I don’t get why Gorilla Games removed infinite jumping, forbidden west is a single player game, the only experience we can ruin is our own, which isn’t gonna happen since we WANT to do duplicate items. Do they not want us having fun?😡

Agreed! It took me far too long to even get the 1st 5 jumps to be anything remotely close to consistent....but I managed the escape enough times I have enough of my elite coils I don't have to worry about not having enough no matter how I build my gear

This is probably the best guide for the glitch. I've been doing it successfully days before yours came out, but all the other guides showed only their prefered way. I ended up watching several of them until finally I came up with an amalgam of all the jumps from various videos that worked for me. Yours shows different methods for every jump so people can pick their poision.
My man Arktix, coming in clutch! Can't thank you enough for this walk through. I saw the original method and after about an hour of trying with no luck I gave up. Then I saw your video and the different variations and within 20 minutes I'd gotten it down! Thank you, as always for the high quality content! A couple of variations that worked well for me: - Wall jumping off the last 2 logs and not the wall to get to the v opening works well - The double jump when targeting off the slanted log to get to the small platform is money
The first time took me like 45 minutes. Getting the machine to line up against the wall is actually really annoying. The jumping mechanisms became a breeze after a couple of attempts. I was consistently able to do them on my first try and each attempt to the base and back to the arena took like 12-14 minutes each depending on how slow or fast I was able to mark all items for duplication! Kudos man! Great job!👍👍
can't wait for a updated coil video after the new duplication glitch. I just finish burning shore and started my first NG+ playthrough, your videos really help me out.
Soooooo very helpful!! 😂 Thank you!!!! I fought the plowhorns and couldnt get it right. So i opted the storm bird rought. Took a whole night but i finally got it and fucked up at the choosing the 2nd fight (chose cage fight instead of Storm and messed up the glitch). After trying again, i finally found my mistake. 😅 It works! Thanks again mate 😁👍

Getting Over It with Beta Sobeck Seriously, just needs her interjecting comments about how this is never going to work. Spent three in-game days trying and failing to get on top of the invisible wall, following every step, it’s like it just isn’t there. Appreciate the video, I REALLY don’t want to have to play the entire game *and* DLC again to get another set of elite coils, but it’s looking like I may have no choice in the matter.

After trying every video out I finally got it using your method after 30 mins...I didn't have him positioned in corner perfect like u did but i was able to use plowhorn body to wall jump on logs
Great video, if your trying this for the first time I'd recommend trying to get the grimhorn in the spot so if you fail it's easy to get back up, learning where all the ledges are at first is a pain, my first success tool me 5 hours, but after you know how do do it the running then sliding to get up the first wall onto the logs is super easy just kill one grimhorn and tie another down, the hardest part is jumping from the triangle to that small platform as aloy likes to run of your not careful with the stick, went from 5 hours the first time to less than 3 min now, but this does still work its just figuring out those ledges for the first time

