- Music group TNT perform a live playback performance of "Listen To Your Heart" and "10,000 Lovers In One" live on NRK TV Norway. This is archive footage from NRK's broadcast of the Landbruksveka festival which occurred outside Oslo, Norway.
Certification awards for the "Tell No Tales" albums are presented to the band between songs.

I discovered TNT in 85 or 86 in college and listened to them a lot. Great band. Saw them live once and wish I could have seen them more. I miss the great music of the 70’s and 80’s so much.

They should have been more popular in America than they were. Awesome Band. Tell No Tales is still one of my All Time favorite albums. I love every song on it.
Agreed! Fantastic album by a really exceptional and talented rock band.
That and Knights of the New thunder are true Masterpieces they were a really overlooked band, either way they dominated their own land and their legacy and music power will live on!

Probably my favorite rock band of all time. No one better than Tony Harnell and Ronni Le Tekro.
Fantastic. Being 54 i kinda grew up with this music. Killer vocals. Such an uplifting sing a long chorus. LISTEN TO YOUR HEART !

LOL! I WAS THINKING THAT VERY SAME THING. LOL! AT LEAST BRING IN A SECOND GUITAR FOR THE DOUBLE HARMONIES OR EVEN USE AN EVINTIDE HARMONIZER TO PLAY IT LIVE! Definitely a lipsynch show!

They still rock today:) just saw a live recording from Spain (2018) awesome. I grew up in Trondheim so we went to see TNT frequently in their early days. The 80s was freedom!!!

This performance was canned but they most certainly performed live. Tony would melt your face off w his live singing. It was a joke how good they were live.
@@johnsuttoniiijs I took voice lessons from Tony at his place in Long Island in 1994. When he demonstrated what he wanted from me vocally it was like being roared at by a lion. It was life changing.

ok , it's one thing to be a tight , well polished band, but this ,, even the same reverb, effects eq, the whole 9 yards, this sounds exeactly like someone said, lets avoid sound issues, and just play the c.d. direct through the PA, it'll be just like kareoke

But why did they agree to lyp sync this for TV???. They are acting over the studio track. Theses guys are good enough to do it for real with no problem.
It was just the industry standard of the day for most musical performances on TV. Sometimes lip sync performances are forced on performers by television producers to shorten the guest appearances of celebrities, as it requires less time for rehearsals and hugely simplifies the process of sound mixing, or to eliminate the risk of vocal errors. Lame, but it likely helped them with exposure and publicity regardless.
I don't know if there's any backing tracks on it or not but whatever it's amazing.

Loved this band back in the late 80's. Too bad they had to lip sync this performance...
Days when performances were artists playing real instruments and belting out screams to take your br eath away. And not too shy to wear pants that showed what a real man looks like. I'll take a thigh, please. Make it two. 👌
