At least I took that detail like that, maybe it wasn't intended to be taken that siriously, but as someone who apologises a lot it felt great to have someone say something nice every time, even if they didn't mean much by it
I was never athletic so I super understand how embarassing and shameful it can be to suck at something and inconvenience someone else because of it. I adore that Jiji is a good dude who's patient and understanding and tries to help Okarun feel better about sucking at soccer. I noticed the ommissions and they made me sad. It's not anything we don't learn later, but it's a nice detail

It still a bit random, but at least is randomness with context. lol As for the creeps who attack Momo, I understand they were designed to resemble some Japanese politicians, although I'm not sure exactly who. So... Yeah... On the bright side, as far as I know, this is the last time Momo ever receives a SA attempt. And yeah, we didn't have a confession per se, but I think it's mostly because it was last episode when Okarun actually accepted and embraced the fact that his feelings for Momo are not just friendship, but actual romantic love. So I say admitting it out loud literally the next episode, to his main love rival, no less, still puts "Dan Da Dan" WAAAAAAAAAAY ahead of 99% of romance anime when it comes to love confessions. lol And yeah, I really like Okarun and Jiji's dynamic. Not only did they bond quite nicely, I appreciate the fact that, even though they know they are love rivals, there isn't any real bitterness towards each other. As a matter of fact, I'm quite sure that Jiji asked point blank Okarun if he liked Momo, not to tease him or anything like that. I think he definitely noticed Okarun had a thing for Momo, and he wanted to help him to come out of his shell and be more assertive.
