sticks (of course) and mini Tiara's for the group of ladies that we will be traveling with!
One item that I buy at Dollar Tree for cruises are the plastic rain capes with hood. They are compact and come in handy if you get rain while you are exploring on your own or on your excursions.
Skip the folders & just get a zipper pencil pouch (The double pocket ones work the best), put your passports in the front & your folded documents in the back. The zippers will keep things from falling out & the standard size is big enough to also fit a half-sized legal pad & pen in the back pocket. Also, instead of texting with your group, it's much cheaper to just get walkie talkies. This way you can keep your phones on airplane mode & save on unwanted cell charges. Our last cruise in January we used our phones primarily as camera, alarm clock & flashlight.
I prefer binder clips to clothes pins. They are smaller and stronger, but not all dollar stores have large sized ones. If you get the colored ones, they are coated so they don't rust as easily if you use them for drying wet things. They are strong enough to hold a clothes line and will pinch blackout curtains together better, so I bring them to regular trips too.
Always take Imodium with you. That is something you won't find on a cruise. They want you to call the doctor, to see if you have a virus. Better to pack it, just in case.
We always hit up Dollar Tree before a cruise! So many great inexpensive items to bring. We brought a couple of packs of the glow necklaces and bracelets for the deck party and they definitely came in handy!
I think she is very well off and lives in an area that would keep that place in great condition. I mean, she admitted to NEVER being in one 😆 that was shocking to me
Sounds like you're new to our channel and don't know us very well. I am DEFINITELY a bargain shopper, and we're in no way "well off". My car is 18 years old, and we prioritize "experiences" over things.
People also need to remember all Dollar Tree stores are not created equal. The Dollar Tree stores in SoCal, where my family lives, has way more options than the ones in the Bay Area, where I live.
I noticed you passed the giant ziploc bags with handles. Those things are priceless, both on the cruise and off. I pack all sizes of ziploc bags and use them for dirty clothes, shoes, wrapping souvenirs, etc. you can also use them if you have a rolling cooler, to line the bottom. Great tips , thank you. Dollar tree is one of our better dollar stores. I also like 99 cents only stores.
I buy door decorations at the dollar tree....it is nice to put up something to make your state room door look different from the rest........and if you are traveling in a group you can all have the same decor so it is easy to find each others cabins.
That's why I loved carnival. They allowed one unopened 12 pack of soda per person. Sailing Norwegian in 2 weeks and they don't allow any soda to be brought on board 😣
I had never shopped at a Dollar Tree until I started watching yt videos. It's amazing what you can find in the stores. I bought the big clips for chair towels when we take our trip to St Thomas in October. I want to see if they work as well as the one's I have made for beach chairs. I buy Lysol wipes from there too to use when we travel. We wipe down hotel rooms and state rooms prior to unpacking. Have you been to a Harbor Freight? They have small flashlights that have magnets on the back. They are flat. I hung mine close to the bed and could reach it prior to getting up at night. I don't know if y'all left out Dollar Tree intentionally on this video otherwise you might have a lot of extra views. XO susan
I love the magnetic board hack! We did this as our family was divided into two rooms so we knew where everyone was. I also love the pop up hamper, we put it on the floor of our closet to keep dirty clothes off the floor. Also, those suction cup hooks are great! Help get towels and jackets off the floor. And hand wipes, hand sanitizers stock up!
I would love to see an updated video of this dollar tree shopping for a cruise because you mention in lots of videos some ideas you don’t need now a days!
A couple of tips from me: I pack 2 kitchen trash bag liners to stuff laundry in for the return trip home. Also, rather than buy travel size items, I just remember to save about 25% of the the full size tubes of toothpaste, hair gel, etc and throw them in my toiletries bag in the months leading up to sailing day. 😎
The small medication section--yep...my Mom packs a first aid kit like nobody else I know.....and sure enough on every trip somebody always needs something---a bandaid, an advil, hydrogen peroxide. who knows...but I can't tell you how many times a mini first aid kit has come in handy.
I ended up burning my leg on a motorcycle we rented in Hawaii. The medical facility on the ship had hardly any free bandages to fit the size of my wound. I am scared to think what is going to happen to me in Alaska.
