Lived at Cafe Al Bacio of course (love my coffee!), loved Eden (amazing lunches at the snack bar area), Magic Carpet, Grand Plaza for my Lavender Lemondrop Martini...ahh, I would go back tomorrow!! My wife and I typically sail on Carnival, not just because of the price, but we genuinely enjoy them the most. However, we had an interior cabin on the Celebrity Silhouette before. The cabin was very spacious and very upscale, but the bathroom was tiny. The toilet space was as tight as on an aircraft. It's nice to see that the Edge has not just a beautiful and spacious cabin, but also a very spacious bathroom.
We really liked the chairs on the upper deck of Eden that faced outward to the aft- we saw sail away from there! Lots of great hangout places on Edge ships. My husband's favorite hangout was Cafe al Baccio- those big wing chairs- and "The Big Orange Thing" aka the Magic Carpet! I loved the Martini Bar and Eden. We're doing two Celebrity Cruises next year, one on the Apex. Very fond of them so far! :)
We were on the Apex in December and loved everything about the ship EXCEPT the magnet bathroom doors that slam no matter how much you try to prevent it. We finally rigged up a hand towel to act as a buffer.
Love Al Bacio also. Had several chocolate croissant with cappuccino each day on Solstice. Covid cxd our 2020 Edge booking though so glad you are doing her this time. Looking at rebooking after RCCL Wonder of the Seas next year! THX ya'll!
I enjoy your videos so much...so entertaining & funny in addition to being very informative and helpful...thank you for that. We embark on our Edge cruise day after tomorrow. Question: Did you guys drop off your luggage with the porters before parking in the garage there? I'm hoping the porters will be easy to find as we've never been to Port Everglades. Thank you ever so much. You guys are AWESOME!

Cruise line depends on what mood and vibe we're going for, I'd say. They've all got strengths and weaknesses, so can't really pick a single favorite, no!! :P
I'm probably biased, but the decor is too garish for my tastes. I prefer the dark wood/brass decor of Princess. This looks more like a hotel than a ship.
What size rolling luggage do you guys utilize? My hubby and I are flying to Florida for a two week land and sea vacation and we have two 20” roller bags and a 24” bag I’m thinking about taking too (as a checked bag) since I’m planning on shopping, lol. Is this overkill or just right in your opinion?

We each take a 28” rolling suitcase and two backpacks by default, sometimes a bonus duffel bag, so that’s probably in the same zone, hah!! :P
