Gyle- do what you need to do. You’re one of the lynchpins (in my opinion) of this community and I don’t think anyone minds sponsorships. Also, I dunno if this is weird but I replay casts I’ve watched to help me fall asleep.

I will add my voice to the ones who already said it: when it comes to your lifelyhood, the ability to make these casts, please take a sponsorship and don't feel bad for it. I think people will understand, especially since you have so much passion and make such good entertainment. In other words your content is more than worthy of a sponsorship.

There should be ethical considerations in sponsors. Don't accept sponsors that mistreat people. If they're a mobile game company that makes most of their money by exploiting mentally-ill "whales" who spend $500/month buying "power gems" and "speed boosters" then don't take their ad money. Otherwise, go for it.
RSL ads can be creative though, Internet Historian did a great job with it.

At 38:30 I feel that team 2 missed a chance to go directly for the throat. All ground AA emplacements gone, no shield coverage, comm is in range, 20 tier 3 gunships. Yeah there was some flak in the form of T2 AA tanks but not enough to stop the com kill happening.

Was expecting the chicken to only harass at the left, while the engineers from those factories hoovered up all that mass after the base there went down in the push. Should have been enough for a second T4, and in the meantime he could have spammed out loads of more mobile flak to accompany the then final push. But maybe I am misreading the game state here and it was totally over anyways.

From a pure game design space experimental AA is the only thing missing. And as you often point out, seaborne anti-nuke. There should be a nuclear equipped land unit also, like a spider with a nuke instead of a laser but chickens are probably close enough.

love the casts Gyle, always bringing back the good old Supreme Commander days, i dont think a little sponsor promotion that helps you out do more is going to lesson the nostalgia of such a great game (not to downplay FAF). Plus, some sponsors have actually only been bought by myself due to sponsorships from my favourite content creators. you do what you need to keep doing what you love.
Gyle think of it this way, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. You are perfectly fine having sponsorships because lets be real nobody can run a channel that doesnt provide, with that said you spend a lot of time making videos so it will be reasonable. Choose what you feel is best and not what other people say.

This game is a constant reminder of why real weapons are as they are and how overpowered they can be. Self guided rocket artillery is absolutely dirt simple, it would be servos, a camera, and a chip. Cruise missiles have range in the thousands of km, and were it not for fear of triggering nuclear warning systems we could load ICBMs with conventional explosives and the range becomes effectively infinite. There are truths in physics that make some of this stuff extremely lopsided. Armor is always harder than piercing it because defense has to cover more area. That's why you can always make a shoulder fire munition that can kill a tank. Also hitting something moving is always harder than hitting something stationary, that means that shooting down missiles is always harder than just shooting missiles. I find myself looking for a whole different type of game where I could see an evolutonary arms race.

Question. Why do high rated players avoid T3 static AA even when they're being overrun by air?
Compared to T1 and T2 their coverage and damage application are way better, the dps/mass is the median and they do have some splash. And compared to AA Units the damage/buildtime is way better.

About your introduction: We just cant blame everything on putin since he is not the one that is forcing us to create and keep up sanctions. No, I don't support any war and I am neutral in that conflict. I just think that our politicians should take responsibility for their actions and they also should act towards the well being of their people as that is what they have been elected for. Emotions should be left out of this political disaster.

If you have not paid attention, there is WAR right now.
Putin is not to blame. He told the West what would happen if we kept provoking him. We kept provoking him, on purpose. If he didn't invade in the Spring we would have done even more stuff to antagonize him. The point is war for the sake of war, so defense contractors can get rich and billions of dollars can be stolen/embezzled. That's why Western leaders told Zelensky that he's not allowed, under any circumstances, to make peace with Russia. If he tries to do that, we will assassinate him, just like the USA (through its proxy Azov) murdered Denis Kireev. It's one reason they wanted to get rid of Trump: he wasn't letting them start any wars.
And the energy crisis is not just because of the invasion, it is also largely caused by intentionally avoiding the use of nuclear power and coal. It's not an accident, it's being done on purpose. Your leaders want your country to be poor and they want to drive down fertility and replace you with a bunch of immigrants. And if you try to vote them out of office to elect people who want Germany to be peaceful, prosperous, and oriented towards the needs of its citizens, you will be accused of "fascism."
Compared to our current leaders (in the USA and in Germany) Putin is an attractive alternative. He might be a dictator and a jerk and actually a fascist, but at least he's a patriot and he wants his country to be successful and protected. I can't say that current leaders in the USA and Germany want their countries to be safe, prosperous, and protected.

Putin for me is definitely the catalyst for this current situation but we in the UK would be in a far less dire place had our politicians served us better on energy policy throughout the years. We should have a whole new generation of reactors coming online right now but unfortunately, due to poor planning and bad politicking, here we are.