I bought the pop up hamper for our week long trip. My husband liked he had a spot to put the dirties, but the handle tore away. I am going to sew it stronger for our cruise next week
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not or if Dollar Tree has it, but you can find them pretty cheap on Amazon, etc. But when we went on our first cruise, my mother-in-law suggested using an over the door plastic organizer for the bathroom to keep those kind of things handy in the bathroom. They go on a cruise about every year. We did it and will continue to use that tip. :-) I love the idea of the collapsible hamper. I'm hoping to go on another cruise towards the end of this year! :-)
What!? You missed snacks for your road trip. They have trail mix and chips and sweet tarts..Yum. If you're like us. We live in DFW We drive to our closest ports which are Galveston or New Orleans. Got to have the snacks from Dollar Tree. Also drink mixes for your bottled water you purchase on board ship is also my go to like Pink Lemon aid, Strawberry Lemon aid yum.
Nice to see someone else from Texas! Luckily for us in Houston Galveston is about 45 min so it's not much of a roadtrip but I do go to university in the DFW and THAT roadtrip is begging for snacks
Dollar Tree is a MUST for all cruisers. Especially since you've already spent a lot of money on the actual cruise, lol. We also buy the mini-packs of kleenex. A lot of places we go sometimes remove the toilet paper from the stalls and sell it to you by the foot. Yep, this has happened three times now in the touristy areas. Having the mini-packs in your bag/backpack has saved out butts (literally) many times. And of course there is always the chance that the paper has run our in your stall too. ;)
A shower curtain liner for those ships that still use them. You can put it on the inside, along with the one they already have in the shower so you don’t have to touch the curtain that everyone else has touched before you. Then leave it for them to toss at the end of the cruise. We used it on Majesty of the Seas and it was fantastic.
I have also used lightweight decorated boards or thicker laminated poster board decoration (group of 8 Hibiscus flowers pics) for door decorations. I use a marker to customize ship name, ports, dates our first names etc and those hook to hang or take to door. Keep those in memory books or hang in my house to remind us of Caribbean Cruise etc.
I use those Red Print Antibacterial Wipes all the time, in my Truck, my Purse, I travel with them every where, they leave no Film and don't dry out Your skin 👌
The little suction cup hooks are awesome for an extra place to hang wet bathing suits. I'm definitely getting those large clips for holding my towel onto my deck chair!
Love Dollar Tree!! I agree with the medium sized toothpaste. We brought a sample sized tube once and it didn't last the whole cruise. We ended up buying a tube at the "General Store" on the ship for $7. Live and learn!
I got tons of stuff for my cruise at my local dollar tree. Love the 2 for $1 loofah so I could just pitch them at the end of the week. I did buy those exact magnets that you picked up and they were not strong enough. I bought thank you cards to put an added tip in for the staff and they wouldn't even hold that up. But all in I made out really well and the things we didn't use I'm repacking when we take our family vacation to Disney. BTW your first aid bag that you carry saved me on more than one occasion! Thanks for the awesome tip!
I loved the comments I got when I bought the cutest margarita glasses for hubby and myself. They came from the luau section and people SWORE they'd missed out on the drink special of the day! Don't forget the one hole hole puncher. Power strips and snacks. Gum. batteries. Tiny flashlight. Various sizes of BAGGIES! For everything from getting gummy bears for free in the ice cream shop to packing my wet scrubbie on the last day of the trip.
I love the Dollar Tree. I shop there for several little things. You do have to be selective. I buy my kids 2 packs of the glow sticks. We use them for fun around the ship, but we also use them as night lights in the cabin. My kids usually sleep with their sticks. It gives a strong enough glow to light up the floor but soft enough not to wake the kids up. As far as the clips are concerned. I bought those and love them. I used them for my towels. I also use them when we go camping. I would be careful with the medications. The name brand ones are great but you need to check the labels. Some are like the old traveling medicine man, 95% alcohol.
It’s not about being cheap it’s about being practical,I always go to dollar store, dollar tree or dollar general for basic stuff like travel size over the counter meds, sticky note pads, hair ties and some others that I think we might need the cruise especially the hand sanitizers and wipes,I know that cruise ships have many of them around the ship but not inside my stateroom..great job for visiting the dollar tree😊😊😊
Really enjoyed the video. I used those suction hooks to hang a shower caddy I made from fabric netting. I didn't want to spend money on the Serendipity one, so I made my own. Super handy for hanging my in shower items within easy reach!
