I was going to make fun of carlitos for telling his teammate to wake up and then getting killed 30 seconds later but damn did Printer ever take the salty award.

Yeah, Team1 needed to lean into some static air defense and suck up the raids for a while, and just hold their ASF's in reserve till they reached critical mass. They were producing WAY faster, but they kept throwing them away in uneven matchups.
Gabber is a Dutch word. It means "mate/friend". In the 90s there where a lot of people listing to Hardcore music. The people who where in to that where called Gabbers.

This game was nuts! This might be the first time I’ve seen a team lose air superiority but somehow still win the game with bombers. I’ve seen a bunch of people give up on ASFs and just try to com snipe but I can’t remember ever seeing it actually work 😂😂😂
Man, just don't know why those two coms weren't in the water that late in the game, especially with Novaks up you're a sitting duck for so many different snipes.

Considering that's a UEF player and it's moving like an air unit, it's pretty obviously the Novax that shows up later.
He mentions the Novax 20 seconds later. The yellow circles indicate commanders.

I didn't get excited about a commander, I got excited about a previosuly unmentioned experimental. I described my focus both as a "yellow circle" and "an experimental," clearly noting that I'm refering to an experimental.

Very unexpected ending!
Wow, that was an interesting game. And that nail biter ending! well I won't spoil it, but it just goes to show that things can turn on a dime in this game. Also, I am not a fan of games where the two opposing players end up having almost identical colours, Team games should really limit the colours that players can choose from to be from a consistent pallet according to the team. e.g. blues and greens, and yellows for one team, and reds, pinks and browns for the other.
You can enable team colors, but then all enemies are red and all team mates are blue. It should be possible to make a mod for this though, especially as you can change the colors client side only, so it wouldn't even affect the others.
Spent half of the game scratching my head trying to figure out the eco difference and the last 5 minutes screaming loud enough to wake the neighbors

Feels really bad for Gabber. But the man had to know that there were desperation attempts coming. One look at the map would have sufficed to reallize: They be doing something cheesy (tele-mazor attempt was the warning sign).

Dang. It's wild to me that the winning snipe could have been detected by some relatively cheap and redundant frigates set to patrol the map edges. Intel is incredibly important.
I wonder how supcom games would turn out if everyone had full map vision at all times. Probably not too different from phantom games - build up tons of eco, then suddenly invest all that eco into a strategy at the last second to eke out an element of surprise.

Well, despite the naysayers in the comments, this was a proper Joe match. What happened made zero sense during the whole game, and that's how I love it.
Dunno what you're talking about Gyle, Gabber is wicked. HIghly recommend "Madness Revisted". Everyone knows "I want to be a hippy" by Technohead, even if they don't know what gabber is.
Gyle have you seen or looked into Beyond All Reason? Not sure if you ever mentioned it but it is an open source rts game based on Sup Com and Total Anilation that came out in 2023. I found it pretty fun
The units in that game feel a bit too much like supcom 2 to me and don't really capture the majesty that faf has.
If only you could get 6 levels of veterancy :)

Amazing cast! Gyle, where did you generate the promo image? It looks very similar to many ones I see on RUclips ads from exercise and shake 'scams' (they sound like scams to me 😅)
They are AI-generated, might have been one of Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Dall-E etc.

love the video's but ive got a question im running supreme commander forged alliance with the Total mayhem v.1.37 mod in steam i can build everything sounds work all that is good but when i exclude navy and air factory's the AI refuses to build ground units when i turn the mod off there isnt any issue does anyone here knows what the problem might be ?

@@TheEarlofBronze1 Are you not seeing that the shell is buried under the pile of cash, at the wrong angle to make sense? It doesn't follow the body curvature at all.
I can point out a good couple additional flaws, that should be obvious to anybody who takes more than a glimpse. Shape of coins, unequal number and size of digits, floating lamp, lower vest rim not attached to anything. Hare's gun without trigger, too many barrels, magazine = handle, second gun also floating.