There are 8 other guides out there that don't hold a candle to this very detailed and comprehensive how to of one of the most challenging glitches. I had tried this for hours with other guides. With this one, it took me 10 minutes and am able to perform this consistently (for the most part) . Thank you very much for taking the time to perfect this most excellent guide. It is appreciated!!
@@klexen_ the method where you run under the platform with the logs and vault from the front of the platform to the beam seems to work best for me personally. My biggest problem was once I was on top of the invisible platform above the platform with the logs I could not get all the way over the the right side. I was jumping too soon. This guide showed you that aiming assisted with the right position in order to jump. Let me know if this explanation was enough.
Arktix I'm so glad you gave other methods to do this other than the stormbird method. I tried that and gave up but now I actually have a way to get more elite crit coils. Thanks for this amazing guide🙏
Just did for the first time. slide trick worked for me but i got real close with the ramp. Wanted to verify it works after today's patch. Thanks for the breakdown that helped when my patience broke down
Thx Arktix. Now that I beat the NG+ in hard mode. I want to do another run and go OP on all machines. It’s machine payback time. Hey I found your way to climb the wall easier than doing the Dreadwing. I also found that even though I sometimes don’t align the Plowhorn exactly to jump onto first log, I can use the height to wall jump onto the log. I couldn’t get to the roof of the first platform on any form of jump except the concentration side jump . I found that to be the easiest . You are the man!
A small tip if your struggling to get a good lie for the graphorn. You don't necessarily need it to lie in such a way you can get straight onto the log pile. If it's close enough to the wall that you wall jump off, it's a lot easier to jump off the graphorn than run up the log
Holy mother of God I did it. I kept failing at the dumbest part - jumping from the platform AFTER the small triangle to the next one. I finally did it though with a combo of all the techniques and duplicated everything in case I never do it again 🤣 For those who dislike the Grimhorn method, I still went into this arena but tied them both down and killed one away from the area I wanted to be in, and I did the slide up the log. At the apex of the slide (it's higher than you think), that's when you do the wall jump to the ledge. It takes a couple tries (in my case .. too many) but I found it easier than trying to bait a Grimhorn.
Thank you very much for the detailed accumulation of all known jumping techniques. Special thanks to you for showing the positions of the joysticks and sequences of pressing the buttons. Thanks to this I saw that before jumping to the second level, it is necessary to constantly jump up not on the visible wall, but just on the invisible left, or rather in the invisible corner between them. In this way it is easier to push off from the visible wall in order to climb up to the second invisible platform.
@@ArktixOfficial I've found out for myself that this is the best place to practice combined low-power jumps of different techniques. It would be a shame if GG shut it down. That's why I turned off downloading patch 1.25 for now, just in case.
I have a pretty rad method btw: get some armor on that’s pre equipped with good low profile specs on it and implement it with even more low profile weaves. You then don’t even have to worry about the grimhorns while trying to get through the tricky task of getting up the wall. They may initially spot you but if you have the appropriate outfit on they’ll soon forget you exist and will stay in their cages.
Great video, oh and please do a video for the best burning shores build with the new armors and weapons and which to use and if they're better or the previous ones are better like your ng+ build video

