As a non-cuber who's watching this just for entertainment, it's really interesting to see how your thought patterns change once you learn how to solve it. There were a few times where my own "intuition" (in quotes bc I'm sure what I'm saying could be wrong) was like "why's he making that so complicated that part looks easy" merely because I don't know if that would mess up sides I'm trying to keep. Really neat stuff!

      Just do Quantum Bogo Sort.
      1. Randomize cube. 2. Check if it's solves. 3. If not solved: destroy the universe.
In the multiple worlds interpretation of quantum theory this leaves you in only one possible universe, the one where it randomly sorted in only one move.
A simple O(1) solution. Just remember to destroy the universe/time continuum if you dont get the correct result.

As a non-cuber, I’ve never considered that some people would solve a side without the correct neighboring colors. Like unless you’re really young or have never picked up a Rubik’s cube before, I can’t imagine that you’d just blindly focus on one side without making sure the pieces are in their correct spot.

Before that, i managed to figure out that you need to solve it layer by layer, some of my own algorithms to swap corners or edge pieces, and managed to solve the 3 x 3 without any tutorials consitently, although it would take a while due to the lack of a step by step process, but just solving it bit by bit and using my self made algorithms when needed.

    8:33 M2 U2 M2 U2 4 moves :D
Edit: since someone already put that alg before I did, i need to think of something creative... solve a 3 by 3 only using singles moves(scramble with single moves as well so you don't get any impossible cases)

The quickest algorithm I know for solving four sides is U2 M2 U2 M2
    Edit: Jperm also works.