I now have strong Magnets for the walls..i did have some last time but they weren't strong enough. all good now and it was because of one of your vids that reminded me the walls were metal.. thx
Great ideas. Also for kids, I got a bottle brush, disposable bibs, beach toys, toys for the plane and cabin like "Lego" kits, little pinball machine, card games. Great options to entertain kids for long cruise dinners or waiting for a show.
Sheri, not sure about your Dollar Tree store but I always get the Clorox wipes small pouches I believe 15 count as well as the Purell sanitizing wipes, maybe they ran out I also find them great for travel. Hubby Jr is so adorable!! 😊
Not sure if Dollar Tree carries them (I've found them at a Dollar store here in Canada), but we used an over the door shoe organizer when we had an interior stateroom. It saved on storage space BIG TIME! I brought it with us on our next cruise (we had a balcony room for that one) and we found we didn't need it since there was plenty of storage for 2 people.
Sophiegirl2011 I bought a gray cloth one from Dollar General, and liked It’s so much that I bought another one for my husband’s closet. We used smaller ones for the back of the bathroom door, and felt so much more organized. Not always searching in a drawer that is already full.
I love the idea to decorate the stateroom for special occasions! The prices of the cruise line decorations are outrageously expensive! I rather buy some cute stuff, have my bottle of wine/champagne and be sneaky and do it myself for the cheap!
Boarding our 35th cruise in 2 weeks. Alaska bound! We always bring travel mugs (for both coffee and cocktails), yellow highlighters (the highlight what activities in the daily bulletin sound good to us), post it notes and sharpies and 'badge holder necklace' to hold our room key. BON VOYAGE!!!
GREAT VIDEO... 18 cruises & I've NEVER considered this option for handy trinkets for a cruise... Thanks to you, this is added to my "things to do" list prior to cruising... THANKS SOOO MUCH!! Bon Voyage Y'all...
In the garment bag section of the Dollar Tree, they have small collapsible bins (beige-colored) which are great for keeping small stuff on the desk/dresser organized.
"Low expectations are the key to success" what??? I hope you didn't mean that, also you were throwing a lot of shade at the dollar tree, you should've just went to target.
You could also buy little 3 ounce bottles. It comes in packs of 3 or a pack of 3 with 2 bottles and 1 spray bottle.I used them on my last cruise and they were perfect.Especially if you have a flight to the port.AND THEY ARE AT THE DOLLAR TREE!!!!!!
Hmmmmm!! I did guess 2 of the items!! Those big, plastic clothe pins are great to keep the curtains closed completely - keep the balcony cabin nice and dark!! Great value shopping!! I am always overwhelmed at dollar stores (but when I was still teaching, I hit the dollar store every week)!!
Great video I cruise three times a year.I have been on a Norwegian Breakaway kick I live near the port in New York so it's convenient.I have my travel toiletries down to a science and my checklist.I pack my suitcase so nothing gets wrinkled I'm a little bit of a neat freak. My cabin I keep organized and clean I unpack right away and hang everything up so no wrinkles.Lots of good ideas you have enjoy all your future cruises 😎🌴
What a great video Sheri and family! Firstly, the new camera / mic looks and sounds great - the video is more vivid and crisp, and the sound seems more focused (not that there were any problems before - it's just been elevated!). We've purchased similar cheapy magnet clips before, and they're really only good for 1 sheet of paper. So, we've torn the daily planner and put it up so that way we have a visual reminder of when/where to be, along with hanging our excursion tickets or other coupons. Also, instead of make up remover wipes, my wife uses baby wipes, specifically Huggies Cucumber and Green Tea scented baby wipes. She enjoys these for her make up b/c it doesnt bunch up when using, without smelling like a baby's bottom. Just wanted to contribute and share our little tip :)
I bought sunglasses so I don’t lose my good ones. Didn’t need them much in Alaska. But also bought extra reading glasses so I had a pair for my bag and the room. That’s my find at Dollar Tree.
A few things to know about the dollar store items: medical and eletric equipment dont have the standards of us. A FDA worker said your better off buying straight from drug stores because its safest to use. The electrical items can short really fast. I normally use this store for organization a. Besides, not all people have the 1% of money of the world.
