A couple years ago, I struggled with anxiety and even though I wasn't afraid of driving, I'd always have these episodes when I got into my car where I couldn't breathe. It's a really scary, confusing thing to experience. Similar to you, I found so much comfort in RUclips. I'd watch my favorite RUclipsr's videos and begin to see my life through their positive perspective. Things felt more inviting and exciting! It actually makes me cry (happy tears) to know that you find this comfort in my videos. Your life and the small, simple moments are absolutely extraordinary, friend. And I'm so grateful for you!

I know how much work goes into creating a production, whether it's online, or onstage, or a party, or what have you... and I'm aware how easy it is to fall into the trap of comparing the prepped, polished, and edited presentation with the meandering, sometimes stressful or chaotic, and often silly unfolding that is our life in real time. (Although I do have moments so magical and so perfect that it's hard to imagine they are real.) But, like you, I feel blessed even when my morning cuppa shares the counter with stacked dishes I didn't get around to washing the night before, or when reading in my backyard swing has a music track of cars going by out on the highway. This is such an important message. Hugs to you for this offering

Dear Morgan, thank you for reminding of how the real life can be. As for me, social media constantly makes me restless and I feel like I live a dull life and never will be able to do enough. This feeling is so depressive. I think that people should always remember that those polished pictures and videos are just a facade and we’ll never see what’s going on behind it.

Thank you for this video which shows the huge work and the time it takes to make a vlog. I think it's wonderful what you do, you and the other vloggers. I wouldn't have the patience and even less the motivation because of the constraints (noise, lights, hours etc...) but I know that doing the same scene again from different angles, and suddenly losing this spontaneous and natural side of the moment would demotivate me quickly. It's really hard work, but with such magnificent results! Thank you very much for all this time and sharing your daily life.

Your point about access to different places was Well said Morgan! I might be taking this to a whole different level but some people sell themselves short when they dismiss things and think that they will never get to do that or they’ll never have a life like that. When we see people’s lives on tv or social media it is just a small piece.
Exactly! When I first moved to Portland, going to a park by myself gave me SO MUCH anxiety. It was an ordeal! So I empathize with other people who don't feel they can do something like I did in this morning routine....and there are people who truly don't have access to nature. This is just my gentle way of showing people what they do have access to, their ordinary, can/is actually just as extraordinary as what they see in my videos.
Thank you so much for showing the other side of your gorgeous clips! I once made an autumnal evening routine video, and although the routine looks easy if you just watch the video, the reality is that I filmed in in multiple days, because if I would film all the clips in one evening, I wouldn’t have time for my actual routine, only for taking the different shots of each shortened activity (shorter than if I weren’t filming my evening). It’s so nice to see that someone else also takes her time for the shots and that it’s okay if the actual morning that you’re filming might not feel super relaxed and casual when you’re doing it (because you’re also working to create footage that you’re happy with), but that when you edit it together and have those 3 minutes of you going through the routine, it does represent how you would view your world if you were not filming your morning. Filming a routine takes longer in the moment than the routine itself, but the end result is still realistic if you edit it together if that makes sense. Again, thank you so much for this very relatable video!✨💛

Hello Morgan from Northern California! Oh, it is 9pm on Friday and I am just getting to see this, after a crazy full day of being out of the house....But rather it is first thing in the morning or last few minutes of night....I am delight to see a video from you. What a joy and a way to end the day...Thank you, for another peaceful day...I live in between a city and college town, that is currently crazy town of confusion and "oh my goddess, what is happening in the town I live in...but it will be fine and I will be fine and I, too am just a lower class, middle class person, who struggles has moments of plentiful, moments of "oh no, what am I going to do?? and moments of it is just going to be okay, I got this, and give the cat a hug aka Oreo...who longingly looks at me with love, bewilderment and warmth...so I am grateful, okay with not having fancy crap...because I love the hand-me downs of stuff, that have histories and stories of places, I have never been to, may never go too and so on. So no fancies and before I go overboard and overwhelmed and As always, I wish you lots of happiness, joy, great filled moments of pleasure....and abundances. Love the video of what life is like just filming, which I image and can see is not perfect. Oh, well that life and it does go on and on..........much love, teas of many kinds, books and warm summer days.
I really appreciate this format! We can enjoy a romantic sequence of a morning and then see the reality of other types of mornings and I just love it. I LOVED the second half of this video. When I was first starting out, I constantly got so down on myself feeling like my footage wasn’t “artsy” enough, so seeing the behind the scenes of one of your aesthetic videos is kind of nice to see that we all struggle with the right focus and camera angles and such

Yes, that's exactly what happens! Whenever I'm filming myself in a store, my camera is hidden among things on a shelf and I'm holding my breath, on high alert, hoping no one walks by!
