Team 1 deserved that loss. They sat there doing nothing - not investing in Strategic Defense nor Artillery. Kept sending in small forces into the PD emplacement. The deletion of the Army with that second Nuke was the game changer. Left side not used properly - no missile attack from there to harass the backline. The war is never over until the last man is standing. Good job for Team 2. I was rooting for Team 1 after seing the first engagement but after that was just... AFK farming.
Technically they were investing in artillery. They had one under construction, and a Novax out too. They just seemed to think they had the luxury to just sit back and work on that since their opponents were done for. It didn't seem to occur to them that SupCom, unlike many other RTS games, has options for turtled players to still hit back.
Should've built a stealth tacmissile base in south position, and cut off a bunch of Team 2's T3 mexes.

I have rarely seen such bad unit plays from such high rated joes. Other highlights:
-Building novacs before nuke defense
-Not aiding the anti nuke.
-Throwing several insanely optimistic attacks at the pd.
-Throwing away the first monkey (seriously what was that?).
that was an excellent game, beautiful tactics at the end! Its rare to see end game weapons used so nicely
That plateau looks like punisher rabbit - or 'bunnysher' for short.
Don't waste your time being concerned about offending the perpetually offended. They'll be mad no matter what you do.
Honestly, I'm more offended by the insinuation that I could be offended than by any actual offense.
i watched this one when @thecommissar casted it a couple of weeks ago and its weird watching it knowing whats coming! i spoilered myself!
i spoil`d my pants too, with a big boom-boom when gyle does a cast. plus i sharted.

One of those matches which is entertaining due to the big turnaround, but also a bit disappointing due to one team completely being the architects of their own downfall.
Dear Gyle... I have noticed that the names are in a dark red and a purple...both a bit hard to see with out glasses or magnifying glasses. Maybe a yellow and white? or bright red and light blue??? It would be a lot easier to see. Thanks.
Gyle. Could you show more, of the landscape differences (when not possible to see from top)? And possible tip: There is a hotkey for selecting similar units when one is selected - other than doubleclick... Couldnt find it online, at least you can set it, if it's not default. And Thank you for exciting match!

I'm just deeply confused... what was team 1 actually *doing* with all that eco? Where was it going? It wasn't defenses, it wasn't experimentals, or artillery, or strat bombers, or nuke defenses, or navy, or air superiority... It just seemed to be going straight into the void. Were they just so short on build cap that they were running at full storage for the entire second half of the game?

Especially as Isee somehow had no intentions to use his Air Dominance to clean up the bottom plateau with his Strats... that would be like one coordinated run killing like a dozen T2 Massext.
Very entertaining to see that there are people as blind and uninspired as I am in FAF :D
They lost cuz double massive blunder with nukes especially last one and the fact that light blue was playing simcity and did nothing useful at all, and bottom team had more mass if we remove light blue from equation lol

This was very frustrating to watch for the first half. Team 2 seemed to just not have the apm to keep up.

Apparently it's a Cybran version of the Absolver i.e. an anti-shields unit. Only available in the developer beta realm atm.

They are the cheapest support commander with no addons in the prebuild.
random map generator seems to always make symmetrical maps, or that is an option to turn on so 1 side not get an advantage, if mass points not even on map that would not be fair
Maybe it's more obvious with some generated maps but all maps are perfectly symmetrical, hand made and proc gen ones, otherwise it wouldn't be fair.