I love the DT...All of there wipes are good ...That was a good DT..You'll alway find some good stuff there...The quality of most of the stuff is good...Thanks Great Video
Royal Caribbean made me go to security, remove the power strip and held it until the end of the cruise. The strip cost me more than an hour of my time and I had to lug my luggage from deck 1 security all the way back to my room BAD IDEA if you are on Royal Caribbean.
Hi Sherry. When you come to South Bay area, I recommend you to stop by Daiso. Their items are $1.50 and up, but if you are into cute (kawaii) items, that's the place to go. My favorites are little plastic bottles for traveling.
One of the best tips thst we got a few years ago were the large clothes pins for beach towels. We pack them every time. Love your Dollar Tree; so much better than dollar store near my home. I've tried the dollar store make up wipes and the ones I got didn't do a great job. Neutrogena are much better but the other items work great.
For ou alaska cruise we got highlighters, a 5pack of disposable travel mugs, hand soap, glow sticks(my kid loves them too), sun glasses, hairbrush, laundry bag, sandwhich bags, toothpaste, and toothbrush holders.
For the crew that cleans our room....we buy gift bags, paper tissue and things from The Dollar store to stuff the gift bags. I put the bag out on the 3rd and 6th days. Put Balm Bestie, manicure sets, Nick knacks.....
I use the file folder to hold important documents for the trip and passports. That way its all in one place instead of me digging in my bag and its easy to pop in the safe.
Since the bathroom door switch is on the outside, we put a touch light, from Dollar Tree on the counter so you don't wake people up with the light. Just push the button when you close the door. We always bring a poncho and/or umbrella.I don't mind ruining a $1 umbrella. They are also small, compact or flat, so easy to pack.
This was so helpful! I actually popped in the dollar store yesterday thinking I'd do the same thing and I only found about a third the stuff you guys did, aisle by aisle must really be the way to go! :)
I pack every type of OTC med when I cruise because it's not like you can just run to Walgreens when you are in the middle of the ocean. Plus they charge too much money for the stuff on the ship.
You got exactly what I usually get when we go on a cruise!!! Love the white boards.. We bring on for each couple/family/ stateroom to leave messages!!! Have fun!!!
The Dollar Tree is amazing. I can't believe you got out of there paying only $8. I think I usually pay at least $30 - $50 or more but then I am a teacher!
What never been to a dollar tree??? Before any trip- I go to the dollar tree!! Eight items - that’s all!!! I have found so many great items at the dollar tree.. you said cheap a lot... I think it’s more reasonable price!!

now thats really cool
That’s so cool!!
Wow what a great memory to save!!
How did you get the ink to not rub off?
Yeah it's Laura That is cool! I think I am going to try this. Our first cruise is in 2 weeks!!! 😊
I would personally use the word "inexpensive" instead of the word "cheapo". Your viewers may appreciate that. Thorough video though. Thanks. Hope you had a great trip.
i totally agree
I found that off putting too.
wHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? YOU GOT THE POINT, DIDN'T YOU?
Agreed!
Robin Williams wooaaahhh calm down bud😂
Well that is about 500 times nicer then our Dollar Store
We bought a 7 day pill planner with extra large sections, and use it for our traveling medicine kit. Each section has things we may need, like Tylenol, Advil, Pepto, Antacids, etc. It was much less expensive to stock it from our large bottles at home vs buying single packets of a medicine.
Thank you for this tip! I never thought about using one of these until now. Do you know if you fly, will they question it in TSA?
Sheri says "As you know stateroom walls are magnetic". Me: Had absolutely no idea until this video. LOL
Not all are
what Sheri meant was theyre made of metal so magnets will go on them easily.. the walls arent just the hooks you take lol
Me neither 🤣🤣
Me: Had no idea until this comment 😂
Not on someships...
I use the suction hooks to hang swim suits in the shower to dry
Do they work well? I was thinking of trying them
Hey that is an amazing idea!!!
They are great 👍🏻
Found door decorations at our Dollar tree to help with finding our room late at night or after a few to many! Also tap on night lights, Glow sticks (of course) and mini Tiara's for the group of ladies that we will be traveling with!

With your phone on airplane mode, Carnival Hub allows texting for $5 a person. Just hard to hear the alert.

BCS. What won't they let you take on a cruise
An iron
Damn bubble gut!
Pepto Bosmul!
