Found an incomplete one of these in pieces at a thrift store for 8 dollars. Missing quite a few pieces but I've got a vast bulk collection to complete it with. Looking forward to rebuild this baby! The motor/battery box cost was worth it, not including the other missing parts. Super excited.
I found a box of this set at a Goodwill thrift store, paid more at $35 after Goodwill's own half off discount because it'd been sitting there so long. Box was a torn up mess, but it still had everything inside unopened. Had been an unsold Target clearance item originally before it ended up at Goodwill. Think the state of the box kept people from buying it before I saw it.
I am currantly building this set and in fact, this is my first ever technic set. I was blown away how hard it was to build and some instructions were unclear but I would say this is a great set for competitive builders
This is really challenging for me, id say that the claw mechanism was the hardest thing for me to do but it was absolutely genius in my opinion, this would be the perfect set we had a remote to play with it and move it around, best lego set ive ever built.
I just built mine. The power functions have a weird feel to them compared to other sets. You have to keep going side to side and flipping the switches and reversing the motor. And the pneumatics are inconsistent and a bit unclear in some points in the instructions. Even so, the set is a must have for any Technic enthusiast!
I used to have it in 2016 from my dad gift but after a year It disappeared now and I feel that I have missed one of the greatest model of Technic theme ☹️
It is pretty interesting, never had one but pneumatics seem a bit inconsistent in terms of speed and strength... was it cool to play and to do MOC's with?
About in 2015- 2026 u can buy this set with 200$ but now the product is retired so the price it doubled twice and even more expensive throught the time
This in my opinion is the best Technic set ever made. I definitely made sure to keep mine intact.
Without a doubt one of the best technic sets ever. We are long overdue a comparative set lego!

Great start with technic, very challenging
Sé que estás en español pero me da flojera traducirlo y es que según Google este es el más complejo de todos los legos 😮

I really like those 2 in 1 sets. There is a reason to disassemble first one ;)
So basically this is a new and improved version of my old 8868 set. Looks amazing.
great set but the suspension is too high and surely the wheels are too small?
Cool I have that set and I'm also working on a smaller version of it
Wow you should show me pictures once it will be finished.
@@AllTheBricksTogether yea I will do only a few more details to add
@@AllTheBricksTogether it's finished now I'll post it on RUclips as soon as I can
This (In my opinion) is the best but it took me 3 weeks to build
Gibt's da auch eine Fernbedienung dazu über die man das steuern kann?
Cool! 👍
I've had this set since 30 december 2017 year.
Great set, i got this one from my colleague's son
I used to have it in 2016 from my dad gift but after a year It disappeared now and I feel that I have missed one of the greatest model of Technic theme ☹️
@@dungphan9875 Now this set is deleted for lego shops😔😔😪😪
@@Kwas2137 Yeah I know right wish lego make a lot more pneumatic sets
You should compare it to the Zetros
I love the set🤩😍
And ur video too😘🙂
You should customize it
I used to have it in 2016 but i lost it somehow and the last time I saw it was in 2017 :(
you can buy one on bricklink.com
You can but at bricklink

Replace the air pump with an incompressible fluid pump.
super
great set but it came out in 2017(i think) why are you reviewing it now?
I'm collecting LEGO only since 2019. And where there is no new set, I'm trying to get the older ones 😁
And Arocs is actually even older - 2015
This Logo now sells for 900 Euros, too rich for my blood, next!
All the bricks together.. please tell me for how much you bought this set now! 😫
About in 2015- 2026 u can buy this set with 200$ but now the product is retired so the price it doubled twice and even more expensive throught the time
Right now the cheapest one cost 227$ (used)
I have bought now for 120€ :)
There is one reason I never would want to buy this set: the wheels are too small... This makes the Mercedes-Benz Arocs really ugly.
I think the truck is good enough by itself as a set without the messy pneumatic system.
first yay.!
Yay 😁
Жалко што нету радиоупровления😢
Is that cereal?
yes 😂 but no food went to waste, everything was eaten.
@@AllTheBricksTogether bruh Sariel do the same thing, but with hamster food😂
