Trying out StaffPad on Surface Pro 3 and brushing off vague memories of music writing. The video may get a little long (as does real life!) but wait till the end ;-)
andrewnorris2 Thanks. Working on another one as I get bandwidth and will post once done. The app is amazing. The range of instruments is high and they have in-app purchase for more.
Thanks for replying, Ahmed, I'm so tempted and will probably invest in this programme, but that means splashing out on a Microsoft Surface tablet too! Send me a notice when you post your next video. Cheers!
Can anybody teach me how to write three and four voices on the same staff? This is the logic way written music happens for classical and jazz guitar. I find hard to do it on staffpad. Thanks.
In the top left of the bar at the top of the screen you see the numbers 1,2,3,4. If you click those, you can write additional voices in the same staff.
Hi Ahmed!!!! Are you enjoying working with Staffpad? How you do transposes? If you write viola in a treble clef can you transpose it to the alto clef afterwords ?
+E. Mangano I was using the i7 model in this video but staffpad site has the compatibility section states all are compatible including Surface 3. Here's the link staffpad.net/#compatiblity Good luck.
intro of Papa! good job!
Nice video, I enjoyed watching it very much.
Please be so kind as to share further experiments so that we can get to see the range of instruments. Otherwise, its looking good so far. Thanks

Ahmed Adel I have it on an HP Spectre x360 and it seems to work well. Getting a better stylus from Dell currently. (The HP stylus isn't that good)
I can't identify the song, but I did enjoy the video. :)
BigSleepyOx Glad you enjoyed it... It's Papa from Paul Anka ruclips.net/video/rYi0DINAKZk/видео.html

How the minimum system required for staff pad works; surface pro 3 with I3 and 64 GB it can be a good choose?

Thank you. (Didn't recognise song).
nice ...
is there an online community for staffpad users? i think there MUST be a way to add chord symbols...
Agree. This would be great to have! I don't know of an online community though.
Hello! Can I write the letters of the chords like A, B, Gm, C7 on Staffpad?
+OnlyDreamerful Hi, Not that I know of. This is more for full musical notation. There are other apps more focused on Tabs, chords...etc.
Is there no auto scrolling with the playback line?