Holy hell, I could not get that slanted log jump, then I listened to the advice of changing the performance, and BAM got it on the 2nd attempt. Praise above, I can finally do it
Amazing find yet again. I won't need this glitch because I've pretty much grinded the last one to oblivion, but for newer players... Don't miss this chance. Will download the new DLC soon as well. Been a while since I've played this amazing game.
Unrelated topic but I kinda hoped that the BURNING SHORES would add a new armor that enhances elemental statuses. LIKE: Longer Fire, Corrosion, and Purge Water states (ice & elec are already OP, and plasma doesn't need it); More damage from Fire, Corrosion, and Plasma; More damage from exploding & shooting off elemental canisters; More damage from hitting weak points; And more damage and elemental build-up from environment traps;
Also, it turns out you can kill one Dino and hopefully the other one will lose sight of you, eventually giving you all the time you need to work on this!
Me too! Tried there and abandoning the challenge didn’t bring me back into the arena…kind of just glitched everything out instead and I ended up with only the gear from the Dreaded Encounter. Reloaded my save and everything good but I want that crit dmg coil
1 additional note. If you used the save game editor on a ps4 save to give yourself massive resources in your inventory do NOT use the glitch on your resources. It will reset your inventory back to the normal in-game max, so if you had 9000 of the crafting resources in your inventory not the stash and you trying to duplicate those it moves the 9000 to the stash but instead of having that also in the inventory you'll now only have the normal 100 or so in your inventory
This will only matter if you have transferred your safe to a ps5, if your still playing on the ps4 or ps4 version on the ps5 you can re-edit your inventory but if that save has become a ps5 save your screwed
Biggest thing none of these vids mention that made it much easier for me was to switch on always run mode. Improved my jump at the beginning almost immediately
Good tip! I play with it on, so I don't think about that much. Some people have told me they find it easier with it off. I guess it's just different for everyone.
This is exactly the perfect summary of all our efforts! Every path has their advantages and you showed us all of them in a way that we can all take our own prefered one. As we should c: I am happy that I was there to experience our frustration together. It might be patched in a few weeks, but I am proud to have been there to figure it out along side everyone in the community. Props to Oruga and everyone who found out their own route variations. This kind of research might be applicable to reality, and with that team anything is possible, have you thought about that? :) Very entertaining video even though the route is patched and I never had the desire to use it.
I did the grimhorn method a while back were you have to destroy it in front of the wall. Its too time consuming. Just kill one and the other one tie down. Its easier. Sometimes you dont have to tie it down.
Wow that’s crazy the max amount you can make 2,147,483,647 is the max cash on Old school RuneScape!! That makes sense honestly guess it would crash the game for any game numbers that big haha that’s wild
Oh yes good point. 2,147,483,647 is actually a common limit in computing because they use 32-bit number storage and this is the max positive number you can have. It's literally written as a 0 followed by 31 1's. If you go one further, the whole thing rolls over and becomes -2,147,483,647 !
Idk how to explain it but for grabbing that invisible ledge, what I do is when I wall jump to it i will rotate the stick more towards where that ledge would be and it's always away from where the visible wall is so I want to say aim for the middle but it's invisible but she almost always grabs it and yes that was frustrating trying to get on that ledge. Ha I wish I would've waited for your video I got it down to like 3 minutes but that one where he just come from underneath the platform is easy. I do the storm bird way I've done it like 4 times now techinically 6 but I forgot to take the coils off twice.
I'm pretty sure all game devs are aware that people are incredibly good at breaking their games and it will happen to theirs. I know some of them get a kick out of seeing it happen!
This is a great tutorial. Unfortunately, as someone who didn’t start arena duplicating until two weeks before burning shores came out, this is totally not worth the time, energy, and frustration. Before it was worth it cause it was quicker than killing the machines for parts, now it’s actually faster to kill the machine than duplicate it’s parts. I guess that was the point of the devs taking away the other way. RIP arena glitch.
I struggled 2 hours using Oruga’s guide, until I figured it out. I don’t remember how many times I did it, but I now have 400 Legendary Coils of each type, and like hundreds of each machine resource. I also got 999 x brimshine, etc. Don’t give up. It’s still worth it and once you get a hang of it you’ll get resources way quicker than farming them.
@@TheAndersDanilet after more practice, I did find the slide and ropecaster technique worked best for me, but still a pain (in comparison). So you’re right, it can be worth it once you get it down. The coils/weaves are definitely the only reason to do the duplication. I guess I don’t need 5,000 of every waterwing and bilegut part 😂.
Regarding land bearings. What I found helpful since the first version of the jump glitch, when you're outside the arena on ur mount, you can see the zenith base as you head to the lowland stash. Your other marker that tells u ur headed right, is the stormbird flying in the distant mountain peak to your right. Those landmarks made it easy for me to trail the lowlands base stash
I might actually abuse this, now that I feel like I've thoroughly completed the entire experience without it. I wouldn't mind having more of the best coils, including the new ones from Burning Shores. I won't be able to play again for several weeks due to moving homes. I'll have to hope it doesn't get patched before I get a chance.
I just did the original method. It's pretty difficult at the first, I think my first successful duplication took me more than 45 mins. After doing it a few times I can do it every 3-4 mins.
Wish the developers just had everything for sale in new game plus and gave us bonus shards for each mission. You end up with 100 extra champion tokens, let us sell them.
HOLY SHIRT. HOLY FORKING SHIRTBALLS. Thanks to your video I'VE FUCKING DONE IT. Spear to combo Glide up the high wall jump, Aim and Hop and Shimmy up to the small triangle platform, worked wonders! You are a legend, good sir!
Okay I really hope this gets liked, or pinned, something because me and like 4 of my friends were having an absolute hell of a time figuring out what we were doing wrong. Felt like we were doing it perfectly, before we finally realized. On the third part, where it’s wall jump -> Clamber, make sure you turn Aloy so she’s perpendicular to the clamber point. We were accidentally having her face into the junction between clamber ledge and wall, and we were almost unable to do it. Now that we’ve realized that, I’ve done it first try every time for the past hour, roughly 15 runs or so. Life changing. Great video, insanely helpful guide
Hey I just wanted to say that in your coil datasheet it says that it is not possible to farm purple 15% frost and shock coil but I managed to find them from killing thunderjaws in the last 2 days.
Oof, oh boy, I don’t know if I’ll be able to do this one. I’ll give it my best shot, but this kind of platforming has always been very difficult for me. 😅 But I really need those last few brimshine to upgrade my preorder outfit, and I very much do not want to do a whole second NG+ for it.
@@ArktixOfficial Same here. Been rockin Burning Shores since it launched. I still found time to finish Ragnarok for the 3rd time on GMGOW difficulty. GNA and Kraki are no joke, yet my man SMVR beat both with all 9 burdens and lvl 1 gear. Dude is a machine.

