Ive known about Code Orange for a long time, never did a huge amount of listening outside of their bigger singles, but these last few singles have won me over. Im gonna be all over this album.
OC was never on my radar. Saw this and was like man this dude is LEGIT and I loved what he’s about in this interview. Picked up I Am King because of this interview and will continue to support.
Every interview up to this one I’ve seen of Jami he’s in his stage persona (which is totally fine) but it’s cool to see him be himself and turns out he’s really funny
I hope this can become a full-time gig for you guys or you can get to the point where you put out multiple episodes a week. I've literally ripped through every single episode you've done, in the last three weeks. Some I've even watched twice and my knowledge for bands that I had never knew about or listen to has made my playlist so much bigger.
I can for sure say, Code Orange is the most energetic band I've ever gotten to see live and the venue I saw them at was itty bitty. I so appreciate that they're willing to give so much at every show
The “overparty” idea for an episode. (Friend of the show btw) an episode where Bo and Colin are putting young and old bands that need to be over. I’ll be waiting for my check in the mail ;)
I was watching a recent live Code orange set (Hellfest I think) a while before watching this and remember thinking that Jami has proper wet wrestler hair and the fact that they brought it up has me in bits
Jami, you'll never see this, but I will follow Code Orange no matter where you go, because of the art. I love that there's always a complete vision, I love that you guys always innovate and produce the whole package beyond the music. The ARGs are insane, and I'm checking intotheabove every day. I have my "what is really underneath" shirt on right now actually. I was surprised to hear that people didn't like Out For Blood. Had no idea. It's a bop; you're allowed to have some fun. I have the shirt for it. I would listen to it more if it was collected somewhere; you should release a compilation of all your EPs and singles and whatnot! Also, screw playlists, I listen to everything by album, always have, and maybe that's why I am utterly in love with Code Orange. No one produces media-music, remixes, videos, sites, album art, the entire immersive world-like you do, and you're so important for that reason. Code Orange is forever. Thank you for the depth of your art. (Also, it is so funny and AMAZING that a Forever vinyl was a prize on Price is Right hahaha.)
Code Orange are a cool ass band and Jami seems sound and hope their new album crushes it as we've waited a while for it now and nice to see a long form interview like this and hear more about the bands history
New stuff sounds like American Head Charge at home. No wonder you guys talked about how good the old stuff was and just glossed over the last few albums.
i k ow they were just playing about aaron gillespie or whatever his name is from underoath… but the dude ripped on their first few albums like cries of the past. they sounded like a completely different band and went unironically 100% hard. he didn’t do any singing back then except for really high pitched screams on tracks like cries of the past. peep it
Code Orange is like the Pink Floyd of extreme music. They are pushing the boundaries of production, songwriting, live performance, and art in a way that is so refreshing and groundbreaking.
@@jojogaywad tbf I'm saying he hates their music not the band members. He said at this festival ppl will be doing front flips to shitty acessible heavy music basically. I can only assume he's talking about Loathe, not Converge, TUI or Jesus Piece
@@IbanezPlayer124wait a minute I missed the part where they’re required to only play Hardcore? They’ve been making it known since the beginning they want to be more than just a Hardcore band. But that’s still what their background is and always will be. So sorry to tell ya that you sound ignorant as hell and these dudes literally talk about people like you in this interview
Love spending every Thursday with my close personal friends Colin and Bo.
Parasocial gang check in
the new code video is worth the watch
I clicked on this and it had two responses and I was immensely disappointed to see that the two were not Colin and Bo
do you all get a group discount at the military surplus store for pants?
Thank you dudes for never letting us starve and always serving

I love listening to the late night/early morning audio drops of Hardlore and then checking back after work to see what shirts they're wearing
Bo must be brought to Justice for his crimes against Coca Cola and it’s people. We will not turn away.

Saw Code Orange and Twitching Tongues at Anchors Up in like 2014. Absolutely terrifying time
I was there too! Wild show
When he was talking about going 1000% every night because it's all they got, that they live for the stage. I felt that in my soul
I want to hear the bands Jami hates please
All about the etown love!!

Very strange comment
innovative?
This guy is a little full of himself, eh?
So much. "We don't do what other people do". Give me a break.