I always go 2 Walmart first & if I can't get it for a $1 or less then I go 2 dollar tree. Sometimes u can get that stuff cheaper at another store
We always hit up Dollar Tree before a cruise! So many great inexpensive items to bring. We brought a couple of packs of the glow necklaces and bracelets for the deck party and they definitely came in handy!
This is the best stocked dollar tree I've ever seen lmao
For real...
Mine doesn’t have anything, EVER! Like legit can never find anything. 👀
was like being in the Walmart of $$$$ stores!! LOL!!
I think she is very well off and lives in an area that would keep that place in great condition. I mean, she admitted to NEVER being in one 😆 that was shocking to me

We use the bungee cords to attach our 12 pack of sodas on top of our carryon suitcase, works great! And yes we bought them at Dollar Tree!
EECC Travels how many 12 packs can you take?
shontapl you can take one 12 pack for each person
EECC Travels hi
does it have to be in a cartoon? Can it be individual i want different flavors
That's why I loved carnival. They allowed one unopened 12 pack of soda per person. Sailing Norwegian in 2 weeks and they don't allow any soda to be brought on board 😣
I took two bungee cords on an all inclusive trip. It came in handy when my traveling partners luggage fell apart.

Michael Vitale I do the same!
Are you allowed to take those onboard an airplane.
Christina Huerta-Syverson only a specific amount but that should be put in your check-in bags and not carry on so you can carry as much as you want!
This has got to be the nicest Dollar Tree I've ever seen!! Ours in Nashville aren't nearly as clean and well stocked. Totes jelly!!
They aren't in Clarksville either!! LOL
The small medication section--yep...my Mom packs a first aid kit like nobody else I know.....and sure enough on every trip somebody always needs something---a bandaid, an advil, hydrogen peroxide. who knows...but I can't tell you how many times a mini first aid kit has come in handy.
That's so cute! Go MOM!
I ended up burning my leg on a motorcycle we rented in Hawaii. The medical facility on the ship had hardly any free bandages to fit the size of my wound. I am scared to think what is going to happen to me in Alaska.

dollar stores are my passion

Yay Texas!!
Whoop whoop Houston here! Good comment. I don't think she was terribly impressed with dollar tree even though it is a MUST for vacas 😆 💵

The dress bags are super light weight so if you are considering them buy two. One for getting on the ship and one for leaving. They will tear.
Low expectations?? Dollar Tree is a gold mine. "Cheap" it's a store for disposable things.
That is one well stocked Dollar Tree! This is our go to place for cruise related items. Great video!
For everything from getting gummy bears for free in the ice cream shop to packing my wet scrubbie on the last day of the trip.
drabhaskell why the hole puncher? Thanks!!
Just booked our cruise..... Some good ideas here....A can of Lysol is on my list..I go in gunz blazin...
Love it!
Jimmy Sutherland LOL same here Lysol wipes evvvveeerrryytthhinngg
We love dollar tree 🌳 for vacations. Little bit of everything
You can get rolls of magnet strips. Just peel and stick on whatever you want a magnet on
It’s not about being cheap it’s about being practical,I always go to dollar store, dollar tree or dollar general for basic stuff like travel size over the counter meds, sticky note pads, hair ties and some others that I think we might need the cruise especially the hand sanitizers and wipes,I know that cruise ships have many of them around the ship but not inside my stateroom..great job for visiting the dollar tree😊😊😊
Dollar Tree also has rain ponchos. They have come in handy more than once on a cruise. We always take a popup hamper, takes no room in your luggage.
Really enjoyed the video. I used those suction hooks to hang a shower caddy I made from fabric netting. I didn't want to spend money on the Serendipity one, so I made my own. Super handy for hanging my in shower items within easy reach!
The most amazing tip I found for our honeymoon cruise was to pack a popup hamper. It's so convenient and we pack it every time we travel.
Your hubby is doing an awesome job editing. I really like the feel of this video (especially the intro)!
I now have strong Magnets for the walls..i did have some last time but they weren't strong enough. all good now and it was because of one of your vids that reminded me the walls were metal.. thx
It's 2020 and I am now watching this video but can't get over how organized the Dollar Tree in this video is. Hope you enjoyed your cruise dear.
Great ideas. Also for kids, I got a bottle brush, disposable bibs, beach toys, toys for the plane and cabin like "Lego" kits, little pinball machine, card games. Great options to entertain kids for long cruise dinners or waiting for a show.