I think the developers may have updated and placed a wall cos now I can't do it anymore. Like there's a wall blocking me now. Is anyone else having this issue?
What are the best items to duplicate in terms of coils and weaves? I figured I will need to buy some from merchants before duplicating them. Can we duplicate legendary coils and weaves?
Whichever coils and weaves you want to use the most. Yes, you can duplicate legendary ones. Check out my coiling guide video to get an idea of the most useful ones. There’s a lot of them.
Does new update today patch glitch? Im still trying to learn adaptive controller buttons to see if I can do it at all..wish someone could SharePlay do it for me lol
I finally got it to work today (post-1.24) after much trial and error with the Grimhorn positioning and jumping. I just could not get the first triangle platform jump correct. Once I got that down a few times I was able to complete it, however I don’t think the shards duplicated! Everything else duped except my shards. Strange. I’ll try it again tonight or tomorrow to see if it does it again. Thanks to all who contributed to this video!
@@JB-nq5rf I don’t think shards duplicate because they’re not stored in the stash. You get the massive increase in shards by selling things you’ve duplicated.
Glad you were able to get it! Shards don't actually duplicate because you can't move them into your stash. You just get more shards by selling extra duplicated items.
Now, Sony just has to release Project Leonardo adaptive controllers so those of us who have trouble with PS controllers as is can do this...wasted 5+ hrs and my thumbs just can't do it. I did, I think figure out how to glitch the Stormbird very early, so you have all the time you need to practice.
My method. Filld me hard drive and it cannot update XD. Gonna do this a ton with wall jumps before updating. Tbh tho it sorta isn't optimal for speed running that they removed it. Ahhwell.

Qthe arena dupe glitch aside, i think its pretty disappointing that there are invisible walls at all though there can sometimes be a work around. Pls help me I've been trying for an hour

Be patient, know when to walk away when you get frustrated. PS5 controller is expensive. Don't want to smash it!

Nice! Yeah it’s a handy end-game trick for sure.
A small tip if your struggling to get a good lie for the graphorn. You don't necessarily need it to lie in such a way you can get straight onto the log pile. If it's close enough to the wall that you wall jump off, it's a lot easier to jump off the graphorn than run up the log

Holy mother of God I did it. I kept failing at the dumbest part - jumping from the platform AFTER the small triangle to the next one. I finally did it though with a combo of all the techniques and duplicated everything in case I never do it again 🤣
For those who dislike the Grimhorn method, I still went into this arena but tied them both down and killed one away from the area I wanted to be in, and I did the slide up the log. At the apex of the slide (it's higher than you think), that's when you do the wall jump to the ledge. It takes a couple tries (in my case .. too many) but I found it easier than trying to bait a Grimhorn.

