      That would be great, although it would be better if LEGO celebrated Technic's 50th anniversary with the introduction of new functions, for instance new high-speed motors for flight or waterproof motors for marine vehicles.

    I really love this set, but i have a good feeling that this type of set might come back in the near future and here is why: LEGO with the 42113 has introduced the "normal" control plus battery box that of course is so much cheaper than the one with bluetooth, and for the first time in the mercedes benz zetros set has introduced in lego technic the medium motor that is also much cheaper than the l or xl c+ motor.
    So with all these new element we can maybe se in the future a lot of sets that come with a motor and the battery box, and also the beloved accesory box which maybe will include the medium motor, the simple battery box and a bunch of other lego pieces.
    Thats not for sure but I would really like to be real.

  • @FFcossag
    @FFcossag Год назад

    I just snagged one of these for cheap and built it, and I'm kind of disappointed. The aesthetics are excellent and the size is impressive, but the functions feel half-baked. The crane is the most anemic and slow of all my larger Technic sets. You'll notice that Unbrickme didn't show it lifting anything in the video. That's because it basically can't! The use of universal joints to connect the linear actuators makes their movement uneven; you can see the whole crane sort of rocking in the video as the outer actuator is used. The layout of the controls is also really clunky to use, requiring you to be fiddling with both sides of the set at once to do anything.
    It's a huge shame, had the mechanisms been just a little more polished, this set could have been really, really good.

    Here is an idea: top 5 rarest LEGO technic axles

  • @LimChingLiang
    @LimChingLiang Год назад

    Legendary? I don't think so because 42043 are better than it. But the true legendary Technic set ever created, it had to be 8455. 8258 are good but it feel like half done product because of missing tipper tray or trailer.

    • @Unbrickme
      @Unbrickme  Год назад

      While you make some fair points, you have to admit that sets like this are extremely rare nowadays, and also such an unusual variety of power functions electronics was included, and that mechanism that allows for two independent motions to pass through a single turn table

  • @radbot1
    @radbot1 2 года назад

    I think 8480 was still better. Electronics wise it had colour matched battery box, two switch's, ungeared motor, micro motor and lights. Mechanisms wise, except for the micro motor there was no pre built gear reductions (such as linear actuators and gear reduction in the main motor) so you built all the reductions yourself, using a greater variety of both gear and belt drive reductions, making for a mechanically more interesting build. The landing gear also had a more intricate mechanism of levers. The crane truck was okay but not legendary like 8480. It also could have done with having dual rear wheels and suspension like the legendary Arocs, the Arocs also had a much more powerful pneumatic 4 function crane, more interesting and realistic steering mechanism for a 4 axle truck and a tipper bed.
