Japanese heavy metal fans are felicity. Almost all great bands in 80's went to Japan and left awsome performances.
Judas Priest and Scorpions played many shows in Japan in the late 70s and released two great live LPs. They were bigger there than in the US back then, before they became big in 1980-82.
One of the best voices in Rock ever. DIO, Halford, Harnell... c'mon, he's incredible

19歳の頃、SONY MUSIC TVのTNT特集で録画して繰り返し見てたなぁ。今や52歳のオッサンですが、素晴らしい音楽は何年経っても素晴らしい。このライブは本当に永久保存版です。
He hands down had the best hair of the hair era of em all ... Oh and he's a damn good singer too - he was one of the few who actually sounded like the record.
このライブの時には生まれてすらいなかった世代だけど、子供時代に親の車の中で流れていた懐かしい曲が目白押しで不思議な気分...!

今聞いても色落ちしてないホントに綺麗な曲ばかりだと思います。シャムシェイドやジャンヌダルクなんかは少なからずこのバンドの影響を受けてても不思議じゃないサウンドを築いてる気がします。
今に繋がる日本のロックにも大いに影響があったんじゃないかなと思います。
ホントにかっこいい。ヤバいわ。泣ける。

Tony is an incredible vocalist. Take Me Down is so underrated as a song. Everyone I've ever played it to is instantly in love with it. This should have been a global hit.
1989. Yep. When I had the pleasure of listening to my brothers LPs. White Lion, Cinderella, Badlands, Firehouse,Queensryche, Def Leppard, yeah yeah. But nothing sounded like TNT/INTUITION. Shouldve been bigger than Bon Jovi.

God I love this. Tony Harnell's hair was worth the price of admission alone. And God what a voice! I loved the Tell No Tales and Intuition albums.

Still my favourite band
Morty was so overlooked in this band he contributed more than most know (songwriting) plus he's a stellar bass player. This was the ultimate and best lineup.
当時このビデオ持ってて擦り切れるまで何回も見返してたわ〜。当時は何にも疑問に思わなかったけど、コーラスはもろテープだよね。それでもこのライブのかっこよさは30年以上経っても色褪せてないからすごい！

私と横浜在住の友達とTNT にぞっこんハマってしまい、今は無きweekly mansion借りて都民しました😆💓💓私は一応北関東で東京→北関東行ったり来たりだと大変だったのでweeklymansionを借りる事、自分でもナイスアイデアだなぁと思いましたTNTのメンバーが次の日名古屋へ移動する事分かっていたのであさ5時起きして東京駅で待っていましたなかなか来なくて昼過ぎた頃ツアークルーのお兄ちゃんがちらほら駅のホームにやってきたのでメンバーは来るのか聞いたら来るよと教えてくれ、更に待つ事午後２時頃ファンに囲まれた彼らがやって来て握手して頂きました😂前日のライヴ成功でメンバーも上機嫌でした( ≧∀≦)ノ

I've recently been re-discovering my love for this band. I remember getting the Knights of the New Thunder album. Sooo good. Then I got Tell No Tales on cassette. Killer. Then they kinda fell off my radar. But now I'm finding so much more absolutely killer material. Ronni's just insanely incredible. And Tony's vocals are stellar. The rhythm section sooo tight and I can actually hear Morty's bass. I'm so glad I've found these guys again!!!!
dude. exactly that. i listend for them for years in my car. then this was gone and lately a friend and me went through my LPs and listend to tell no tales. even he as a thrasher was so blown away from the B-site.

One of my favorite bands from the 80's. I saw them at the Channel in Boston in (or around) 87 and was blown away. Ronnie Le Tekro's tone is so huge and his playing is just as good. Thanks TNT for the music.
My fav 80s band.I saw them in Stockholm 87 but couldnt get in because i was too young so i basically watched the guitartech through a small window.What i heard sounded good though :)

Great voice great set of hair it was a shame that a lot of bands cut there hair because hair metal was going dead in the 90s. But I’m new too this band TNT so let’s hope this will be the band for life 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻
TNT has probably the best light glam heavy metal sound ever live! Incredible band!
Who knew bassist Morty Black could hit all those high pitched backing vocal screams? Always thought that was all Tony by himself. Tony's definitely singing a little bit lower here. In places. Saving his vocal cords for the ultra high screams. I've never really heard TNT live. This is good. I kinda forgot for a minute how much I love these guys. They weren't the same band after Tony left, that's for sure. Kinda sad there are no tracks from the Knights of The New Thunder album. My first introduction to TNT. Tony sounds beautiful here. The whole band does. Kenneth Odiin's drums sound amazing. Ronnie Le Tekro's guitar is always amazing. Far too underrated. Pretty tone. He's using a guitar doubler. I was suspicious he was. And then two or three magical guitars playing by themselves. Cool trick. I'm sorry I never got to see them live back then. They worked that crowd. Great double kick drumming there by Kenneth. Tony's a capella vocal was very nice. They really do write great songs and Ronni's riffs are truly masterful. Dag Stokke's keys sound lovely. Great band. And yes. Tony was definitely one of the greatest singers in rock. I don't think he has the upper range any more. Then again? Who does? But back in 89? Astounding. Loved the Everyone's a Star encore. Ronnie and that talk box sounded so badass. And Tony hit all the high notes.
Quite surprising how high Le Tekro keep his guitar strings. Great concert! TNT is awesome!

It looks like Ronnie LeTekro keeps his string action an inch off the neck !!! (2:52). Damn dude, if you would have lowered that action, you could have broke World Records. Lol
Luv ya TNT. "Intuition" is one of my all-time favorite albums. And I listen to everything; from DEATH & SLAYER, to FATES WARNING & TNT.
Wow I never noticed that about his string action! Maybe he picked really hard? Maybe a tone thing?
He prefers the action that way, I can't recall why. He mentioned in an interview once. It would drive me crazy. I can't believe He pulls off that "machine gun" picking He does with the action that high, but hey, it's obviously working! Such a killer player. Great tone and so melodic and quick. His solos would make Brian May proud.
Heard it was for the tone in an interview. In some of that machine gun picking he actually doesn't fret the strings!

Nice recorded backing vocals they’re lip syncing, but still, that sounds amazing. Great band back then, great guitarist.
The prerecorded backing vocals don't take anything away from Harnell's fantastic voice. But they definitely play with tracks.
I asked on a prev comment if anybody knew about the overdubs in the backing vocals, you actually answered my question, nice :)