Thank you very much for the detailed accumulation of all known jumping techniques. Special thanks to you for showing the positions of the joysticks and sequences of pressing the buttons. Thanks to this I saw that before jumping to the second level, it is necessary to constantly jump up not on the visible wall, but just on the invisible left, or rather in the invisible corner between them. In this way it is easier to push off from the visible wall in order to climb up to the second invisible platform.

@@ArktixOfficial I've found out for myself that this is the best place to practice combined low-power jumps of different techniques. It would be a shame if GG shut it down. That's why I turned off downloading patch 1.25 for now, just in case.
I have a pretty rad method btw:
get some armor on that’s pre equipped with good low profile specs on it and implement it with even more low profile weaves. You then don’t even have to worry about the grimhorns while trying to get through the tricky task of getting up the wall.
They may initially spot you but if you have the appropriate outfit on they’ll soon forget you exist and will stay in their cages.

Unrelated topic but I kinda hoped that the BURNING SHORES would add a new armor that enhances elemental statuses.
LIKE:
Longer Fire, Corrosion, and Purge Water states (ice & elec are already OP, and plasma doesn't need it);
More damage from Fire, Corrosion, and Plasma;
More damage from exploding & shooting off elemental canisters;
More damage from hitting weak points;
And more damage and elemental build-up from environment traps;
I also hope especially with the new elemental spear they would ass a legendary spear. It is crazy we do not even have a purple one
Took me about five minutes getting on top of the logs using that slide to boost jump method for the record! No dinosaur needed 😊
Also, it turns out you can kill one Dino and hopefully the other one will lose sight of you, eventually giving you all the time you need to work on this!

Me too! Tried there and abandoning the challenge didn’t bring me back into the arena…kind of just glitched everything out instead and I ended up with only the gear from the Dreaded Encounter. Reloaded my save and everything good but I want that crit dmg coil
1 additional note. If you used the save game editor on a ps4 save to give yourself massive resources in your inventory do NOT use the glitch on your resources. It will reset your inventory back to the normal in-game max, so if you had 9000 of the crafting resources in your inventory not the stash and you trying to duplicate those it moves the 9000 to the stash but instead of having that also in the inventory you'll now only have the normal 100 or so in your inventory
This will only matter if you have transferred your safe to a ps5, if your still playing on the ps4 or ps4 version on the ps5 you can re-edit your inventory but if that save has become a ps5 save your screwed
Biggest thing none of these vids mention that made it much easier for me was to switch on always run mode. Improved my jump at the beginning almost immediately
Good tip! I play with it on, so I don't think about that much. Some people have told me they find it easier with it off. I guess it's just different for everyone.

This kind of research might be applicable to reality, and with that team anything is possible, have you thought about that? :) Very entertaining video even though the route is patched and I never had the desire to use it.
I did the grimhorn method a while back were you have to destroy it in front of the wall. Its too time consuming. Just kill one and the other one tie down. Its easier. Sometimes you dont have to tie it down.
I am glad last entire week i learned this route and stacked up my resources as its patched now 😅

Wow that’s crazy the max amount you can make 2,147,483,647 is the max cash on Old school RuneScape!! That makes sense honestly guess it would crash the game for any game numbers that big haha that’s wild
Oh yes good point. 2,147,483,647 is actually a common limit in computing because they use 32-bit number storage and this is the max positive number you can have. It's literally written as a 0 followed by 31 1's. If you go one further, the whole thing rolls over and becomes -2,147,483,647 !
Idk how to explain it but for grabbing that invisible ledge, what I do is when I wall jump to it i will rotate the stick more towards where that ledge would be and it's always away from where the visible wall is so I want to say aim for the middle but it's invisible but she almost always grabs it and yes that was frustrating trying to get on that ledge. Ha I wish I would've waited for your video I got it down to like 3 minutes but that one where he just come from underneath the platform is easy. I do the storm bird way I've done it like 4 times now techinically 6 but I forgot to take the coils off twice.

