For starters, check all solder contacts you might have cold solder connections, just a possibility 👍

Will do brother. The bloody thing is working again. It appears that the unit just loses all programmed presets or something. It may be a programming issue if that is the proper term to use... lol

[UPDATE: reading commenting, maybe I leave the unit plugged in for a while, it may recharge some kind of backup battery or some EPROM within it, and start up after a while, now it’s in the warm not the garage. Painful. I have an ancient -20 year old - PC in the garage, it still fires up, its battery backup hasn’t died yet touch wood]. Ok, you repaired it twice already…not news I wanted to hear. These are not cheap. I thought I was buying a quality unit. Had it for several years, barely use it, it’s just I didn’t have a Lithium-ion charger, and fitted a Li-ion to my middleweight diversion motorbike (Seca 2). Hardly drains at all in months and months, even in the cold. BUT pulled it out now, to charge that same battery, to use as a ‘door unlocker’ cos my car battery is flat, and this unit initially lit, and then I just watched it die. Nothing wrong with either fuse, ie I swapped out the AC fuse twice, no change, and I pulled the 10 Amp DC fuse, it’s in one piece, and anyway, we don’t even get an AC Power LED come on. I will look for your other vids, maybe you fixed the AC input side. Thanks anyway, take care all.

Yeah, I am not holding out much hope for this unit. I paid good money for it but I am still having trouble. I leave it on my motorcycle and for no good reason I sometimes see the unit blinking from power to caution light. I unplug it and fiddle with the wires. Most times it will go back to charging but it is not working properly for sure. Buyers beware!

A pain Andy. Maybe try a ohm test on the wire ?

All of that stuff is a foreign language to me lol. What is Tim's other channel name? I haven't saved any channels there yet and I don't see him on YT anymore. Thanks Andy!

What's krazy is its a well known name brand of charger. Now I'm curious about their lithium jump starters that are so expensive.

I've sen the jump starters go on sale for half price but I never bought one.
I was on an outing with family on quads and side by sides a couple of weeks ago. one of the side by sides lost power and died. It was laid up too long and the battery was low. My brother in law had a Noco battery jumper. It spun the engine over a couple of times and then it also died.
I think just carrying a spare battery and cables may be the way to go. Old school wins every time!