What a GREAT Dollar Tree!! The ones in my area aren't nearly this stocked -- ever. Awesome finds!
Works For Cruises it was stocked and organized. I was so jelly watching that. Lol
I said the same! No way the dollar tree in my area has all this stuff
Sheri, not sure about your Dollar Tree store but I always get the Clorox wipes small pouches I believe 15 count as well as the Purell sanitizing wipes, maybe they ran out I also find them great for travel. Hubby Jr is so adorable!! 😊
Going on my second cruise. I bought a magnetic white board and decorated it with tropical and cruise stickers Should be fun
Laurie Ann my white board magnets were NOT strong enough. Next time I’ll double up the magnet strips.
I'm in love with this video I couldn't wait to watch it. I love tj maxx and dollar tree around the year especially during the cruising season
Ahisha Liggett I
Dollar Tree has everything, we shop there all the time.
That is the most organized, clean and stocked dollar tree I have ever seen.
Right??
CruiseGear OMG. . You replied to me. . You are my new fav channel.. you deserve so much love and support. .
Can I just say that this music was so relaxing so thank you for the tips and the music
I hope you didn't mean that, also you were throwing a lot of shade at the dollar tree, you should've just went to target.
going on a cruise in two weeks! celebrating Christmas away from home. love those shades by the way.
Carnival had shampoo and shower gel in the shower in a pump dispenser. I think conditioner also. Good stuff.
We love the large ziploc bags and some candy for the kids to eat when waiting for me to get ready😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
We booked our first cruise for May.... I haven’t stopped watching your videos since! I can’t believe this is a video it’s like you read my mind!!! 💗💓💞
Big D could you post your check list?
Could you post your checklist please?
I also buy the travel size meds and wipes to keep in the pouch when I am out and about and I have the larger bottles in my travel kit in the room
when i went on my first cruise i used the magnetic clips to hang my huge beach hat on the wall so it wouldnt get damaged in my room! :)
+Elizabeth Blackey great tip!
A few things to know about the dollar store items: medical and eletric equipment dont have the standards of us. A FDA worker said your better off buying straight from drug stores because its safest to use. The electrical items can short really fast. I normally use this store for organization a. Besides, not all people have the 1% of money of the world.
Also, keep your trip packing lists for future cruises. I wish I had done that.
I love the DT...All of there wipes are good ...That was a good DT..You'll alway find some good stuff there...The quality of most of the stuff is good...Thanks Great Video
power strip because there is never enough plugs
Norwegian and others make you leave power strips at home. Check with the cruiseline first, and for gods sake leave the candles at home!
"never been to a dollar tree before" *stumbles upon the nicest dollar tree in the US* you should by a lotto ticket.
Haha! Good point Kyle!
Boo Boo That is so very kind of you. I have a good friend who works on a cruise ship and I just know she would appreciate that. Thank you.
I grabbed one of those makeup bags last time I was there and it’s actually made pretty well. I was shocked. The zipper works great too!
I need this Dollar Tree in my life!! They have everything!!
EXCELLENT tips!
Theresa Rohaly and available at the Dollar Tree. Very small and easy to pack.
Idk why I didn't think about the dollar store! So glad I came across this video. My first cruise is in December! Thank you!!
TBnMe2013 same!!
TBnMe2013 same what cruise
TBnMe2013 i
Did y’all have a great time?
This was so helpful! I actually popped in the dollar store yesterday thinking I'd do the same thing and I only found about a third the stuff you guys did, aisle by aisle must really be the way to go! :)
Also, props to Mr Cruisetipstv for the cool shots in this video, and shoutout to Hubby Junior for being extra cute...cause we all know he was! Hahaha
Haha! You get the air out of the vacuum bags with an actual vacuum! Lol!
I love dollar tree as well as 99cent stores they are awesome
And don't forget to grab some Pepto Bismol tablets. All the different foods everyone in the family is eating - these always come in handy.
Kaye Morris I’m a teacher and love Dollar Tree too. They have the best supplies for teachers!
What never been to a dollar tree??? Before any trip- I go to the dollar tree!!
Eight items - that’s all!!! I have found so many great items at the dollar tree.. you said cheap a lot... I think it’s more reasonable price!!