I'm pretty sure all game devs are aware that people are incredibly good at breaking their games and it will happen to theirs. I know some of them get a kick out of seeing it happen!
I don't have the dlc, so still on 1.18. If it will be on ps plus premium, I might have to use the arena glitch this way. Ty for the info!
This is a great tutorial. Unfortunately, as someone who didn’t start arena duplicating until two weeks before burning shores came out, this is totally not worth the time, energy, and frustration. Before it was worth it cause it was quicker than killing the machines for parts, now it’s actually faster to kill the machine than duplicate it’s parts. I guess that was the point of the devs taking away the other way. RIP arena glitch.
I struggled 2 hours using Oruga’s guide, until I figured it out. I don’t remember how many times I did it, but I now have 400 Legendary Coils of each type, and like hundreds of each machine resource. I also got 999 x brimshine, etc.
Don’t give up. It’s still worth it and once you get a hang of it you’ll get resources way quicker than farming them.

@@TheAndersDanilet after more practice, I did find the slide and ropecaster technique worked best for me, but still a pain (in comparison). So you’re right, it can be worth it once you get it down. The coils/weaves are definitely the only reason to do the duplication. I guess I don’t need 5,000 of every waterwing and bilegut part 😂.

Regarding land bearings. What I found helpful since the first version of the jump glitch, when you're outside the arena on ur mount, you can see the zenith base as you head to the lowland stash. Your other marker that tells u ur headed right, is the stormbird flying in the distant mountain peak to your right. Those landmarks made it easy for me to trail the lowlands base stash

I might actually abuse this, now that I feel like I've thoroughly completed the entire experience without it. I wouldn't mind having more of the best coils, including the new ones from Burning Shores.
I won't be able to play again for several weeks due to moving homes. I'll have to hope it doesn't get patched before I get a chance.
I just did the original method. It's pretty difficult at the first, I think my first successful duplication took me more than 45 mins. After doing it a few times I can do it every 3-4 mins.

Okay I really hope this gets liked, or pinned, something because me and like 4 of my friends were having an absolute hell of a time figuring out what we were doing wrong. Felt like we were doing it perfectly, before we finally realized. On the third part, where it’s wall jump -> Clamber, make sure you turn Aloy so she’s perpendicular to the clamber point. We were accidentally having her face into the junction between clamber ledge and wall, and we were almost unable to do it. Now that we’ve realized that, I’ve done it first try every time for the past hour, roughly 15 runs or so. Life changing. Great video, insanely helpful guide

Unfortunately, MFU doesn't get trigger by grapple strike, which almost seems like a bug.

Whichever coils and weaves you want to use the most. Yes, you can duplicate legendary ones. Check out my coiling guide video to get an idea of the most useful ones. There’s a lot of them.

I finally got it to work today (post-1.24) after much trial and error with the Grimhorn positioning and jumping. I just could not get the first triangle platform jump correct. Once I got that down a few times I was able to complete it, however I don’t think the shards duplicated! Everything else duped except my shards. Strange. I’ll try it again tonight or tomorrow to see if it does it again. Thanks to all who contributed to this video!
@@JB-nq5rf I don’t think shards duplicate because they’re not stored in the stash. You get the massive increase in shards by selling things you’ve duplicated.
Glad you were able to get it! Shards don't actually duplicate because you can't move them into your stash. You just get more shards by selling extra duplicated items.

Now, Sony just has to release Project Leonardo adaptive controllers so those of us who have trouble with PS controllers as is can do this...wasted 5+ hrs and my thumbs just can't do it. I did, I think figure out how to glitch the Stormbird very early, so you have all the time you need to practice.
